본 연구는 습지 방문객의 효과적인 관리를 위해 그들의 생태의식과 욕구구조의 연관성 규명을 목적으로 시작하였다. 이를 위해 '습지방문객의 생태의식과 이용욕구수준의 파악', '방문객의 인구통계학적 특성이 생태의식에 미치는 효과', '생태의식과 이용욕구와의 연관성 규명'을 연구문제로 설정하였다. 실증분석은 우포늪 방문객 대상의 설문조사로 진행하였다. 방문객의 생태의식은 던랩(Dunlap)의 15개 NEP 척도로 측정하였고, 이용욕구는 매슬로우(Maslow)의 7단계 욕구를 활용했다. 우포늪에서 3일간 조사한 끝에 총 228부의 설문지를 확보하여 본 분석에 사용하였다. 연구 결과, 방문객들의 생태의식과 이용욕구는 보통 이상의 높은 수준이었다. 생태의식에서는 생태위기 가능성과 반인간주의에 대한 반응이 높았다. 이용욕구에서는 심미적 욕구가 가장 높았고, 그 다음은 인지적 욕구였다. 자아실현욕구와 자존의 욕구는 가장 낮았는데, 이 둘을 제외하면 대체로 욕구 위계가 높을수록 높은 반응을 보였다. 생태의식과 이용욕구는 상관성 분석 결과, 부(-)적 상관과 정(+)적 상관이 섞여 있었으나, 정적 상관의 비율이 3배 이상 높았다. 상관계수도 정적 상관계수가 더 높게 나타나, 생태의식과 이용욕구는 낮은 수준의 정적 상관관계 중심으로 형성되어 있다고 볼 수 있다. 방문객의 생태의식에 따라 상중하의 3개 집단으로 분류하여 이용욕구를 비교 분석한 결과는 생태의식이 높을수록 이용 욕구도 높게 나타났다. 연구 결과, 습지 방문객의 생태의식은 보통 이상의 높은 수준인데, 향후 지속적인 증가가 예상되었다. 따라서 이용욕구 또한 계속 높아질 것이며, 특히 심미적 욕구와 인지적 욕구가 커질 것으로 예상된다. 따라서, 습지의 시각적 자원을 활용한 경관관리가 중요함을 알 수 있다. 아울러 방문객의 지적 욕구를 채워줄 수 있는 컨텐츠가 지속적으로 제공되어야 할 것으로 판단된다.

Symmerge is a stable minimum storage algorithm for merging that needs $O(mlog\frac{n}{m})$ element comparisons, where m and n are the sizes of the input sequences with m ${\leqq}$ n. According to the lower bound for merging, the algorithm is asymptotically optimal regarding the number of comparisons. The objective of this paper is to consider the relationship between m and n for the spanning case with the recursion level m-1.

CORBA has been a popular middleware, but recently Web Services has been emerging as a promising web middleware since it uses Internet established standards such as URL, HTTP, XML, and etc. CORBA uses IDL for describing CORBA object interface and Web Services uses WSDL for its description. Thus, in order to port or integrate CORBA objects into Web Services, one needs to understand the relationship between CORBA IDL and WSDL. In this paper, we analyze IDL and WSDL, and compare between two. It turns out that there exists a direct mapping between two, and that understanding operational environments and logic of two technologies is much more important in converting or integrating CORBA objects into Web services successfully.

The conventional management which had economic requirement such as productivity, competition, customer satisfaction, and return needs the environmental management in order to meet a change of the external situation such as the environmental requirement (such as resources reduction, pollution prevention, and waste reduction). However, there have been a few studies which try to investigate internal factor and to regard external factors as negative ones. This paper proposes the external factors are significant to the performance. Several hypotheses were developed regarding the relationships. Based on the collected data from 126 firms, the hypotheses were analyed with SPSS.

This paper aims to define country risk, review previous literature, and provide future direction for further research. Country risk is found to be analyzed in various ways in export, foreign direct investment and international finance, and thus analysis of the risk needs an integrated perspective and individual one as well. Systematic analysis, in particular, concentrating on relationship and structure within several risk is required in order to understand the country risk academically and to manage it practically.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the importance of mental capacity and to see whether it can be a barometer to predict childrne's cognitive development. The instruments used were Pictoral Test of Intelligence to select homogeneous samples, Cucui Scale for their M-power and Conservation Test. The results showed that M-power develops as age increases, and it can be a strong variable to predict their cognitive development. It has been demonstrated that capacity increases developmentally but whether this reflects changes in capacity perse, or in the efficient use of that capacity is a debatable issue. More study needs to be repeated for this matter.

Our study focus on the investigations of the effect of IPRs, the relationship Digital TV with MPEG-2, and the MPEG LA stands. MPEG LA, which build up the strong patent pool, manage to IPRs system of MPEG-2. And we examine the influence of the effect for the. patent of Digital TV and IPRs based on MPEG LA Licensing agreement. Results of this study shows that to be valuable the IPRs of MPEG-2 related to Digital TV, Korea needs the strategies for effective IPRs negotiations and technical accumulation through offensive patent management, and so on.

An educational program for parent caregiving families has been developed with a view to help mitigate burdens of those who provide caring services for their aged parents and to meet the needs of both the caregiving middle-aged daughter-in-law and the parent. The program has been applied to a small group of people who at least one living aged parent. The effectiveness of the program has been evaluated by taking pre- and posttests. The result of the tests strongly suggest that the program has been effective in improving participatns' knowledge on aging process, confict solving and relationship with parent.

This study is an empirical research to identify difference of education training satisfaction by demographic variables, and to investigate the influence of education training satisfaction on the member's organizational commitment in general hospitals. As a result of ANOVA, t-test based on the data of 325 employees in 7 general hospitals in Korea, education training satisfaction has a significant difference by a construct and demographic variables. Education training satisfaction has a significant difference by a construct such as education training system, education training administration and education training practice. Education training satisfaction has a significant difference by occupation, career, scholarship. Education training satisfaction has a partly significant difference by status, age. But it has not a significant difference by sex distinction. Satisfaction of education training system and education training practice has a significantly positive relationship with organizational commitment. But Satisfaction of education training administration has a partly positive relationship with organizational commitment. By these results, the advanced education training structure needs to equipped in order to elevate management performance in general hospitals.

The number of business incubator (BI), introduced in Korea in the early 90's, has grown rapidly in the last 10 years, reaching 342 by 2002. Most of the incubator was supported financially by the Small and Medium Business Administration (SMBA), and 83% of them are run by college or university. To develop successful plans for college business incubator, we studied the relationship between a college incubator and its tenants through a systematic questionnaire, and compared royalty systems of four college BI's. It was found out that the tenants wants more flexible advisor system and closer relationship with the professors to solve the technical difficulties. The royalty system is important for BI's to survive without the financial assistance from the government, but the royalty systems of the four college BI's studied in this report have some practical shortcomings and needs amendments.
