Cross regulation is a key technical issue of single-inductor multiple-output (SIMO) DC-DC converters. This paper investigates the cross regulation in single-inductor dual-output (SIDO) Buck converters with continuous conduction mode (CCM) operation. The expressions of the DC voltage gain, control to the output transfer function, cross regulation transfer function, cross coupled transfer function and impedance transfer function of the converter are presented by the time averaging equivalent circuit approach. A small signal model of a SIDO CCM Buck converter is built to analyze this cross regulation. The laws of cross regulation with respect to various load conditions are investigated. Simulation and experiment results verify the theoretical analysis. This study will be helpful for converter design to reduce the cross regulation. In addition, a control strategy to reduce cross regulation is performed.
We study emotion regulation in a distant CABLe (Collaborative Argumentation Based-Learning) setting at university. We analyze how students achieve the group task of synthesizing the literature on a topic through scientific argumentation on the institutional Moodle's forum. Distinguishing anticipatory from reactive emotional regulation shows how essential it is to establish and maintain a constructive working climate in order to make the best out of disagreement both on social and cognitive planes. We operationalize the analysis of anticipatory emotional regulation through an analytical grid applied to the data of two groups of students facing similar disagreement. Thanks to sharp anticipatory regulation, group 1 solved the conflict both on the social and the cognitive plane, while group 2 had to call out for external regulation by the teacher, stuck in a cyclically resurfacing dispute. While the institutional digital environment did afford anticipatory emotional regulation, reactive emotional regulation rather occurred through complementary informal and synchronous communication tools. Based on these qualitative case studies, we draw recommendations for fostering distant CABLe at university.
This study examines the relationship among children's smart device immersion tendency, children's self-regulation, and pro-social behavior as well as investigates the mediating effect of self-regulation between children's smart device immersion tendency and pro-social behavior. Participants were composed of 263 4-year-old children attending kindergarten in Incheon and Gyeonggi province. Data were analyzed by means of Pearson's correlation coefficients in SPSS, the structural equation model and bootstrapping in AMOS. The results are as follows. First, there is a statistically meaningful relationship among children's smart device immersion tendency, self-regulation, and pro-social behavior. There is a negative correlation between children's smart device immersion tendency and children's self-regulation as well as pro-social behavior; however, there is positive relationship between children's self-regulation and pro-social behavior. Second, children's smart device immersion tendency had a direct effect on children's self-regulation. In addition, children's self-regulation indicated a direct effect on children's pro-social behavior. Third, children's self-regulation was found sufficient to mediate the relationship between children's smart device immersion tendency and pro-social behavior. The results indicate that the effort to increase children's self-regulation may decrease the negative effect toward children's pro-social behavior caused by smart device immersion tendencies.
There are a lot of articles about government trust, but there are very few researches about regulation trust. So, this study analyzes the influence factors on regulation trust, specially focuses on the mediated effect of government trust. This study surveys on 1,000 people, and the result shows that the influence factors on regulation trust are a academic ability, the benefit of regulation, the specialty of regulation, the fairness of regulation, and necessity of government. And there are the mediated effect of government trust on regulation trust. Therefore, if the government want to increase the execution and accommodation of regulation, then it is necessary to get the regulation trust. And to get the regulation trust, it is necessary to increase the government trust besides the specialty and the fairness of regulation.

The purpose of this study was to test the mediated effects of emotional regulation in the relations between maternal parenting and children's adaptation to school life of elementary school students. Three-hundred Seven elementary school students completed the maternal parenting scale, the emotional regulation scale, and the adaptation to school life scale. In order to find to identify how maternal parenting, emotional regulation were related with their adaptation to school life, Pearson correlation coefficients were used in the computation. To examine the effects of maternal parenting, emotional regulation on adaptation to school life, multiple regression analyses were conducted. To examine whether emotional regulation as a mediating variable in the process that maternal parenting is influencing children's adaptation to school life, hierarchical regression analyses were performed. The results of this study were summarized as follows. First, the analysis of the relationship of maternal parenting, emotional regulation with adaptation to school life shows that there is a significant positive correlation between maternal parenting, emotional regulation and adaptation to school life. Second, in the multiple regression analysis with maternal parenting and emotional regulation as a predictor and adaptation to school life as an outcome variable it has been shown that the emotional regulation were significant in adaptation to school life, but maternal parenting were not significant in adaptation to school life. The higher the emotional regulation is the better can children adapt themselves to school life. Third, the analysis on the mediating effects of emotional regulation in the relationship of maternal parenting and adaptation to school life showed that emotional regulation full mediates the relationship of maternal parenting with adaptation to school life.
This paper uses the horizontal regulation system as the base analysis framework. The study clearly defines the regulatory goals of the followings: the horizontal cross-ownership regulations on program provider (PP) and platform provider, the vertical regulation on cross-ownership between PP and platform operator, the regulation on cross-ownership of program provider by terrestrial broadcasting company, and the regulation on cross-ownership between terrestrial broadcasting company and platform provider. Then, by analyzing the conformity between goals and criteria of regulations and the adequacy of the regulation level according to regulatory purposes, this paper examines the justifiability of each regulation and extracts improvement measures that suite regulatory purposes. This analysis finds following appropriate measures: replacing the horizontal cross-ownership regulation on PP with conduct regulations, such as designating major broadcasting programs or replacing the current criterion of cross-ownership regulation from sales to the audience market share; reshaping the horizontal cross-ownership regulation on platform provider so that system operator (SO), satellite broadcaster and Internet protocol television (IPTV) operator would be applied by the same regulation based on the number of subscribers of pay television services; and discontinuing other cross-ownership regulation. In this way, the study shows that with appropriate regulations on cross-ownership of PP, there would be no need for additional regulation on vertical integration between PP and platform operator. On the other hand, given that the regulation on terrestrial broadcasting cross-ownership of PP could be justified only by regulatory purpose of the protection of the diversity of public opinions, it would be desirable to replace the current criteria of the number of PPs with the criteria of the audience market share. Lastly, the study shows that when platform operator is targeted by the cross-ownership regulation based on the number of subscribers of pay television services, the regulation on cross-ownership between terrestrial broadcasting company and platform provider should be replaced with conduct regulations, such as designating must-offer channels and major broadcasting programs.
We review the research literature on relationship between environmental regulation and industrial development in three aspects of environmental regulation and investment, environmental regulation and efficiency, environmental regulation and trade. Indeed, the linkage between environmental regulation and material consumption of industrial system is absent. Environmental regulation is measured as the expenditure share for industrial pollutants abatement, and effluent charge intensity. Using panel-level data from 31 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions in China, we build correlation models between material consumption and environmental regulation, results show that: (1) there are significant quadratic function relationship between material consumption and environmental regulation. And there is the fact that inflection point exists. (2) On basis of inflection points, we make two remarkable reflections. Firstly, the inflection points are the most important scale to judge reasonability and performance of regulations. Secondly, a Pareto improvement may occur when the regulations achieve a certain target. (3) Both intensities of industrial pollutants abatement expenditure and effluent charge have not yet achieved the expected target in most regions of mainland China at present. And most of regions of material consumption decreasing are distributed in western China. Main reasons lie in the impacts of industrial features as well as the regulations.
The purpose of this study was to examine the relationships between preschooler's sex, effortful control, working memory, and emotion regulation. The moderating effect of sex in the influences of effortful control and working memory on emotion regulation was also investigated. Eighty-eight children from the ages of 3 to 5 years participated in this study. A working memory task of the Korean Wechsler Intelligence Scale for Children IV(K-WISC-IV; Kwak, Oh, & Kim, 2011) was administered to the children. Their parents completed a very short form of the Children's Behavior Questionnaire(Putnam & Rothbart, 2006) and Emotion Regulation Checklist(Shields & Cicchetti, 1997). The results indicated that effortful control significantly predicted emotion regulation. Additionally the moderating effect of sex on the relationship between working memory and emotion regulation was significant. Specifically, the influence of working memory on emotion regulation was significant only in boys, but not in girls. This result suggested that effortful control has an effect on emotion regulation in a stable manner whereas working memory has different effects on the influence of emotion regulation according to sex.
This study examined the effects of perfectionism and cognitive-emotion regulation strategies on the test anxiety. The participants in this study were 423(227 boys, 196 girls) 6th graders recruited from four elementary schools in Seoul, Korea. The participants completed the Test Anxiety Inventory-Korea(Kim, 1991), the Child and Adolescent Perfectionism Scale(CAPS; Flett at al, 2000), and the Cognitive-Emotion Regulation Questionnaire(CERQ; Garnefski, 2001). The results of this study were as follows. First, self-oriented perfectionism and socially prescribed perfectionism were both positively associated with test anxiety. Additionally, the children who used more adaptive cognitive-emotion regulation strategies reported lower test anxiety, whereas the children who used more maladaptive cognitive-emotion regulation strategies reported higher test anxiety. Secondly, there was an interactional effect between self-oriented perfectionism and maladaptive cognitive-emotion regulation strategies on test anxiety. Lastly, socially prescribed perfectionism and cognitive-emotion regulation strategies had a significant effect on children's test anxiety. However, there were no interactional effects observed between socially prescribed perfectionism and cognitive-emotion regulation strategies on test anxiety.
In this paper, we propose an LDO that improves the load regulation change due to the current detection structure. The proposed LDO regulator adds the proposed current detection circuit to the output stage. Thereby to improve the load regulation of the delta value coming in on the output has a voltage value of an improved load Regulation characteristics than conventional LDO regulator. Using the proposed current detection structure, it was possible to improve the output change according to the change of the load current by about 60%. The proposed circuit has been simulated and verified characteristics by using a Spectre, Virtuoso simulation of Cadence.
