부유체 대표 평균 위치를 적용한 계류 라인의 시간 영역 피로 해석 효율화에 대한 연구 (Study on Efficient Time Domain Fatigue Analysis of Mooring Chain by Representative Mean Position)

  • This paper addresses the concept of the representative mean position, which was devised to improve the numerical efficiency of a time domain fatigue analysis of a mooring chain. To investigate the influence of an artificial offset of the floater on the fatigue of the mooring chain, a parametric study was performed on the moored FPSO under various combinations of offsets and environmental conditions. Tension time histories were calculated using the de-coupled analysis method, and fatigue damages were calculated to determine the influence of the offset. The parametric study was extended to a more realistic case to determine the actual effect of the representative mean position, where a comparison was made between the two different analysis results, one using the representative mean position and the other one using the actual mean position. It was confirmed that the application of the representative mean position guaranteed the conservatism of the fatigue damage with the enhanced numerical efficiency in the time domain fatigue analysis.

  • 이 연구(硏究)는 Forest survey시(時) 지상조사(地上調査)와 항공사진(航空寫眞)을 이용(利用)한 조사(調査)와의 비교(比較) 연구(硏究)인데 tone contrast가 여의(如意)치 못한 aerial photo를 인수(人手)했기 때문에 연구(硏究)에 많은 지장(支障)을 가져와 처음의 계획(計劃)대로 추진(推進)하지 못하였다. 조사방법(調査方法)은 aerial photo를 이용(利用)했을 때 가장 편리(便利)하였고 이때 적용(適用)한 방법(方法)은 지상(地上)과 병용(併用)시킨 조사방법(調査方法)이다. 임상도작성(林相圖作成)에 Radial line plotter를 사용(使用)했는데 그 결과(結果)는 대단(大端)히 좋았다. 즉(即) compass surveying에 의(依)하여 현지(現地) check한 결과(結果)와는 none significant였다. 앞으로는 double sampling에 대(對)한 연구(硏究)가 더 필요(必要)할 것으로 생각된다. 따라서 이에 대(對)한 연구(硏究)를 계획(計劃)하여 추진(推進)할 생각이다.

대용량 GPS 궤적 데이터를 위한 효율적인 클러스터링 (An Efficient Clustering Algorithm for Massive GPS Trajectory Data)

  • 도로지도 생성은 인공위성 촬영이나 현장실사를 기반으로 한다. 그리하여 도로지도를 생성하고 수정하는데 많은 시간과 비용이 든다. 이러한 이유로 차량 GPS 데이터를 이용해 도로지도를 생성하는 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 도로지도 생성 연구에서 가장 중요한 문제는 주도로와 같은 대표궤적을 추출하는 것이다. 대표궤적 추출을 수행할 때에는 시작과 끝이 비슷한 궤적데이터들의 집합을 전제로 하여 궤적을 추출한다. 따라서 대표궤적을 추출하기에 앞서 전처리 과정으로 궤적 클러스터링 작업이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제를 해결하기 위해 하나의 영역을 일정한 격자로 분할하고, Sweep Line 알고리즘을 응용해 유사궤적들을 탐색한다. 마지막으로 프레쉐거리를 이용하여 궤적 간 유사도를 계산하였다. 실제로 서울의 강남구 지역에 있는 500대의 차량 GPS 궤적을 가지고 클러스터링 작업을 수행하였다. 또한, 실험을 통하여 격자분할 접근방식의 빠른 수행시간과 안정성을 보였다.

인라인 주입방식의 최초응집이 케이크 저항에 미치는 영향 (Effect of cake resistance by first-aggregation of in-line injection system)

  • Cake resistance is influenced by floc size deposited on membrane surface. Enlarging floc size can reduce cake resistance. The small particles are enlarged by coagulation and flocculation process in conventional mixing tank at membrane filtration system. Fully-grown flocs for reducing the cake resistance, however, are ruptured while passing through a pump. In light of this fact, this study aims to experimentally look at the reaggregation phenomenon of mixing system. In addition, reaggregation phenomenon of mixing system is compared with first-aggregation of in-line injection system in which coagulant is injected just before a pump. These results suggest that first-aggregation of in-line injection system is better than reaggregation of mixing system for G-value above $3100sec^{-1}$. Since G-value in pipe of actual membrane filtration system are usually larger than $3100sec^{-1}$. The performance of in-line injection system is expected to be better than the conventional mixing tank system.

수치지적도화를 위한 항공사진측량의 정확도 분석 (Accuracy Analysis of Aerial Photogrammetry for Digital Cadastral Map)

  • Recently, many studies have been conducted to utilize the digital aerial photogrammetry method in the field of cadastral surveying. The representative models of digital cameras currently used for aerial photogrammetry are classified into line-type and convex-type cameras, so the representative models were selected and analyzed. The purpose of this study was to analyze whether the accuracy suggested by the cadastral survey enforcement rules was satisfied by comparing the orthogonal and ortho image performance. As a result, there were some representative false points that exceeded the acceptable range, but the results extracted from most of the images were shown to satisfy the acceptable range. Therefore, it can be said that the application of digital aerial photogrammetry to the cadastral field in the technical aspect has sufficient potential.

  • In this paper, the design method of fuzzy neural network(FNN) controller using indirect adaptive control technique is presented for controlling chaotic nonlinear systems. Firstly, the fuzzy model identified with a FNN in off-line process. Secondly, the trained fuzzy model tunes adaptively the control rules of the FNN controller in on-line process. In order to evaluate the proposed control method, Indirect adaptive control method is applied to the representative continuous-time chaotic nonlinear systems, that is, the Duffing system and the Lorenz system. Simulations are done to verify the effectivencess of controller.

한국인 하악골 전돌증 환자의 악교정수술을 위한 ENaP(Esthetic NaP)선의 유효성에 관한 연구 (EFFICACY OF ENaP(ESTHETIC NaP)-LINE FOR ORTHOGNATHIC SURGERY OF KOREAN MANDIBULAR PROGNATHISM)

  • As the most of dentofacial deformity patients indicated to orthognathic surgery have strong desire for esthetic improvement as well as functional improvement, ideal esthetic evaluation should be made at surgical prediction. Lateral cephalographs has been commonly used for surgical prediction, however, remarkable discrepancy between esthetic viewpoint by simple looking and analysis on lateral cephalographs often found on evaluation of sagittal position of the upper and lower jaws especially in cases of mandibular prognathism of Koreans. In these cases, we have been employed Esthetic NaP(ENaP)-line for corrective evaluation and ideal surgical prediction on lateral cephalographs, but the efficacy of ENaP-line has not been evaluated. This is a study on efficacy of ENaP-line for orthognathic surgery of Korean mandibular prognathism. 170 Korean patients who had been diagnosed as mandibular prognathism and planned for orthognathic surgery at Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, College of Dentistry, Yonsei University during last 10 years are studied. The obtained results are as followings; among 170 patients of mandibular prognathism, 132 patients(77.6%) had not discrepancy in evaluation of sagittal position of the maxilla between cephalometric and esthetic evaluation(they are classified as Group I), however, 38 patients(22.4%) had definite discrepancy(they are classified as Group II). ENaP-line was employed in all cephalometric analysis of Group II. The proportions of male and female were similar in both Groups. Sixteen vertical reference lines perpendicular to 16 horizontal reference lines were obtained as followings; Each of the representative degree of ${\angle}SN/AFH$, ${\angle}SN/CFH$ and ${\angle}AFH/CFH$ obtained at Group I was applied to SN plane, AFH plane and CFH plane of Group II each other, and so 16 horizontal reference lines could be obtained individually according to each of the applied degree to each plane. And then their reliability to coincide with ENaP-line of Group II was evaluated. A vertical reference line perpendicular to a horizontal line made by application of the representative degree of ${\angle}$AFH/CFH in Group I to AFH line in Group II had the most highest coincidence with ENaP-line of Group II, however, its agreement was 42% in male and 47% in female. 철도차량의 속도향상시 진동 승차감에 대한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on Vibration Ride Comfort of a Railway train to increase the Service Speed)

  • To provide faster service and to relief the road traffic jam, the increase of service speed of conventional railway has been intensively considered. In this study, we measured and analyzed the vibration ride comfort of Saemaeul Train to evaluate the feasibility of 5km/h speed-up in curves and l0km/h speed-up on straight tracks. Four main lines, such as Honam, Kyungboo, ]anghang, Kyungjeon were chosen as representative lines for speed-up feasibility study. The increase of mean ride comfort index in case of speed-up is 0.5-2㏈. The mean ride comfort index of vertical direction in case of speed-up is 107 ∼110 ㏈ for Honam line, 104 ∼112 ㏈ for Kyungboo line, 108∼112 ㏈ for Janghang line and 105∼108 ㏈ for Kyungjeon line. Through this study, we found that the Saemaul Express has slight margin to increase the service speed from the view point of vibration ride comfort.

전후동력 새마을호 열차의 속도향상 시 승차감에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on Ride Comfort of a Push-Pull Seamaeul Train in Case of Speed-up)

  • The speed-up of conventional trains is considered as one of the efficient methods to relieve traffic jam and to increase the capacity of transportation. In this study, we measured and analyzed the ride comfort of a push-pull Saemaeul Train with speed-up of 5km/h in curves and 10km/h on straight tracks as compared with present operation speed of the push-pull Saemaeul Trains. Four main lines-Honam, Kyungboo, Janghang, Kyungjeon- were chosen as representative lines for speed-up feasibility study. The increase of mean ride comfort index in case of speed-up is 0.5-2㏈. The mean ride comfort index of vertical direction in case of speed-up is 107-110㏈ for Honam line, 104-112㏈ for Kyungboo line, 108-112㏈ for Janghang line and 105-108㏈ for Kyungjeon line, which are rather high as compared with German trains of similar grade with maximum vehicle speed of 160km/h.

밀림곡관 맞대기 용접부의 잔류응력 특성 평가 (Evaluation of Welding Residual Stress Characteristics of a Surge Line Elbow)

  • Even though a lot of efforts have been devoted to evaluate welding residual stress characteristics of nuclear components, from the view point of accuracy, there are still some arguments in application of engineering estimation schemes. In this paper, three-dimensional finite element analyses (FEA) were carried out to predict residual stress distributions in butt welds of a typical surge line piping. Mesh optimization was conducted and subsequent analysis results such as the axial and hoop stress components along the weld center line and inner wall. Moreover, alternative evaluation was conducted by using three representative equations and their results were compared to those of FEA. Thereby, key parameters affecting to temperature profiles and residual stress distributions were derived as well as an optimum engineering estimation scheme was recommended.
