  • 최근들어 대부분의 공공기관에서 ITA(Information Technology Architecture : 정보기술아키텍처)와 BSC(Balance ScoreCard : 균형성과표) 시스템을 도입하고 있다. ITA에서 제시되는 참조모델(Reference Model)은 ITA의 일관성, 재사용성, 상호운용성 등을 확보하기 위한 도구인데 그 중 하나인 성과참조모델(PRM : Performance Reference Model)에 있어서 BSC와의 연계가 필요한 이유와 그 방법에 관해 논하고자 한다.

  • 모델 기준 제어(MRC)는 플랜트가 주어진 기준 모델의 거동을 추종하도록 플랜트를 제어하는 제어 기법이다. 기준 모델은 플랜트가 추종할 이상적인 궤적을 제공한다. 지금까지 많은 종류의 MRC가 제안되었지만, 본 논문에서는 모델 기준 슬라이딩 모드 제어(MRSMC)에 대해 제어 대상 플랜트가 불확실성을 갖는 단일 입출력 2차 시변 선형 시스템인 경우에 대해 연구를 수행하였다. 본 논문에서 MRSMC를 위한 기준 모델의 설계 방법이 제안하였다. 제안된 방법은 제한된 제어 입력, 기준 입력, 시스템 파라미터에 대한 정보를 사용하여 기준 모델을 선정한다. 이러한 선정 결과는 고정된 기준 모델의 선정, 계단 입력 인가시의 가변 기준 모델 갱신, 매 샘플링 시간마다 순간 기준 모델의 갱신 등으로 이용할 수 있다. 모터의 위치 제어 시스템에 대한 시뮬레이션 결과는 제안된 방법의 효용성을 보여준다.

Fast and Accurate Visual Place Recognition Using Street-View Images

  • A fast and accurate building-level visual place recognition method built on an image-retrieval scheme using street-view images is proposed. Reference images generated from street-view images usually depict multiple buildings and confusing regions, such as roads, sky, and vehicles, which degrades retrieval accuracy and causes matching ambiguity. The proposed practical database refinement method uses informative reference image and keypoint selection. For database refinement, the method uses a spatial layout of the buildings in the reference image, specifically a building-identification mask image, which is obtained from a prebuilt three-dimensional model of the site. A global-positioning-system-aware retrieval structure is incorporated in it. To evaluate the method, we constructed a dataset over an area of $0.26km^2$. It was comprised of 38,700 reference images and corresponding building-identification mask images. The proposed method removed 25% of the database images using informative reference image selection. It achieved 85.6% recall of the top five candidates in 1.25 s of full processing. The method thus achieved high accuracy at a low computational complexity.

수치표고모델의 보간기준점 선정에 관한 연구 (Reference Points Selection for Interpolation in Digital Elevation Model)

  • 지형의 기복변화를 수치적으로 표현하는 수치표고모델에서 보간 기준점의 선정방법은 매우 중요하다. 하지만 아직까지 정확한 기준이 정해진 것 없이 사용자가 임의로 선정하여 보간을 수행하고 있는 실정이다. 본 연구에서는 수치표고모델을 보다 정확하고 효과적으로 구축하기 위한 보간 기준점 선정방법을 연구하였다. 점의 수를 적용한 선정 방법과 비정규적으로 분포되어 있는 점들을 정규 격자형태로 가정하고 구한 점들간의 평균거리를 적용한 기준점 선정 방법이 분석되었다. 그 결과 점들간 평균거리를 적용한 크리깅 방법이 수치표고모델을 구축하는데 보다 효과적인 방법임을 알 수 있었다.

  • An engineering estimation equation for the crack opening displacement (COD) is proposed for a complex cracked pipe, based on the reference stress approach. To define the reference stress, a simple plastic limit load analysis for the complex cracked pipe subjected to combined bending and tension is performed considering the crack closure effect in the compressive-stressed region. Comparison with ten published test data and the results from existing method shows that the present method not only reduces non-conservatism associated with the existing method, but also provides consistent and overall satisfactory results.

Many-objective Evolutionary Algorithm with Knee point-based Reference Vector Adaptive Adjustment Strategy

  • The adaptive adjustment of reference or weight vectors in decomposition-based methods has been a hot research topic in the evolutionary community over the past few years. Although various methods have been proposed regarding this issue, most of them aim to diversify solutions in the objective space to cover the true Pareto fronts as much as possible. Different from them, this paper proposes a knee point-based reference vector adaptive adjustment strategy to concurrently balance the convergence and diversity. To be specific, the knee point-based reference vector adaptive adjustment strategy firstly utilizes knee points to construct the adaptive reference vectors. After that, a new fitness function is defined mathematically. Then, this paper further designs a many-objective evolutionary algorithm with knee point-based reference vector adaptive adjustment strategy, where the mating operation and environmental selection are designed accordingly. The proposed method is extensively tested on the WFG test suite with 8, 10 and 12 objectives and MPDMP with state-of-the-art optimizers. Extensive experimental results demonstrate the superiority of the proposed method over state-of-the-art optimizers and the practicability of the proposed method in tackling practical many-objective optimization problems.

Fast Reference Frame Selection Method Based on Best Reference Frame Index Correlation

  • This letter presents a very simple yet very effective solution for fast reference frame (RF) selection in H.264/AVC. By efficiently making use of the correlation between the best RF indices in various inter modes, the proposed method significantly reduces the number of RFs to be examined at the expense of a very small miss rate. Simulation results show that the proposed method not only improves upon the coding performance of conventional methods but also reduces the encoding time significantly.

  • Conventional competitive learning algorithms compute the Euclidien distance to determine the winner neuron out of all predetermined output neurons. In such cases, there is a drawback that the performence of the learning algorithm depends on the initial reference(=weight) vectors. In this paper, we propose a new competitive learning algorithm that dynamically generates output neurons. The proposed method generates output neurons by dynamically changing the class thresholds for all output neurons. We compute the similarity between the input vector and the reference vector of each output neuron generated. If the two are similar, the reference vector is adjusted to make it still more like the input vector. Otherwise, the input vector is designated as the reference vector of a new outputneuron. Since the reference vectors of output neurons are dynamically assigned according to input pattern distribution, the proposed method gets around the phenomenon that learning is early determined due to redundant output neurons. Experiments using speech data have shown the proposed method to be superior to existint methods.

위상각기준의 이동을 통한 새로운 패널티 계수의 계산방법 (A New Calculation of Generator Penality Factors through transposition of System Angle Reference)

  • In this paper, a new method for calculating the penalty factors of all generators including the slack bus is presented. A simple transposition of the angle reference, from the conventional slack bus to another bus where no generation exists, enables the derivation of the loss sensitivity of the slack bus. Penalty factors are obtained without any physical assumption through a simple substitution of the bus loss sensitivities. Penalty factors calculated by proposed method are not dependent on reference bus and can also be directly substituted into the general ELD equation for computing the optimal dispatch. Equations for loss sensitivities, Penalty factors and ELD are calculated simultaneously in normal power flow computation. A case study on a test system has proved the effectiveness of the proposed' angle reference transposition' method.

채혈 시간에 따른 부신피질 자극 호르몬 검사의 참고치 설정에 관한 고찰 (Consideration for Setting Reference Range for Adrenocorticotropic Hormone Test according to Blood Collection Time)

  • Purpose The reference range described in Adrenocorticotropic Hormone reagent used in our laboratory is 10-60 pg/mL at 8 a.m. to 10 a.m., and 6-30 pg/mL at 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. However, in the case of outpatients, blood is mainly collected between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m., accounting for 57.8% of the total. Therefore, This study is intended to help make a more accurate diagnosis by reevaluating the reference range provided by the manufacturer of the Adrenocorticotropic Hormone reagent and setting split-timed reference range. Materials and Methods The patients collected blood before 10 a.m. were group A (68 people), and the patients collected blood after 10 a.m. were set to group B (80 people). A T-test was performed between groups to test their significance. And it was confirmed whether it was necessary to set the gender classification as a subgroup. The method of setting the reference range was calculated by the Bayesian's method and the Hoffmann's method. Results The reference range of Group A was 8.6 to 60.6 pg/mL by the Bayesian's method, and the Hoffmann's method was 3.6 to 61.3 pg/mL. The reference range of Group B was 6.9 to 50.5 pg/mL when applying the Bayesian's method, and the Hoffmann method's was 2.3 to 48.9 pg/mL. Conclusion This study was concluded that it was necessary to set the split-timed reference range. Through this study, the later the blood collection time, the lower the level of Adrenocorticotropic Hormone, indicating that blood collection time is important for patients with clinical significance. If a large number of subjects are selected and supplemented in the future, it is believed that systematic and accurate reference range can be set.
