  • Purposes: This study has the purpose to the improvement of health promotion for local residents through delivery of high-quality medical service by improving imbalance of medical use and seeking an improvement plan for accessibility of effective medical service by understanding the pattern of medical use by region. Methodology: As for the method, this study derived results at the significance level of p<0.05 through chi square test(χ2 test) and Generalized Estimating Equation(GEE) SAS 9.4 version by using the data of the 7th Korean Longitudinal Study of Ageing 2018. Findings: Study results show that local residents use medical service such as hospitalization care and outpatient visit more as compared to the residents in Gyeonggi-do/large or medium-sized cities. The more the number of chronic disease, the more they select hospitalization care rather than outpatient visit. Results also show that patients engaged in labour tend to select outpatient treatment rather than hospitalization treatment. Meanwhile, severity of disease turned out to be higher amongst medical care beneficiaries than that of national health insurance patients when comparing the types of medical security. Practical Implications: In stead of solving the problem of the difference in medical use by region from the aspect of income and economic level, an integrative solution shall be provided putting viewpoint on the social phenomenon suited to the changes of the times. This study suggests a plan for using a health and medical community care center that acts as a gate keeper of regional medical service.

  • Wetland conservation plan has been established to protect ecologically important wetlands based on vegetation integrity, spatial distribution of endangered species, but recently more demands are concentrated on the landscape ecological approaches such as topological relationship, neighboring area, spatial arrangements between wetlands at the broad scale. Landscape ecological analysis and graph theory are conducted to identify spatial characteristics related to core nodes and weak links of wetland networks in Nakdong basin. Regular planar model, which is selected for wetland networks, is applied in the Nakdong basin. The analysis indicates that 5 regional groups and 4 core wetlands are extracted with 15km threshold distance. The IIC and PC values based on the binary and probability models suggest that the wetland group C composed of main stream of Nakdong river and Geumho river is the most important area for wetland network. Wetland conservation plan, restoration projected of damaged and weak links between wetlands should be proposed through evaluating the node, links, and networks from wetlands at the local to the regional scale in Nakdong basin.

The study results are as follows. Japan recognized social problems of deteriorated apartments and pushed forward a national level remodeling actively by preparing financial support of central government and supporting plan by city and province. First, Japan maintained initial performance of buildings through phased maintenance for deterioration of buildings and aimed to reduce environmental load and maintain asset values of buildings through enlarging durability of buildings by responding to lifestyle according to social changes. To this end, they promoted the long life of buildings through the establishment of systematic long term repair plan from the stage of moving in the buildings. Second, in order to reduce the risk of remodeling projects, they prepared an environment where business could be carried out with an easy mind in various aspects by introducing remodeling business registration system and large scale repair construction defect insurance system. Third, they reduced economic burden of main agents of remodeling business with tax preferential treatment and financial support policies. Fourth, they have established remodeling support system based on overall social issues and connected it with social effect that could be obtained through this. The remodeling policies of Japan were carried out in the direction of solving social problems and considering economic aspect rather than just improving individuals' residence environment.
