여행사간 B2B 거래공정성이 가맹여행사의 관계지향성과 성과에 미치는 영향 (Effects of B2B Transaction fairness Between Travel Agencies on Travel Franchisee's Relationship-orientation and Performance)

  • 최근 확대되고 있는 여행사간 B2B2C 거래에 있어서, 여행사간 힘의 불균형으로 인하여 가맹점은 도매여행사와의 거래에 있어 거래공정성의 영향을 받고 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 여행업의 발전적 방향을 제시하기 위하여, 여행사간 거래공정성이 가맹여행사의 관계지향성과 성과에 미치는 영향을 검증하기 위하여 실증분석을 실시하였다. 여행사간 B2B 거래에 있어 가맹여행사의 재무, 비재무적 성과에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 것은 관계지향성이며, 관계지향성에 가장 큰 영향을 미치는 거래여행사의 공정성은 상호작용공정성과 절차공정성 순으로 나타났다. 따라서 여행사간 장기적인 관계지향성에 영향을 미치는 상호작용공정성과 절차공정성의 구성요소인 거래여행사 직원들의 정확한 정보제공 능력과 가맹여행사에 대한 긴밀한 유대관계 유지 능력이 가장 중요한 요인임을 반영하여 상호 win-win할 수 있는 파트너십을 유지하는 것이 중요하다 하겠다.

외식프랜차이즈 가맹본부 지원서비스와 성과간에 관계공정성의 매개효과 (Mediating Effects of Relationship Fairness Between Franchisor's Support Service and Performance in Food Service Franchise)

  • Purpose - This paper aims to investigate the mediating effects of relationship fairness factors between franchisor's support services and performance(re-contract intention) in food service franchise. More specifically, fairness was measured into distributive, procedure, interaction, and information, franchisor's support service was divided into pre-start support services (initial support services) and post-start support services (continued support services), and performance (re-contract intent) was measured using 3 items such as re-contract, contract extension, and recommendation. Research design, data, and methodology - The population for the survey is the head of franchises in the metropolitan area (Seoul/Gyeonggi), which operates a restaurant franchise, and samples included a wide range of overseas/domestic brands and regions. The survey was conducted from August 1 to September 30, 2018 through the survey agency. The survey was conducted together with a telephone interview and a direct visit by the investigator. A total of 205 questionnaires were collected and retrieved, 4 questionaires containing missing information were excluded and 201 responses were used for analysis. Results - The results shows that franchisor's initial support services have significant positive effects on procedural, interpersonal, and informational relationship fairness, and continuous support services have significant positive effects on distributive, procedural, interpersonal, and informational relationship fairness. This study also shows that informational and procedural fairness have significant positive effects on performance(re-contract intention). Finally, continuous services a significant positive effect on performance(re-contract intention). Conclusions - The results show that franchisor make a manual, and should improve fairness through regular investigation whether support services was executed as promised in the manual after franchisee operation. In addition, information fairness and procedural fairness have been shown to increase performance(re-contract intention). These results mean that the franchisor's headquarters should provide product and service support for the merchant in accordance with the manual and management policy to reduce asymmetry in information and improve procedural fairness to enhance performance(re-contract intention).

금융시장에서 영업사원의 지각된 평가 공정성과 직무성과 간의 구조적 관계 (Structural Relationship between Salesperson's Perceived Evaluation Fairness and Job Performance in the Financial Market)

  • Purpose - Salesperson perceptions of the fairness and accuracy of a performance evaluation system were examined by managerial and professional employees of large organization. The performance evaluation process is central to many personal decisions such as attitude for job and sales performance. This study investigates the relationship between perceived evaluation fairness, job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and sales performance. The main purpose of this study is to develop and empirically test a comprehensive model of salespersons' perceived evaluation fairness on sales performance. For this purpose, we identified the structural relationship between perceived evaluation fairness, job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and sales performance. Also we investigate the mediating effects on job satisfaction and organizational commitment between perceived evaluation fairness and sales performance. Research design, data, and methodology - To empirically test these relationships, data were collected by in-depth interviews from sales managers and questionnaire surveys from 300 salespersons who work for sales area (credit card company, insurance company). Demographically, the overall sample was 91.6% female, 77.9% 30s and 40s, and 34% college educated, with an average tenure with their present organizations of 4 years. The questionnaire was composed of total 20 items dealing with frequency, quality, and consequences of perceived evaluation fairness, job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and sales performance. To test the research hypotheses, collected data analyzed by confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) and structure equation model (SEM). Results - Through extensive and rigorous literature review process of related literature(Perceived evaluation fairness, Job satisfaction, Organizational commitment, Sales performance), research model and research hypothesis was set up. This study obtains the following research results. First, perceived evaluation fairness has a positive effect on job satisfaction, whereas the effects of perceived evaluation fairness on organizational commitment and sales performance did not show statistically significant result. Second, job satisfaction and organizational commitment have complete mediating roles to the relationship between perceived evaluation fairness and organizational commitment, and relationship between perceived evaluation fairness and sales performance. Conclusions - Based on the results, salespersons' perceived evaluation fairness is one of the key independent variable for making high job satisfaction, organizational commitment, and sales performance. Finally the theoretical, managerial implication and research limitations are mentioned in the discussion.

  • The current advance of IT and the e-commerce triggers the wide practice of dynamic pricing in all industries although the price discrimination has been very cautiously applied in the limited areas in the past. The price discrimination which offers different prices for each customer depending on their preference and buying behaviors has recently gained attention as it could provide superior benefits to sellers. The wide adoption of price discrimination, on the other hand, is reported to face buyer resistances and complaints. Our limited understanding on the perception of price fairness, which we think is key concept in the price discrimination on the Internet-enabled transactions, motives us to investigate factors that affect the perception of price fairness. This study focuses on illusion of control and lateral customer relationship to investigate their effects on price fairness in online auction and group purchase context. By conducting laboratory experiments, our study demonstrates that customers' perception on illusion of control in price determination and advantageous lateral customer relationship significantly affect price fairness perception in both online auction and group purchase environment. The findings are expected to provide researchers and managers with useful insights to develop better pricing strategies and design effective dynamic pricing mechanisms.

외식업체 프랜차이즈 가맹점의 공정성지각이 관계의 질에 미치는 영향 연구 (A Study on the Effect of the Fairness of Franchisee on Relationship Quality in Food Service Industry)

  • 본 연구에서는 외식 프랜차이즈 가맹본부와 가맹점간의 장기적인 관계형성을 통해 경쟁력을 증진시키기 위한 방안으로 공정성에 대한 지각이 상호관계의 질에 미치는 영향을 분석하고자 하였다. 실증분석 결과, 프랜차이즈 본부의 공정성에 대해 긍정적으로 인식할수록 상호관계의 질에 긍정적 영향을 미쳤다. 공정성의 두 개념인 분배공정성과 절차공정성 모두 긍정적으로 지각할수록 가맹본부에 대한 신뢰와 만족은 높게 나타났으며, 갈등은 적게 나타났다. 분배공정성과 절차공정성 모두 유의한 결과를 나타내기도 했지만, 특히 분배공정성보다는 절차공정성이 가맹본부에 대한 신뢰와 만족에 더 큰 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 프랜차이즈 가맹본부와 가맹점간의 상호관계의 질은 장기적인 결속에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 즉, 본부에 대한 신뢰와 만족이 높고, 갈등이 적을수록 본부와 보다 상호협력적인 가맹점이 되는 것이다. 상호관계의 질을 구성하는 요인 중 장기적인 결속에 가장 큰 영향을 나타내는 것은 신뢰로 나타났다. 이 결과는 외식 프랜차이즈의 가맹본부와 가맹점의 적절한 관계개발 전략을 수립하는데 시사점을 줄 수 있다. 첫째, 외식 프랜차이즈 본부의 실무담당자들은 가맹점과의 상호관계의 질을 높이기 위해 본부의 절차적인 공정성에 대한 가맹점의 지각을 긍정적인 방향으로 유도해야 할 것이다. 둘째, 가맹본부와 가맹점간의 장기적인 관계 형성을 위한 전략 대안으로는 가맹본부에 대한 신뢰형성을 우선적으로 제고해야 할 것이다.

The Relationship between Structural Compensation and Organizational Effectiveness of Distribution Industry

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify the maximum organizational effectiveness of compensation systems in the distribution industry. It is to identify the relationship between structural compensation and organizational effectiveness. It also aims to clarify whether distributive justice plays as a controlling variable between two variables. Research design, data and methodology: This study was conducted on distribution industry employees. The questionnaire was collected through self-subscription. A total of 209 questionnaires were collected during the month of April 2021, of which 203 were used as valid samples. Results: Structural compensation have been shown to have a positive impact on two sub-factors of organizational effectiveness. In the verification of the controlling effect of distributive justice, perceived fairness has a control effect on the relationship between extrinsic compensation and organizational effectiveness but it does not show a controlling effect on the relationship between intrinsic compensation and organizational effectiveness. Conclusions: Structural compensation has a positive effect on organizational effectiveness. The distribution industry should aware of the compensation and the perceived fairness. The fairness of distribution plays a role in identifying the recognition of compensation and organizational feasibility, identifying motivations of employees, and mediating proper strategies to enhance job satisfaction.

  • Purpose: This study analyzed the effects of employees' perception of fairness and organizational commitment on productive behavior in firms. In addition, we analyzed how the employment patterns(full-time vs part-time) of employees adjust the relationship of each variable. Methods: In order to carry out the research, we surveyed about 400 people working in domestic large corporations and global corporations and analyzed them empirically Results: According to the empirical analysis, Fairness perception has a positive (+) effect on organizational commitment and productive behavior, and organizational commitment has a positive (+) effect on employee's productive behavior. In particular, the relationship between fairness perception and organizational commitment and productive behavior varies according to the employee's employment pattern(full-time vs part-time). Conclusion: this study is to increase the organizational commitment of employees in the process of organizational socialization, to ensure fairness in procedures, distribution and interactions to drive productive behavior, Suggesting that employees should be provided motivation and welfare benefits without discrimination.

항공사의 서비스공정성과 서비스품질이 재이용의도에 미치는 영향 -가치지향성의 조절효과를 중심으로- (The Effects of Service Fairness Service and Service Quality on Airline Reuse Intention -Moderating Effect of Value-Orientation -)

  • 본 연구는 국내 항공사의 서비스공정성, 서비스품질, 재이용의도 간의 구조적 인과관계를 확인하고, 서비스공정성이 서비스품질에 미치는 영향에 있어서 서비스가치의 조절효과를 검증하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 분석결과 첫째, 항공사 서비스공정성의 세 가지 요인 모두 서비스품질에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 서비스공정성 요인 중 분배공정성과 상호작용성은 재이용의도에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 반면 상호작용공정성은 재이용의도에 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 항공사 서비스품질은 재이용의도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 서비스공정성과 서비스품질의 관계에서 가치지향성의 조절효과가 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구는 기존의 선행연구들의 모형을 확장하여 실증분석을 통한 검증을 하는데 의미를 두고 있고 항공 산업의 발전과 전략수립을 위한 기초적이고 실용적인 자료로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

자기통제, 공정함, 행복 간 구조적 관계에 관한 융합연구 (Convergence Study on The Structural Relation among Self control, Fairness, and Happiness)

  • 본 연구는 대학생의 자기통제와 공정함 및 행복 간 구조적 관계를 알아보기 위한 융합연구이다. 이를 위해 대학생 275명(남:107명, 여:168명)명을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 먼저 자기통제와 공정함, 행복 설문지를 이용하여 자료를 조사하였고, 선행연구에 따라 연구모형을 설정하였다. 연구방법은 상관분석, 탐색적 요인분석, 구조방정식 모델 분석을 이용하였다. 연구 결과, 자기통제는 공정함을 매개로 행복에 직간접 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타는데, 공정함과 행복에 정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 자기통제가 공정함에 직접 영향을 미치고, 공정함을 매개로 대학생의 행복에 직간접 영향을 미치는 요인인 것으로 이해할 수 있다. 이는 자기통제와 공정함이 대학생의 행복에 있어 교육적, 심리사회적 개입을 제공할 때 중요한 요소로 작용할 수 있음을 시사하는 것이다.

  • The most important concern in the internet service organizations in competitive market circumstances is to focus on formation and maintenance of continuous relationship with customers. The purpose of this study is to verify the effect of perception of the fairness - procedural fairness for recovery, interactional fairness, fairness for reward on customer's satisfaction and trust, behavior when the internet service company failed to service such as disclosure of personal information. This study aims to apply justice theories to service recovery. As a result, first, the customer's perceived justice had a significant effect on the customer satisfaction and trust in service recovery. Second, the customer's satisfaction positive effect on trust. Third, customer's satisfaction formed by service recovery had a effect on the customer's behavior such as continuous usage intention. Therefore, this study was reveal how the extent of justice perception felt by customers in the service recovery process, causes positive causation relationship which affect customer behavior intention.
