This study identifies the key determinants and technology innovation adoption type of participation in multimedia UCC services. This research examines how the major factors of perceived usability, self-expression, fun & entertainment, arousal, information sharing, other's positive reputation and interface easiness contribute to participation in multimedia UCC services. A sample survey of internet users was conducted, responses were collected from 629 respondents and consumer streaming data were analyzed. Some of the practical implications of the results are follows. This research have categorized that the types of technology adoption for the participation of UCC were innovator consumer, early adaptor consumer, early majority consumer, and late majority consumer. The results of multiple regression analysis indicated that perceived usability, interface easiness, fun & entertainment, self-expression, arousal, other's positive reputation and type of technology adoption posited a significant effect in multimedia UCC Services.

Due to the low usage level of traditional financial services in many developing countries, Fintech services that often substitute for such traditional services with greater convenience have great potential in these markets. However, there have thus far been relatively few attempts to examine Fintech adoption in developing countries. As financial services are a highly sensitive industry in terms of government regulation and consumer trust, it is critical for policymakers to understand how to foster a healthy Fintech marketplace in developing country environments. In this paper, we review the scholarly literature on Fintech adoption with respect to three stakeholder groups: customers, service providers, and policymakers. Adding with practitioner-oriented documentation relating to Fintech adoption in Vietnam, we derive propositions for Fintech adoption research in Vietnam and similar developing countries. We collect these propositions as a framework that suggests avenues for future research.

This paper proposes a blockchain-based urban service-operation model that can enhance usability by integrating several data-driven services operated in a city. In the proposed model, in order to encourage the participation of service users, the providers of data and values that can be consumed and utilized by each service acquire incentives, and consumers can use various services by paying the incentives. In this way, the proposed service model provides a structure in which various services can be interworked within the incentive system. The characteristics of blockchain technology can also guarantee service operation and management transparency. In addition, in this paper, by establishing and operating a prototype, the efficiency and operability of the proposed model are verified. As a result, three implemented data-driven urban management services are organically inter-compatible based on the concept of the proposed integrated incentive system. In the future, the proposed service model can be applied as an elemental technology of urban operational and management architectures based on citizen participation using local currency, and by cooperating with local economic revitalization projects of interest to many local governments. It is expected that the expansion of the blockchain technology area will also be possible through convergence with smart city services.

BACKGROUND: Rice production by the current standard cultivation method is predicted to decrease due to global warming. It seems that there has been a strong warming trend in Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do. This study attempted to understand the climate change in Hwaseongsi, Gyeonggi-do and to analyze the effect of climate change on rice production. METHODS AND RESULTS: The statistical and physicochemical analyses were performed using the rice cultivar 'Chucheongbyeo' yields grown at the rice paddy field plot in the Gyeonggi-do Agricultural Research and Extension Services and the weather data measured in near the rice paddy plot. CONCLUSION(S): There was no significant difference between the average rice yields per area in 2000s (2001~2010) and 2010s (2011~2020), but the rice yield variability was greater in 2010s than in 2000s. The mean, minimum, maximum temperature, and the sunshine hours were evaluated for the correlation with the rice yield. The understanding of climate change in Hwaseong-si, Gyeonggi-do and the major weather factors affecting changes in rice yield, presented in this study, would enhance scientific understanding of regional climate change, and improve rice cultivation management.

The purpose of this study was to make a comparative analysis of dental question and answer in portal sites. To achieve this, 4,212 questions were used for final analysis after connecting to Naver, Daum and Nate, which take first, second and third place in rank information of all sites at Rankey.com, to search dental information by keyword from January to late March. The results are as follows. Naver was the highest as a portal of Internet search engines. Questions on the use of dental clinics, the quality of dental services and the offer of dental services by types of dental clinics were very important. Dental clinics had to give dental patients customized services and information to please them through dental services and dental information services on the Internet, and questions and answers on this were increasing very explosively. Consequently, Dental clinics will have to give Internet users and health- and disease-related data searchers distinctive professional services by inquiring into factors affecting portal search and factors affecting health- and disease-related search, respectively.

Recently the complexity and difficulty of the IT projects are increasing due to technological and environmental risks, resulting in the adoption of PMO(Project Management Office) onto IT project management practices, including public area projects. For example, the Korean government regulated the application of PMO onto large scale public IT projects. However, since there has been no reliable method to estimate the cost to execute PMOs, a PMO cost evaluation model to support the budget and cost planning of PMO projects is required. Thus, the purpose of this research is to develop a systematic cost evaluation model for PMO projects. We identified the dimensions that determine the PMO execution cost to be the scale of the subject project, the technical difficulty level of the subject project, and the tasks to be executed in the PMO project. Based on the determinants, the PMO execution cost model were developed from historical data and experts opinion. Upon verification, the validity of the developed model has high level of consistency compared with their experiences of real PMO project costs.

Many problems making the use and management of patents arduous is caused by the difficulty in knowing the proper value. This study has suggests the methods to evaluate the value of patents by using a quantitative assessment scale as an alternative or complementary measure instead of the existing subjective evaluation tools. This study is to find a method to determine the capability and level of research and establish the scheme of use and management of patents by using the citation index as a quantitative assessment measure. The data used in this paper has been obtained from a public-sector R&D institute, the K-Institute in Korea.

The advent of Web2.0 has believed to be the solution against many barriers in information sharing, especially wiki. Information sharing and collaboration are realized voluntarily and unselfishly with wiki. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the benefits and challenges of using wiki as a project management method in an IT/IS project. Wiki-based project management could provide project managers and members with expert knowledge collaboration for better project results. In the research model, we used TMS(Transactive Memory System) theory to define the relation of collaboration and performance of project members. Based on a survey among project members, the interactions between wiki characteristics and performance are examined in an IS project environment. Using Smart PLS 2.0, the data was analyzed to define the interactions by the structural equation modeling. From the empirical data, the mediated effect of expert knowledge collaboration is supported. We also derive the implications of wiki-based method. It is expected to bring new possibilities of Project management performance.

In this study, has designed the ship application system for efficient data integration management of onboard ship and shore application/service utilizing data collected onboard ship, and has implemented the module. In order to supports onboard ship and shore service utilizing onboard ship collected data and provide a easy to access among individual devices, the ship application system applied the XML structure of ISO 16425 and the data sharing system model discussed in IALA, and the common module for system operation, a windows service for data collection/integral management, and web service module for management has been implemented.

This study was conducted to identify the current situation of home care nursing research and to propose future research in the area of home care nursing in Korea. The design was a retrospective descriptive study based on 171 studies. The studies were collected from nursing academic magazines, the national library web site and dissertations on home care. The data were classified according to the independent and dependent variables which were represented in the research title. The final category classification was defined by considering the research objectives and content as found in the 171 studies. Eight categories were created to describe the results of home care nursing research in Korea. They included: home care needs. home care services. home care costs. development of home care programs and equipment. management of home care services. effectiveness of home care services, development of an educational curriculum for home care, and recognition of home care services. Based on our research we have identified other future research areas that need to be developed such as community needs assessment, standards and guidelines for home care nursing, quality assurance and quality improvement for controlling home care quality, home care informatics. and a system of home care cost and ethics.
