First record of a stranded Melon-headed whale (Peponocephala electra) on the south-east coast of Korea was described. Full body and skull measurements were taken from the specimen. It was identified as P. electra by unique pointed flipper tips. Skull measurements of the specimen corresponded to condylobasal length proportions given in the previous descriptions of the holotype.

Generalized Pareto distributions play an important role in re-liability, extreme value theory, and other branches of applied probability and statistics. This family of distribution includes exponential distribution, Pareto distribution, and Power distribution. In this paper we establish some recurrences relations satisfied by the quotient moments of the upper record values from the generalized Pareto distribution. Further a char-acterization of this distribution based on recurrence relations of quotient moments of record values is presented.

The purpose of this study is to develop a model of the TOC (Table of Contents)-based research record system and to comparatively analyze its usability, in order to comprehensively and systematically manage and practically use the various research records generated from the entire process of research and development. For this purpose, the templates for technical recording and the components of each item were proposed to enable technical recording based on TOC, and structured contents were designed to organically connect between these TOC technical records and existing research records. Also, a database logical schema was developed to design a database, and a test collection was constructed on the basis of research records and TOC technical records. Finally, the model of research record system was constructed by designing TOC record search system and user interface including integrated search system. Based on this model, the usability assessment was performed by comparing the existing distributed general systems with the TOC-based research record system. As a result of the comparative analysis of these two systems, the TOC-based research record system showed generally higher utilization of research records than the general systems.

The importance of record management is emphasized in various fields. In the field of sports in particular, the importance of record management is key, and many efforts are being made to keep a record of the history of many sports. Therefore, in this study, a plan to develop a sports record information service centered on basketball was proposed. In this study, the sports records information service development plan that is described not only has an eye toward developing technology, but is also described from the perspective of records management, which has recently been in high demand. To this end, a demand analysis was conducted on prospective users through FGI, and procedural elements of record analysis were derived. In addition, the system structure and database schema were designed, and a screen for managing and browsing records was presented. Through this study, it is expected that research on sports record management will be able to be actively conducted in the record management field.

This research was to know EMG tendency on increasing record in snatch weightlifting. In order to perform this research, we choiced 3 man national weightlifters, EMG analysis were executed on 8 major muscle(Latissimus Dorsi, Trapezius, Anterior Deltoid, Posterior Deltoid, Gastrocenemius, Vastus Medialis, Erector spinae, Abdominal). First trial record of athletics is 80% of each maximal record and increase the $5{\sim}10kg$ gradually. In this study, EMG signal scale of all muscle except posterior Deltoid muscle don't increased according to increasing the barbell weight, This showed a difference between general recognition and experiment result. In posterior Deltoid muscle, EMG signal scale increased according to increasing the barbell weight. It was assumed that EMG signal of protagonist shows possibility of linear increasing if motion have a consistency. It was assumed that In present, In order to increase one's record to $5{\sim}10kg$, Motion consistency training is more effective training method than increasing the muscle force.

This study suggested the necessity of the management of R & D management records produced from government-supported science research institutes (the so-called "gwagichulyeon") and of a record management manual (item). As such, it gathered rules with regard to record management, conducted a survey, and interviewed general R & D managers. As a result of the research, the ratio of the arrangement of R & D managers to R & D management departments is 100%; however, the ratio of the arrangement of record managers is 33.3%-50%, and the ratio of the arrangement of record management departments is 23.1%, which was poor. The enactment ratio of record management rules is 26.4%, and 73.7% of institutes has managed their records under the provision only of document management rules or only of office management rules. R & D management records has been collected according to an institute's capability without a prescribed collection scope, and the conditions with regard to the omission, damage, and loss of records were poor. There are institutes that did not comprehend the production status of R & D management records. Thus, as a response, this study suggested a record management manual (item) established for the arrangement duties of record managers and record management departments as well as for notifications on the status of R & D management records. In addition, this study produced a standardized collection scope and described how to manage R & D management records.

PURPOSE. This study compared the SCGAs measured in three types of radiographic images (panoramic, CBCT panoramic-section, and CBCT cross-section images) with values measured using the protrusive occlusal record. MATERIALS AND METHODS. SCGAs were measured in 20 patients on a semi-adjustable articulator using the protrusive interocclusal record. Panoramic and CBCT images were obtained. SCGAs were measured on CBCT images in panoramic and cross sections. In all of the radiographic images, SCGAs were measured using the Frankfort horizontal reference line and the mean curvature line. The most-superior and most-inferior points of the curvatures were identified to determine the mean curvature line. Each measurement was performed twice by two operators independently. The data were analyzed by the t-test, Pearson's correlation test, and Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ using SPSS (${\alpha}=.05$). RESULTS. The mean right and left SCGAs were as follows: protrusive occlusal record (30.1 and 30.2 degrees, respectively), panoramic (38.9 and 38.7 degrees), CBCT panoramic sections (35.4 and 36.8 degrees), and CBCT cross sections (35.3 and 36.1 degrees). The SCGAs differed significantly among the groups. The Pearson coefficients for the correlations with the protrusive occlusal record measurements on the left and right sides were as follows: panoramic (0.834 and 0.791, respectively), CBCT panoramic-section (0.918 and 0.837), and CBCT cross-section (0.918 and 0.845) images. CONCLUSION. Strong correlations were found between SCGAs obtained using radiographic images and the protrusive occlusal record.

A hippolytid shrimp, Lebbeus grandimana, is described from the southern part of the East Sea and this is the first record of the species in Korea. The genus Lebbeus of the family Hippolytidae currently comprises four species in Korea. A key to identify the four species of the genus Lebbeus from Korean waters is provided.

The Fraser's dolphin, Lagenodelphis hosei has a pantropical distribution. Only several stranding or catch data were available from Japan and Taiwan in the north-west Pacific region. An adult female L. hosei stranded in Jeju-do, Korea. The specimen was identified by external features and skull measurements. It showed the same external appearance ratio and range in the number of teeth with L. hosei former described. The cranial measurements also well corresponded to condylobasal length proportions given in the previous descriptions of the holotype. This is the first record of the species in Korean waters. We report the information on external and osteological characters of the specimen.

ICC(International Chamber of Commerce) developed new rule on the presentation of electronic record in L/C transactions. This rule named as the e-UCP. The gists of this article are on the application of e-UCP in practice and it's some problems. The e-UCP is the supplement of current exisiting UCP but is superior to UCP under some circumstances. The e-UCP is only apply to the presentation of electronic record regardless of type of L/C(for example, traditional paper L/C or electronic L/C). The presentation of electronic record has some problems which has not seen in the presentation of paper document. These peblems are Time, Place of presentation, and format of electronic record and so on. The e-UCP provided on the basis of these problems. However, the e-UCP has some obscure provisions on the examination of electronic record and the corruption of electronic record. Who is responsible for the corruption of electronic record by the virus on the system of bank ? The current e-UCP is not clear on this matter. We have to note followings in case of presenting the documents electronically and applying the e-UCP. First, Beneficiary has additional duty to notice of completion of presentation. Second, It will be increasing the clean NEGO through prompt feedback of the descrepancy at the presenting time. Third, It is no use of L/G(Letter of Guarantee).
