Despite the important of qualitative research method, little is used to understand dress and culture in Korea. This study proposed qualitative research method to understand deeply cultural aspects of dress. The articles which were selected from J. of Korean Society of Clothing and Textiles, The Korean Society of Costume, Clothing and Textiles Research Journal, Home Economics Research Journal, published master's thesis and doctoral dissertation, and interdisciplinary articles were analyzed from 1977~1999. Based on results of the analysis of articles, it was found that qualitative research method was appropriate to understand dress and culture. Many articles were dealt with non-western culture. However, the use of qualitative research method is very well suited to help the researcher understand concepts that are deeply embedded in western culture. Implications pertain to researcher in the area of human behavior and marketing. The importance of dependability and credibility was discussed in qualitative research method.
With the implementation of the "Critical Disaster Punishment Act" in 2022, the safety and health management system within the organization is being established and awareness of the importance of safety culture is spreading. Measuring the level of safety culture in an organization can grasp the perception and attitude of members about safety. You can also identify the safety-related problems and improvements of the organization. In this study, prior studies on the safety culture level scale were considered, focusing on domestic literature studied from 2001 to 2021. Domestic literature was analyzed by research period, research field, author, core terms, and constituent factors of scale. The implications of the research trend analysis results of the safety culture level scale were derived.

Purpose: The purpose of this research is, by investigating organizational characteristics, types of nursing organizational culture and team effectiveness in ICU, to ascertain the type of nursing organizational culture and the organizational characteristic that can improve the team effectiveness. Method: The research targeted 427 nurses from 33 ICUs of 14 general hospitals which have more than 250 beds and the data were gathered by using self-report questionnaires from April 10, 2003 to April 24, 2003. For this research, the following tools were used; the tool for measuring organizational characteristics and organizational cultures and the tool for measuring team effectiveness. Result: The most significant nursing organizational characteristic in ICU is the centralization. The organizational culture in ICU is generally rank-oriented culture. There was a significant difference (p<.01) in four types of organizational cultures; relation-oriented, innovation-oriented, rank-oriented and task-oriented. Verifying influence power of organizational cultures upon team effectiveness of ICU, relation-oriented culture had 49.2% of an influence upon team effectiveness, innovation- oriented and relation-oriented culture had 60.4% of an influence, and rank-oriented, innovation-oriented and relation-oriented culture had 61.2% of an influence. The organizational culture profiles according to the types of nursing organizational cultures in 33 ICUs were found by a cluster analysis. They were classified into five culture profiles; strong balance culture profile, weak balance culture profile, innovation-oriented and task-oriened culture profile, strong relation culture profile and strong rank culture profile(p<0.5). According to me organizational culture profiles, a significant difference of team effectivenesses(coworker satisfaction, team performance perception, team satisfaction and team commitment) was found(p<.01). The strong balance culture profile had the best team effectivenesses. Conclusion: For nursing culture management, a nursing administrator should identify the relevant nursing organizational culture at first by utilizing an innovative team-leader. After identifying the organizational culture, the administrator should make strategic plans and practices that can distinguish good organizational cultures to be expanded from ones to be sublated so that a strong balance culture can be developed.
The characteristics of two different modes of perfusion culture, intermittent and continuous bleedings, were investigated by culturing the hybridoma cells producing von Willebrand Factor (vWF) monoclonal antibody (McAb) in a 15 L bioreactor without clogging the filter. Both culture methods exhibited similar profiles of cell density and metabolite concentrations during the culture period at the cell concentration of around 1${\times}$107 cells/mL. When the perfusion rate was increased, the intermittrnt bleeding culture showed problems of ammonia accumulation and decrease of cell viability. The continuous bleeding culture in terms of nutrient consumption and metabolite production kinetics. But the analysis of specific oxygen consumption rate showed that the specific oxygen consumption rate of intermittent bleeding culture was similar to that of exponential growth phase. The continuous bleeding culture showed higher specific oxygen consumption rate of intermittent bleeding culture. finally we proved the possibility of long-term operation of continuous bleeding culture and produced approximately 40 g of vWF McAb in a 15L bioreactor after one-month operation.

XAV939, a tankyrase inhibitor, exerts an anticancer effect in 3-dimensional (3D) cultured SW480 cells, however this is not exhibited in 2-dimensional (2D) cultured SW480 cells. In the current study, XAV939 induced a 3.7-fold increase in cellular apoptosis in 3D culture but not in the 2D culture. However, no significant changes were indicated in cell cycle distribution in the 2D or 3D culture. Based on the observation that protein expression, which was associated with the glycolytic pathway, was increased in the 3D culture, the effect of XAV939 on the patterns of glycolytic protein expression was assessed. XAV939 was revealed to decrease lactose dehydrogenase A (LDHA) expression in 3D cultured SW480 cells, but only exerted a small effect in the 2D culture. The coadministration of XAV939 with the LDHA inhibitor FX11 decreased proliferation in 3D cultured SW480 cells compared with the single administration of FX11, while there was no additive effect in the 2D culture. The lactate assay also indicated that XAV939 decreased lactate secretion in the 3D cell culture but not in the 2D culture. These results suggest that XAV939 exerts an anticancer effect through inhibition of LDHA in the 3D culture.

The study aims to investigate new theoretical approaches in an effort to resolve conceptual contradictions regarding the impact of organizational culture on developing culture for change, first by providing socio-structural frameworks supporting intrapreneurship, and second through encouraging professional culture behavior with management practices or organizational members acting as agents of change forming a deeper culture of values and behavior. The design of this research is quantitative. This study employs survey data of managers and section heads, which met the sampling requirements. Data analysis in this research used structural equation modeling (SEM) with the help of the AMOS program. The results show that all hypotheses are supported. The findings of this study suggest that the organizational culture transformation and dyadic social intrapreneurship based on professional culture (DSIBPC) have significant positive influence as antecedents of competitive advantage. This research also shows that DSIBPC is able to act as an important mediator that fills a gap in the relationship between organizational culture transformation toward competitive advantage, as well as being an alternative strategy for organizations in an effort to increase their competitive advantage. Referring to the results of this research, organizations need to focus and pay attention to the DSIBPC.
Purpose: This study started with interest in sport culture and is meaningful as an exploratory study to help with the basic understanding of sport culture research. Research design, data, and methodology: The approach of this study is the exploratory approach by literature reviews. This study carried out exploratory research on thinking about diversity of sports culture and the development process of sports culture by human history periods. Results: First, in thinking about cultural diversity, cultural absolutism and cultural relativism were identified. The characteristics of sports culture can identify universality, individuality and diffusion, and the attributes of sports culture included sharing, learning, accumulation, whole systematic relationship and change. Second, the characteristics of sports culture were identified by the approach of each historical era. The historical stages were divided into ancient civilizations, ancient Greece and Rome, middle ages and early modern period, and late modern period. Sports have historically been found to have a British-centered European origin or popularized in the United States. Conclusions: with the characteristics of modern sports culture, the globalization of sports culture, the prominence of sports industry and sports space marketing, and the symbiotic influence relationship of sports and mass media were examined and future directions were discussed.

In this paper, we describe the development of a bioreactor for a cell-culture experiment on the International Space Station (ISS). The bioreactor is an experimental device for culturing mouse muscle cells in a microgravity environment. The purpose of the experiment was to assess the impact of microgravity on the muscles to address the possibility of long-term human residence in space. After investigation of previously developed bioreactors, and analysis of the requirements for microgravity cell culture experiments, a bioreactor design is herein proposed that is able to automatically culture 32 samples simultaneously. This reactor design is capable of automatic control of temperature, humidity, and culture-medium injection rate; and satisfies the interface requirements of the ISS. Since bioreactors are vulnerable to cell contamination, the medium-circulation modules were designed to be a completely replaceable, in order to reuse the bioreactor after each experiment. The bioreactor control system is designed to circulate culture media to 32 culture chambers at a maximum speed of 1 ml/min, to maintain the temperature of the reactor at $36{\pm}1^{\circ}C$, and to keep the relative humidity of the reactor above 70%. Because bubbles in the culture media negatively affect cell culture, a de-bubbler unit was provided to eliminate such bubbles. A working model of the reactor was built according to the new design, to verify its performance, and was used to perform a cell culture experiment that confirmed the feasibility of this device.

The importance of corporate culture for its development has always been a classic research. Through excellent corporate culture, we can analyze the secrets of company success and provide important reference significance for other company brands. Since the outbreak of COVID-19, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has greatly increased its international recognition with its excellent efficacy, which has brought development opportunities to the TCM industry. The object of this research is the Beijing Tongrentang Group Co., Ltd. Tongrentang is a representative of Chinese time-honored brands in TCM industry. It has a development history of more than 350 years. It carries the traditional Chinese culture and Chinese medicine culture. The corporate culture of Tongrentang was thus extended and developed into 'Benevolence & love', 'Honesty & trustworthiness' and 'Quality first'. We can see that a good corporate culture is particularly important. This paper studies the unique Corporate culture of Tongrentang, and the reasons of company success. Hoping to help the company through this paper, so as to improve the company in the future. And put forward a certain practical significance and value.
The areas of fashion research and fashion design aesthetics & fashion history have been studied under a common research heading as a Humanities subject in the UK and the USA, and as Clothing and Textiles Studies in Korea. The purpose of this paper was to analyze the 2004~2013 research tendencies in terms of reporting methods and contents from 181 world-renowned Fashion Theory research papers within the UK and USA fashion research corpus, and 359 Korean research papers from The Research Journal of Costume Culture related to fashion design aesthetics & costume history field. The subject areas, periods, methodologies, and differences in the topics of the studies were examined. The results of the research are as follows. Regarding the research authorship and length of the research papers, in Fashion Theory most papers were written by a single English-speaking or other foreign language-speaking author and were on average longer than 21 pages, while in The Research Journal of Costume Culture, many papers were jointly written by two Korean researchers and were between 11 and 20 pages. Regarding the content, Fashion Theory was connected to relatively wide and diverse periodical and regional boundaries including the body, clothing, the fashion media, and the overall fashion system, while The Research Journal of Costume Culture revolved around the body and clothing, textiles, the fashion media, and costumes. In addition, since the late $20^{th}$ century, the studies appeared to be related to the current Western world overall or to the country of the author. Regarding the research methodology, Fashion Theory used diverse research subjects and methodologies, and research was conducted on topics relating to fashion culture or fashion aesthetics. On the other hand, The Research Journal of Costume Culture featured relatively more dynamic studies aimed at suggesting developments or solutions to problems. It was found that a large share of that research focused on detailed style analyses and suggestions for aspects such as design elements and design developments. Such differences are considered to be caused by the inherent differences between the academic departments for the Humanities, and the Human Ecology. The above research results are expected to provide fundamental information in setting a direction for future research to assist the globalization of domestic research.
