Recently, many biometrics-based user authentication schemes for telecare medicine information systems (TMIS) have been proposed to improve the security problems in user authentication system. In 2014, Mishra et al. proposed an improvement of Awasthi-Srivastava's biometric based authentication for TMIS which is secure against the various attacks and provide mutual authentication, efficient password change. In this paper, we discuss the security of Mishra et al.'s authentication scheme, and we have shown that Mishra et al.'s authentication scheme is still insecure against the various attacks. Also, we proposed the improved scheme to remove these security problems of Mishra et al.'s authentication scheme, even if the secret information stored in the smart card is revealed. As a result, we can see that the improved biometric based authentication scheme is secure against the insider attack, the password guessing attack, the user impersonation attack, the server masquerading attack and provides mutual authentication between the user and the telecare system.

1984년 3월 영남대학교 의과대학 부속병원 산부인과에 자궁외 임신 진단하에 입원하여 응급 개복수술을 시행한 환자에서 일측 자궁부속기 제거술 후 발생한 원발성으로 의심되는 초기 복강 임신 1예를 경험하였기에 문헌고찰과 함께 보고 하였다.

As the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic continues, doctors face many difficulties in managing patients with respiratory allergies. As research continues, much new knowledge has emerged about the link between COVID-19 infection and respiratory allergies. Studies to date have shown that there is no significant increase in the risk of COVID-19 infection in patients with respiratory allergies. However, in patients undergoing treatment for moderate to severe asthma or allergic rhinitis, more severe clinical manifestations, increased hospitalization period, and increased mortality may occur, so patients need to be managed with more care. In addition to personal efforts, social consideration should be accompanied to prevent deterioration in patients' quality of life with respiratory allergies due to COVID-19. Lastly, as clinical doctors, we should treat patients with respiratory allergies to protect ourselves appropriately by actively utilizing remote medical treatment and minimizing tests that generate droplets. Also, by appropriately educating patients and continuing drug treatment, efforts should be made to ensure that patients receive the best treatment even in a pandemic situation.

In this paper, we reviewed the ACR-NEMA Digital Imaging and Communications in Medicine (DICOM) standard that was developed for medical imaging equipments interconnected on the standard networks. We also built a simple system that can transmit JPEG compressed DICOM file on network environment and display this medical image on remote-machine.

본 연구에서는 환자와 한의사, 방사선 전문의 간에 초고속 통신망을 이용하여 원격으로 환자의 질환 상태를 파악하고 이에 따른 처방전을 내릴 수 있도록 하는 한방 원격 검진 시스템에서 환자의 X-ray 사진, CT 사진 등의 방사선 이미지들을 DICOM 프로토콜에 의거하여 저장하고 검색할 수 있도록 해주는 시스템을 구현하였다. 본 연구에서는 이미지 처리 및 관리 모듈을 Java 언어를 이용하여 구현함으로써 방사선 전문의와 한의사들이 컴퓨터의 기종에 관계없이 웹브러우저를 사용하여 환자의 X-ray나 CT 등의 방사선 사진을 살펴볼 수 있도록 하였다.

Paraneoplastic neurologic syndrome is a group of assorted disorders resulting from damage to the nervous system in cancer, remote from primary site, and not related to metastasis, infection, or metabolic disorder associated with cancer. Patient with small cell lung cancer sometimes shows various neurological syndromes, but patient with non-small cell lung cancer rarely shows neurologic syndromes and few antineuronal antibodies have been found. Here, we report a case of 53-year-old male patient who developed ptosis and extraocular muscular limitation of left eye due to third and forth cranial nerve palsy in non-small cell lung cancer without brain metastasis. These neurologic symptoms improved after lobectomy without any other treatment immunotherapy.

This study conducted a questionnaire for students of Pusan National University Graduate School of Korean Medicine who practiced using the Oriental Medicine Diagnosis System (ODS). From the questionnaire, this study investigated current state of application and perception of AI in Korean Medicine and explored the direction of ODS improvement and utilization. The survey questions consisted of six questions examining the satisfaction of the diagnostic expert system, five questions evaluating the availability of the diagnostic expert system, and six questions to predict the impact of AI on the Korean medicine community. The survey analysis showed high satisfaction with practice using ODS. On the other hand, the possibility of using ODS, especially in clinical use, was evaluated as relatively low compared to the satisfaction of the practice. Therefore, the overall impact of AI on the Korean medical community is not expected to be large. Although there are difficulties in standardization of clinical data due to the academic characteristics of Korean medicine, it is necessary to continue attempts to apply AI. By actively introducing educational tools using the latest AI techniques to the diagnosis experience and doctor-patient role in a practice, students will be able to increase their satisfaction with their practice and respond appropriately to the state-of-the-art medical environment.

저자들은 두경부암의 포괄적인 치료의 일부로서 외부 방사선 조사와 고선량율 경관조사를 시행하여 12명중 9명에서 완전 관해를 얻었으며, 치료중이나 치료후 경관조사와 직접 관련된 급성 부작용이나 합병중의 발생이 없었다. 그러나 대상환자가 적고 추적기간이 짧은관계로 생존율의 향상은 추측하기 어려우나 완전 관해를 얻은 환자는 장기간 무병 상태로 추적되고 있어서 외부방사선 조사와 경관 조사는 두경부암 치료에 큰 역할을 하리라 기대된다.
