As a preliminary study of enter or leaving traffic patterns of the Korea main port, port Management Information System (Port-MIS) data was used to check the volume of vessels entering and leaving the port of Busan, and three consecutive days from each seasons were selected for study. Selected 12-day General Information Center on Maritime Safety & Security (GICOMS) data was also used to analyze the traffic pattern in the main traffic lane of Busan port for dangerous goods carrier. Also, the distance between dangerous goods carriers and Oryukdo breakwater of east breakwater in the main traffic lane was analyzed. Collision probability was estimated using the cumulative probability distribution function of the normal distribution for the maritime traffic safety audit scheme based on the assumption that a ship's trajectory has a normal distribution for a section of the route. However, in case of entry or leaving thorough the Oryukdo breakwater and entry thorough the east breakwater, ship's sailing trajectories were revealed not to follow a normal distribution via regularity testing using a KS-test and SW-test. Especially in the north port, the tendency of the right side of the ship to pass was remarkable. It is desirable to develop a traffic model suitable for the characteristics of the port rather than to apply general traffic theories, and to apply this model to a maritime traffic safety diagnosis, so further research is needed.
The purpose of this study is to verify the medial effect of social support in the process of the effect of working mother compatibility on spouse satisfaction. To that end, 727 employed workers who were kept samples until the 10th year (2017) were analyzed out of the data from the Korea Children's Panel Survey. Data analysis was performed for frequency analysis and regularity verification, and correlation and hierarchical regression were performed. In addition, the three-step method of Baron & Kenny (1986) was used to verify the mediated effect of social support. The results of the verification are as follows. First, the advantages of working mothers' work-in-home compatibility have had a static impact on their spouse satisfaction(ß=.164, t=4.078, p<.01). Second, the conflict between working mothers and their families has shown an amulet (-) impact on their spouse satisfaction(ß=-.134, t=-3.438, p<.05). Third, the partial selling effect of social support was verified in the process of the effect of the factors of conflict and advantages of working mothers on their spouse satisfaction. Based on the above research results, the compatibility of working mothers with working families suggested development and application of programs to enhance spouse satisfaction and social support.
The occurrence of toothache signals the malfunction in oral health, which allows the detection of any abnormal condition in the oral cavity at an early stage to prevent the condition from worsening, and thus can act as a preventive measure. This study has looked into the status of oral health management in relation to toothache through the structured survey administered to 235 college students. Based on the survey results, this study aimed at comparing the toothache occurrence prediction between regression analysis and CART model in order to clarify the relationship between the factors of oral health management habits that contribute to toothache occurrence. According to the result, there was a difference between the present health status and the health status of the past year depending on the presence or non-presence of toothache occurrence (p<0.05). There was a difference in the regularity of meal time depending on the presence non-presence of toothache occurrence from the dietary habits of the research subjects (p<0.05). As for the presence or non-presence of toothache occurrence from the oral hygiene habits of the research subject, there was a difference between the occurrence and nonoccurrence of bleeding during brushing or flossing (p<0.05). According to the results of regression analysis, no factors were signifiant in the relationship with the presence or non-presence of toothache occurrence from the status of life habits and oral hygiene habits. 70% of the researched group was randomly selected as the sample for generating an analytical model and the remaining 30% was used as the sample for generating an evaluation model. According to the results of CART model, the occurrence of toothache was higher in the case of irregular meal time and poor current health condition than the case of average or satisfactory health condition. The above results imply that CART model is very useful technique in predicting toothache occurrence compared to regression analysis, and suggests that CART model could be very useful in predicting other oral diseases including toothache.

The incidence of colorectal cancer (CRC) in Korea has been gradually increased and it has been reported that dietary life is highly associated with the development of CRC. To investigate dietary attitudes and nutritional risk factors for CRC, we analyzed food intake of 34 patients diagnosed with CRC within 1 year and 51 subjects without gastrointestinal diseases as a control reside in Daegu·Gyeongbuk Area using semi-quantitative food frequency questionnaire. The results showed that dietary regularity and variety of food intake in control subjects was better than CRC patients whereas, CRC patients eat more frequently animal and vegetable protein foods, fried foods, green and yellow vegetables, and fruits than control subjects. Nutrient intake analysis showed that Vitamin A, E, K, C, sodium, magnesium, iodine, and cholesterol intake of CRC patients was higher than control subjects. Especially, after adjusting age and sex, regression analysis showed that Vitamin K (OR = 1.022, 95% Cl 1.003-1.043, p = 0.026) and sodium (OR = 1.001, 95% Cl 1.000-1.002, p = 0.032) were identified as risk factors for CRC. In the future, verification of the relationship between these nutrients and CRC risk and appropriate nutrient education will be needed for the prevention of CRC.
Even though there are some discrepancies in detail with the legal characteristic of the issuing bank's notice to the beneficiary of opening of the letter of credit, article 25 of "the Korean Private International Act(hereunder, 'KPIA')" can be applied to the legal relation between the issuing bank and the beneficiary or the negotiating bank. According to article 26 of the KPIA, if there is no agreement between the issuing bank and its opponent party as to the governing law issues, a state's law which has the closest relationship with the subject case may be applied. In the latter case, given the facts that the issuing bank plays important roles in every phasis of the sale of goods by the letter of credit, a law of place where the issuing bank's business premises is situated(the $lex$$situs$) can be the applicable law. Meanwhile, "the Korean Supreme Court(hereunder 'KSC')" held that the beneficiary or the negotiating bank can claim any damages arising due to the refusal or deferred payment of the issuing bank, and the law which governs the above mentioned situation is the same law that is applicable to the legal relation between the issuing bank and the beneficiary or the negotiating bank. The main reason of the KSC's ruling is that the nature of the legitimate interest rate which is stated in article 3 of "the Act on Special Cases concerning Expedition etc. of Legal Proceeding(hereunder 'ASCELP')" is substantial matters, not procedural. Taking into account, however, that the main object of ASCELP lies in expedition of legal proceeding, prompt realization of people's rights and duties, and prevention of delayed legal proceeding, it is recommendable that ASCELP, instead of the law applicable to the legal relation between the issuing bank and the beneficiary or the negotiating bank, should be applied to the cases in which the malicious debtor's only and main purpose is delaying the legal proceedings. On the other hand, even if the issuing bank's duty of examination of the documents which were tendered by the beneficiary or the negotiating bank is restricted to the formality and strict conformity of the documents and not the substantiality of the documents, the issuing bank still has to examine the documents with due diligence that is required to the banks whose main business is sales of documents, not the real goods. In this regard, under the circumstances where the document lacked the regularity and/or the formality on its face because of the forgery of the document and where it was expected that an ordinary banker might have easily found any faults with the document, the issuing bank must compensate any parties for damages when it pays money without due diligence as a banker who engaged in the sales of documents.

The purpose of this research seeks to analyze the spatial variations in the sex age structure which have been shown to exist within the study atrea, the Kyonggi province in Korea. In this study it is desired to use the Age Structure Index developed by Coulson in order to describe thi sex age structure of each of 186 tracts that comprise the tracted portion of the Kyonggi province. The mechanics of computing the Age Structure Index are found in the equation describing a linear least squares trend line: y=a+bx. For each census tract, the percentage of the population in each age group(y) was plotted against the middle age of each age group(x). The a is a constant representing the value of y, when x equals zero. The b is the regression coefficient and is a measure of the angle of the slope of the least squares trend line. Thus the value of b is the Age Structure Index for each census tract. The major results of this investigation can be summarized as follows: The spatial distributions of sex age structures in the Kyonggi province are far from random. They have exhibited great regularity with the yonger sex age structures near Seoul and a sharp decline to the older sex age structures out in all derections towards rural region. The results of this investigation should have important general significance for the study of the Kyonggi province Age Structure Index is a flexible, operational definition shich allows sex age structure to be measured, mapped, and incorporated in a wide variety of methods of statistical analysis. Futurer, it has been demonstrated that sex age structure varies spatially within Seoul metropolitan finge and that this variation is relagfed to many other attributes of the population. Especially, Age Structure Index is strongly related to the variables-rate of population growth rate. density, rate of numbers of manufacturing, land price. At the same time, considerably more research is needed before a genmeral body of knowlege concerning sex age structure can be developed.

In order to obtain the basic information for the optimal settlement planning in the reclaimed area, various existing settlement conditions on reclaimed farming village were analysed through a case study of in-and-round farming villages in Deuk Ryang Reclaimed Area. By comparison study between in-and-around villages, the allocation policy of farming settlement in the samll and medium scale area was proposed. The results obtained in this study were as follows ; 1.The population structure of the inner village(Ansim village) had become worse than the around village during 1976~1981 period from the viewpoint of total and female emigration ratios. Especially, the originally unbalanced sex ratio of Ansim village had worsen to the unacceptable ratio of 1.5 : 1(male : female). Therefore, the structural stability of the population should be carefully improved in the newly reclaimed farming villages by the systematic long-term controlling machanism.2.The farming status of Ansim village was much lower than the around villages viewing of the cultivated acreage and agricultural machinery stock Therefore, the continuous and intensive governmental support different from the existing farming area should be required for the settling of reclaimed farming. 3. The regularity of the village site as a planned village, though pursed in the first phase of village construction, had been severely disturbed inflowing of squatters. Recently, there are increasing vaccant houses in the village, and the level of living amenities and personal mobility of Ansim village are much lower than the around village. So, now, the physical structure of the village should be improved to the level of village reconstruction or new village construction. 4. The cultivated area of Ansim village leans to the south side which would be unfavoured by the farmers of the around villages, while its distributing pattern should be concentric around the village site. This phenomenon disturbs the central fuction of the planned farming village. In this respect, role assignment, relationship and balance of competence in farming activities should be planned between in-and-around villages in the reclaimed area from the initial stage. 5. Putting together the above results in this study, the farming and living conditions of Ansim village threaten its existence as a planned new farming village in the reclaimed area. And, so, the full scale reconstruction of village structure, including moving to the new site, should be designed as soon as possible. Although further many studies should be carried out, it would be sure that the new village planning should be reconsidered in the small and-medium scale reclamation works.
Among finite filed arithmetic operations, division/inverse is known as a basic operation for public-key cryptosystems over $GF(2^{m})$ and it is computed by performing the repetitive $AB^{2}$ multiplication. This paper presents a digit-serial-in-serial-out systolic architecture for performing the $AB^2$ operation in GF$(2^{m})$. To obtain L×L digit-serial-in-serial-out architecture, new $AB^{2}$ algorithm is proposed and partitioning, index transformation and merging the cell of the architecture, which is derived from the algorithm, are proposed. Based on the area-time product, when the digit-size of digit-serial architecture, L, is selected to be less than about m, the proposed digit-serial architecture is efficient than bit-parallel architecture, and L is selected to be less than about $(1/5)log_{2}(m+1)$, the proposed is efficient than bit-serial. In addition, the area-time product complexity of pipelined digit-serial $AB^{2}$ systolic architecture is approximately $10.9\%$ lower than that of nonpipelined one, when it is assumed that m=160 and L=8. Additionally, since the proposed architecture can be utilized for the basic architecture of crypto-processor and it is well suited to VLSI implementation because of its simplicity, regularity and pipelinability.
The dietary habits of middle-aged obese, overweight and normal subjects were evaluated for the purpose of providing the background information of the degenerative disease control. A survey was conducted with 293 subjects (121 males and 172 females) between the ages 40-64 and they were divided into three groups of normal (BMI 18.5-22.9), overweight (BMI 23-24.9) and obese ($BMI\geq25$) based on the criteria of Korean Obesity Association (2000). The mean age of the subjects was $52.0\pm7.3(male)\;and\;51.9\pm6.9$ (female). Socioeconomic levels of subjects belong to the mid-upper class, since 71.9% of the males and 39.5% of the females received above a college education. More than 40% (44.6%) of males and 22.1% of females were obese, and educational background did not affect the obesity rate in males, whereas in females those who received lower education had a higher rate of obesity (p < 0.001). The subjects had a similar degree of drinking to the national average value. but had a lower degree of smoking. The obese group had the higher rate of drinking (p < 0.01) and smoking (p < 0.01). The annual increase in weight, more than 4 kg, was 8.8% for normal group and 30.9% for obese group. However, there were no differences in the mean annual increase in weight among the three groups. In females there were greater tendencies of weight changes in obese group (p < 0.05). About 44.9% of subjects responded that they were exercising regularly, and the obese group appeared to put into practice less than the other groups and to use more strenuous exercise. There was the greater rate of skipping dinner in the obese female group (p < 0.05). The unbalanced dietary pattern was found more with normal group than the other groups (p < 0.01). The food consumption frequency by food groups was not different among the groups. The obese group consumed less frequently meats, vegetables and fruits and had higher frequency in fish, legumes and their products, instant or fast food. In all subjects the higher rate of obesity was found with males than females and with those of heavier smoking and drinking, and in females the higher rate of obesity was found with lower education levels, skipping meals and having an unbalanced diet. In middle-aged subjects of this study with higher educational and socioeconomic background factors contributing to the effects of obesity may include smoking, drinking, educational background, skipping meals or unbalanced dietary pattern. The predictable characteristics for the development of obesity can be defined as sudden fluctuation of weights, exercise regularity and intakes of vegetables and fruits.
