사서교사는 수업을 담당하는 교사로서 뿐만 아니라 학교도서관의 정보관리자로서 학생, 교사 및 직원에게 안전한 서비스를 제공하기 위하여 저작권법에 관한 지식을 두루 갖추어야 한다. 사서교사들이 저작권 지식을 갖추도록 하기 위해서는 사서교사들이 저작권에 대하여 어느 정도의 인식을 가지고 있는가에 대한 실증연구가 필요하다. 이에 본 연구는 2006년 사서교사 1급 자격연수 과정에 참여한 사서교사들을 대상으로 저작권에 대한 인식도를 측정하였다. 본 설문분석 결과에 기초해서, 학교도서관 사서교사의 저작권 인식을 제고시키기 위한 개선방안을 구체적으로 제시하였다.

The purpose of this study is to improve library promotional marketing for the disabled by identifying requirements of public library disability services. This study aimed to investigate librarian service providers' awareness of library programs for the disabled in order to prepare a systematic plan for promoting such library services. Research methods used are a literature analysis and survey. First, the ratio of respondents with experience promoting activities and services for the disabled was less than 50%. Second, regarding methods for promoting library disability services, the respondents used library homepages, press releases, library user guides, library newsletters, and library pamphlets in that order. Third, when asked what kind of PR media the library disability service providers had experience with and how often they use it, library boards and banners were the most common response. Fourth, suggested improvements to the current design and content of PR materials included: clearer word choice (or greater understandability), more detailed descriptions, simpler layouts, and more interesting or eye-catching content in that order. Fifth, the library disability services which are in the most need of public relations were guide information for library disability services, Library and Information Service (DOI services and search services), using alternative materials and the library collection, and aiding the information search. Overall, when evaluating the promotion of disability services in Korea, the library's public relations for disabled services needs to improve because currently neither librarians nor the disabled community they are targeting has frequent or quality experience with it. Thus, the policy department for the library disability services must develop a variety of promotional strategies adjusted for each type of the disability and distribute PR materials to service providers individually, making sure to utilize effective PR methods.

본 연구는 "도서관연구소"의 중장기 발전방안을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위하여 주요 외국의 도서관연구 및 관련기구를 분석하여 시사점을 도출하였으며, 또한 도서관연구소를 SWOT 분석하고, 문헌정보학 분야의 교수를 상대로 도서관연구소의 바람직한 역할과 위상에 대한 인식도를 조사하였다. 이를 바탕으로 도서관연구소의 비전과 목표, 전략적 추진과제, 바람직한 위상과 조직체계, 중장기 성장 발전 모형, 내적 운영협력 및 대외 연구협력 체계 등을 제안하였다.

본 연구의 목적은 국내 문헌정보학 분야에서 발표된 118편의 정보활용교육 관련 학술지 논문을 분석하여 그동안의 연구 동향을 파악하고 당면과제를 모색하기 위한 것이다. 먼저 정량분석을 통해 연도별, 학술지별, 관종별, 연구자별, 연구주제별로 분류하여 동향을 분석한 후, 8개의 하위주제별로 내용을 분석하였다. 분석결과, 연구대상 관종으로는 학교도서관, 주제별로는 교육과정 개발을 다룬 연구가 가장 많은 것으로 나타났다. 반면에 공공도서관에 대한 연구는 매우 미흡한 것으로 드러났다. 본 연구는 이러한 결과들을 바탕으로 향후 정보활용교육에 대한 연구 방향에 대해 제안하였다.

이 연구의 목적은 현재 우리나라 도서관 상황에 가장 적합하다고 보이는 미래지향적 국립중앙도서관 분관의 중 장기 건립 방안을 제시하는 것이다. 이 연구에서는 지금까지 다양한 측면에서 논의된 국립중앙도서관 분관 건립(안)에 대한 대안으로서 "양극-다기화" 체제를 제안하였다. 이는 우선 하나의 직할 분관 건립에 주력하여 국가도서관 체제의 양축을 구성하고, 장기적으로 필요시 복수의 분야별 국립도서관을 건립할 수 있음을 의미한다. 이 연구에서는 이를 시발점으로 한 국가도서관 발전체제 구축 방향을 다음과 같이 제안하였다. 첫째, 직할 분관, 분야별 국립도서관, 지역대표도서관의 협력 체제 확립과 국가 차원의 전국적 도서관서비스의 연계 협력 모형 구축 및 중 장기 정책의 일관성과 지속성을 유지하고, 둘째, 실질적인 예산 확보 및 제반 정책적 지원 방안 강구하며, 셋째, 국내 도서관들 간 지역별 도서관 협력체계의 국가적 차원 연계 및 각급 도서관의 역할 정립을 지원하고, 넷째, 국가의 지속가능한 도서관 발전정책의 방향을 모색하였다.

본 연구는 대학의 교육과 연구성과에 미치는 대학도서관의 직접적인 영향요인을 분석한 것이다. 연구대상은 대학정보공시센터 대학알리미의 공시대상학교 144개교이며, 자료는 대학알리미와 KERIS의 학술정보통계시스템을 통해 수집하였다. 분석결과, 대학의 교육성과는 '1인당 열람석수'를 제외한 '도서관 이용환경' 변수와 대체로 정(+)의 상관관계를 나타내고 있고, 일부 변수는 교육성과에 직접적인 영향을 미치고 있다. 다음으로 대학의 교육성과는 '도서관 이용결과' 변수와 정(+)의 상관관계가 있고, 특히 도서관 대출, 도서관 방문, 상호대차 이용에 긍정적인 영향을 받고 있다. 셋째, 대학의 연구성과는 도서관 시설 규모를 제외한 '도서관 이용환경' 변수와 정(+)의 상관관계가 있고, 특히 장서 관련 요인에 긍정적인 영향을 받고 있다. 마지막으로 대학의 연구성과는 '도서관 이용결과'의 변수와 정(+)의 상관관계가 있고, 직접적인 영향력은 국내 논문수를 제외하고, 공통적으로 '천명당 원문복사 신청수', '1인당 상용DB 이용수'에 긍정적인 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다.

이 연구는 1959∼2002년간의 문헌정보학분야 석ㆍ박사학위논문의 연구동향을 분석한 것이다. 이 연구의 결과를 요약하면, 1959∼2002년간의 연평균 발표량을 38.5편으로 나타났다. 그리고 연도별로는 2002년이 가장 많고, 영역별 연평균 발표량은 순위는 도서관경영, 정보학, 공공봉사, 자료조직, 서지학, 장서개발(관리), 도서 및 도서관사, 문헌정보학기초 순으로, 각 영역의 주제별로는 문헌정보학교육, 도서관경영론 전반, 분류법, 장서개발(관리) 일반, 참고 정보봉사, 분석서지학, 도서관사, 정보검색분야가 각 영역의 타 주제보다 높게 나타났다.

This study starts off by stating that the lack of awareness in the importance of reasonable and systematized layout in management facility is essentially working against building a quality public library. And that there is a merit in studying the spatial elements, its density, amount of needed space, and the likes to efficiently deal with present workings of the library which are becoming more dynamic and complicated. This paper seeks to embark on this study and also to provide a foundational data for research on management facility of the public library. The paper bases its research on 10 public libraries which are located in Seoul City and in Gyeonggi province, and are built after the year 2000. The paper focuses on the spatial distribution by section and allotment of management facility space in the library. Consequently, to find solutions or to suggest improvements on problems encountered, the paper introduces Japan's cases (4 recently-built public libraries) as a foreign case study. With foregoing domestic and foreign library case analyses, and the survey results of managerial staffs' demands, the paper seeks to provide basic data about management facility space and its floorplan of the public library. The paper bases its research on pubic libraries' management facilities, and expects to contribute to the efficient building of the public library in the future.

이 연구의 목적은 대학도서관이 대학 내에서 지식정보자원의 수집 관리 유통을 통해 대학 교육의 내실화와 연구경쟁력 강화를 위한 핵심시설로서 운영될 수 있도록 법적 또는 제도적 기반을 마련하고자 하는 것이다. 현행 도서관법은 관종별 도서관의 관점에서 보면 공공도서관과 국립중앙도서관에 국한되어 대학도서관, 전문도서관, 학교도서관에 대해서는 선언적인 내용만을 담고 있다. 이에 따라 이 연구에서는 학교도서관진흥법의 경우에서와 같이 세부적으로 대학도서관 관계 법규의 변화 추이를 살펴보고, 대학도서관진흥법 발의 및 제정 과정을 조사 분석하며, 나아가 대학도서관진흥법의 제정 방향을 제시하고자 한다.

디지털도서관을 단순한 정보유통 구조의 한 부분으로 정의하지 않고 디지털도서관 그 자체를 자원의 생산, 유통 그리고 재생산을 위한 무형의 가치창출 행위로 인식하였으며 디지털자원의 속성을 해석함으로써 디지털도서관을 설계하였다. 즉, DRM(Digital Resources Management)의 가치를 디지털도서관으로 보았으며 그것을 전통적 도서관의 진화로 인식하였다. 이미 대학도서관들의 오픈액세스 자원생산이 이루어지고 있으며 클라우드 컴퓨팅 환경에서의 도서관 디지털장서 관리와 공유가 가능함을 보여줌으로써 출판이 가미된 디지털도서관의 가능성을 보여주었다.
