소방공무원의 직무스트레스, 회복탄력성, 공감능력이 직무만족도에 미치는 영향 (Effects of job stress, resilience, and empathy on job satisfaction in firefighters)

  • Purpose: This study attempted to identify job stress, resilience, and job satisfaction among firefighters and to identify factors that influence job satisfaction. Methods: The study was conducted among 150 active firefighters who agreed to participate after reading an explanation of the purpose and importance of the study. They were sent a link to the self-report questionnaire URL via text message. Results: The mean scores for the variables were 2.26 for job stress, 3.55 for resilience, 3.30 for empathy, and 3.23 for job satisfaction. There was a significant difference in job satisfaction based on age. Job satisfaction was significantly positively correlated with empathy (r=248, p=.002) and resilience (r=463, p<.001) and significantly negatively correlated with job stress (r= -.740, p<.001). In other words, higher resilience and empathy were associated with higher job satisfaction, while higher job stress was associated with lower job satisfaction. And job stress was the influencing factor of job satisfaction, with an explanatory power of 55%. Conclusion: To improve firefighters' job satisfaction, management programs should be developed to enhance resilience and empathy and specific measures should be taken to reduce job stress.

중년 골프 참여자의 자기관리와 신체적 자기 효능감 및 회복탄력성의 관계 (The Relationship among Self-Management, Physical Self-Efficacy and Resilience for Middle Aged Golf Participant)

  • 본 연구는 서울, 경기, 대전, 대구, 강원, 광주지역에 소재한 실외 골프연습장 이용객 237명을 대상으로 중년 골프 참여자의 자기관리와 신체적 자기 효능감 및 회복탄력성의 관계를 규명하는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위하여 SPSS 18.0과 AMOS 18.0을 이용하여 빈도분석, 탐색적 요인분석, 신뢰도분석과 상관관계분석을 실시하였고 모형을 설정한 뒤 구조방적식모형(SEM)을 통하여 변인간의 인과적 관계를 규명하였다. 이상과 같은 연구방법과 연구 모형 검증을 기초로 하여 본 연구에서 도출된 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중년 골프 참여자들의 자기관리는 신체적 자기 효능감에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 중년 골프 참여자들의 신체적 자기 효능감은 회복탄력성에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 중년 골프 참여자의 자기관리는 회복탄력성에 정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 중년 골프 참여자의 자기관리와 회복탄력성의 관계에서 신체적 자기 효능감은 매개하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 중년 골프 참여자들의 자기관리와 신체적 자기 효능감의 수준을 높이기 위한 방법이 다각적으로 모색되어야 할 것이다.

한국 신노년층의 생산적 노화를 위한 회복탄력형 여가 프로그램 알고리즘 검증 (A verification of algorithm on resilience leisure programs for the productive aging of the new elderly in Korea)

  • 이 연구는 한국 신노년층의 생산적 노화를 위한 회복탄력형 여가 프로그램 알고리즘을 검증하는데 목적이 있다. 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해서 2014년 대도시와 중/소도시 그리고 농촌지역에 예비노인(56세-64세)을 모집단으로 설정하여 525명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였으며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS 20.0프로그램을 이용하여 설문지의 신뢰도와 타당도검사, 의사결정나무분석을 실시한 결과 다음과 같은 결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 의사결정나무분석을 이용한 회복탄력형 여가프로그램에 영향을 미치는 요인은 주관적 건강상태, 활동욕구, 대인관계교류, 가계소득으로 나타났다. 둘째, 의사결정 나무분석을 이용하여 회복탄력성 변인의 알고리즘을 분석한 결과, 대인관계성, 자기조절성, 긍정성 요인 순으로 나타났다. 회복탄력성의 구성요인들 간의 구조적 알고리즘은 대인관계성에 따라 대인관계성이 낮은 집단의 경우는 긍정성과 관련이 있고, 높은 집단은 자기조절성과 관련이 있음을 알 수 있었다.

자아탄력성의 이해와 기독교대학에서의 소그룹 활동을 통한 적용 (Understanding of Resilience and Its Application through Small Group Activities in Christian Universities)

  • 기독교대학은 대학생의 스트레스 상황에서 영향을 조절하여 완충시켜주거나 적응을 도와주는 자아탄력성의 구성요소들을 잘 분석하여 그 구성요소들을 강화시킬 수 있는 프로그램을 개발할 필요가 있다. 그러므로 이 연구는 자아탄력성과 기독교대학에서의 소그룹 활동 간의 관계성을 탐구하여 대학생의 자아탄력성의 증진을 위한 기독교대학에서의 역할을 모색하는 것을 목적으로 삼는다. 구체적으로 자아탄력성의 대표적 구성요소인 낙관성, 활력성, 감정통제력, 그리고 대인관계능력을 강화시킴에 있어서 소그룹 활동의 특성들과 어떠한 관련이 있는지를 분석하는 것이다. 그리고 이러한 분석에 기초하여 기독교대학에서 소그룹 활동을 통한 영적 돌봄이 효과적으로 이루어질 수 있는 몇 가지 사례들을 제시한다. 결론적으로, 이 연구는 소그룹 활동이 스트레스로부터의 회복을 도와주는 자아탄력성의 네 기본요소들을 강화시켜 주기 때문에 기독교대학이 보다 적극적으로 종교 교육적인 목적의 소그룹 활동을 개발시킬 것을 제안한다.

Perceptions of the Relationship between Port Security Level, Resilience, Cargo Operational Performance, and Sustainability Performance among Korean Port Operators and Shipping Companies

  • Purpose - As globalization progresses, complexity also increases, and various factors that threaten port functions are emerging. Accordingly, the demand for port security to prevent the crisis and resilience that quickly recovers its original function after the crisis is also increasing in port operations. However, few studies have examined how to ensure the port security and how the resilience affects operation performance of port and sustainability performance as well. So the study aims to find out how port security affects port resilience and port operational performance, and consequently, this two factors affect socioeconomic and environmental sustainability performance respectively and synthetically. Design/methodology - Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) was first performed to determine the validity of the factors of model and hypothesis test was performed using Structural Equation Model (SEM) to analyze the Port Performance Model, which show the perception logic among port security level, port resilience, operation performance, and sustainability performance. In order to empirically analyze this model, total 264 respondents from port security operators, shipping companies in South Korea were surveyed. Findings - As result of SEM, First, port security level positively affected the resilience (H1) and cargo operational performance (H2) but not in both of the sustainability performances (H3, H4). Second, resilience positively affected only cargo operational performance (H5) and socio-economic sustainability performance (H7). Last, cargo operation performance positively affects the both of sustainability performances (H8, H9). Originality/value - It was confirmed that port security could improve cargo operational performance through ensuring port resilience and eventually increase the socio-economic sustainability. Therefore the study implies that careful integration and management of port security, port resilience, and sustainability are required, along with compromise on sustainable development goals in the social, economic, and environmental area among all stakeholders.

간호사 극복력 측정도구 개발 (Development of Resilience Scale for Nurses)

  • Purpose: This study was done to develop a measure resilience in nurses. Method: Forty preliminary items were extracted from a view of the literature on concept analysis and scale development, and from in-depth interviews with nurses. These items were examined for content validity, reliability and validity. The scale was verified with 496 nurses working in three advanced general hospitals located in Seoul and Gyeonggido. Results: Factor analysis resulted in the creation of the final scale, which consisted of 30 items that were grouped into 5 factors: dispositional pattern, relational pattern, situational pattern, philosophical pattern and professional pattern. The explanatory variance was 56.25%. The reliability of the scale was Cronbach's ${\alpha}=.95$. Correlation of the scale with the Korean version of the Connor-Davidson Resilience Scale (K-CD-RISC), established its construct and concurrent validity (r=.74, p<.001). Conclusion: The resilience scale for nurses was found to have reliability and validity, and as developed in this study reflects nurses' disposition and was confirmed as a basis for developing and evaluating programs to increase nurses' resilience.

The Effects of Clinical Practice Stress and Resilience on Nursing Students' Academic Burnout

  • The high degree of academic burnout experienced during academic life indicates that job skill levels during the first year following graduation are low, and the correlation with turnover intention is high. We investigated the effects of clinical practice stress and resilience on nursing students' burnout, and searched for factors that can prevent or control burnout. We recruited a convenience sample of 202 nursing students. Academic burnout, general characteristics, clinical practice stress, and resilience were assessed via self-reported questionnaires. The mean total score of academic burnout was 44.0 points; exhaustion was the highest at 18.5 points, inefficacy was 15.9 points, and cynicism was 9.6 points. High levels of clinical practice stress affected academic burnout (β=0.194, p=0.003), while high resilience was a factor that lowered the degree of academic burnout (β=-0.449, p<0.001). Based on our results, factors affecting students' experiences of academic burnout were clinical practice stress and resilience. We therefore propose the implementation of a new curriculum aimed at increasing satisfaction with the major, reducing clinical practice stress, and increasing resilience, including an efficient peer mentoring program for clinical practice.

아동의 자아탄력성, 어머니의 양육태도, 가족건강성이 학교생활적응에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Children's Resilience, Mothers' Parenting Style, and Family Strength on the Children's School Adjustment)

  • The purpose of this study was two folded. The first was to examine relationships among children's self-resilience, their mother's parenting style, family strength and the children's school adjustment and the second was to investigate the relative effects of the three variables on the children's school adjustment. To achieve the purposes, a total of 198 5th and 6th grade children and their mothers were surveyed on children's resilience scale, parenting style scale, family strength scale, and school adjustment scale. As a results, positive relationships among the four variables were observed. Also it was founded that children's self-resilience is the most effective, mothers' parenting style is the second, and family strength is the least factor on school adjustment. From the results the researchers suggested that early intervention is needed to enhance family strength as well as intervention to improve self-resilience in order to increase the children's school adjustment.

보육교사의 소진에 대한 자아탄력성과 시설장, 동료교사와 가족의 사회적 지지 (The Effect of Ego-resilience and Directors, Co-workers and Family's Social Support to Childcare Teachers' Burnout)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of childcare teachers' ego-resilience and directors, co-workers and family's social support to childcare teachers' burnout. The participants in this study were 326 childcare teachers from Daejeon metropolitan city and Chungnam province. They responded to the 'Maslach Burnout Inventory', 'Ego-resilience Scale', and 'Social Support Scale'. The collected data were analyzed by t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's productive correlation, stepwise multiple regression, Duncan test for post hoc test, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ for reliability, and factor analysis for validity by SPSS PC program (18.0 version). The results were as follows; first, there were significant differences in childcare teachers' burnout scores in relation to the educational levels of childcare teachers, their working hours, children's number per class, and the ages of the children they teach. Second, there were significant negative correlations (r = -.11~-.62) among childcare teachers' ego-resilience, directors, teaching colleagues and family's social supports, and their levels of burnout. Finally, childcare teachers' ego-resilience and teaching colleagues' levels of social support helped explain about 43% the childcare teachers' burnout total scores and about 17~39% of their sub-scores.

영재 청소년의 학업탄력성 척도 개발 (Development of Academic Resilience Scale for Gifted Youth)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 영재 청소년의 학업탄력성 척도를 개발하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 158명의 과학영재교육원 학생들을 대상으로 개방형 질문과 선행연구 고찰로부터 101개의 기초 예비문항을 추출하였다. 이를 토대로 다시 240명의 과학영재학생들을 대상으로 문항분석 및 탐색적 요인분석을 실시하였다. 영재 청소년용 학업탄력성 척도 문항 개발을 위한 최종단계로 인천, 경기, 서울, 창원, 사천, 울산 지역의 영재교육원 및 지역영재학급 학생 444명을 대상으로 확인적 요인분석을 실시하였다. 그 결과 영재 청소년의 학업탄력성을 측정할 수 있는 11요인 42문항을 추출하였다. 하위요인은 '목표의식', '자기이해', '교육적 열망', '학업적 자기조절', '과제 집착력', '성공귀인(능력)', '성공귀인(노력)', '대인관계(친구)', '대인관계(부모)', '대인관계(교사)', '낙관성'으로 확인되었다. 척도의 타당도를 확보하기 위하여 확인적 요인분석 결과, 모든 경로계수가 유의하고, 개념신뢰도, 분산추출지수, 결정계수가 기준치 이상으로 나타났다. 또한 영재 청소년의 학업탄력성 척도가 학교적응, 회복탄력성, 학업소진 척도와 유의한 상관을 나타내고 있어 내적 외적 타당도를 확보할 수 있었다. 본 연구는 영재 청소년의 학업탄력성을 측정할 수 있는 도구를 개발하였다는 데 그 의의가 있다.
