For an advanced intelligent service, the need of HRI technology has recently been increasing and the technology has been also improved. However, HRI components have been evaluated under stable and controlled laboratory environments and there are no evaluation results of performance in real environments. Therefore, robot service providers and users have not been getting sufficient information on the level of current HRI technology. In this paper, we provide the evaluation results of the performance of the HRI components on the robot platforms providing actual services in pilot service sites. For the evaluation, we select face detection component, speaker gender classification component and sound localization component as representative HRI components closing to the commercialization. The goal of this paper is to provide valuable information and reference performance on appling the HRI components to real robot environments.

In order to succeed in today's changing business environment, the enterprise should adapt their process flexible. To increase their business process flexibility they need to establish and end-to-end integration internally as well as among partners. Now that SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) is accepted as an upcoming IT standard to support flexible business processes and integration. In this paper, SOA is introduced And the Web services and ESB (Enterprise Service Bus) are also introduced as a foundation technology to implement SOA-enabled solutions. The pilot project, which introduced in this paper, will be a good reference for future SOA study.

This paper discusses a distributed implementation of the Biba security policy model. Implementation of an service in the OSI-RM is not sufficient for enforcing the Biba model. Also confidentiality services are necessary. Public Key Systems(PKSs) are considered for the realization of these security services. In this paper symmetric & asymmetric cryptographic systems are considered for the realization of these security service. It is investigated how key-distributions can be found resulting in a minimum number of key.

The DGPS transmits the enhancement signal to GPS using the medium frequency band. The NDGPS service that covers the Korean peninsula has been started since 2009. The service area of ocean-based DGPS(maritime-DGPS) reference stations covers the 100NM, but land-based DGPS(land-DGPS) covers 80km service area less than that of maritime DGPS. The DGPS's antenna has the top-loaded monopole antenna type. Top-loaded monopoles are the logical antennas to be used in order to get a low profile antenna and a performance according to the broadcaster and communication needs. The antenna needs to get the ground plane with good conductivity characteristics and flat ground plane without obstacle near to the transmitting antenna. In this paper, the radiation characteristics of an equivalent MF antenna are analyzed in view points of the ground conductivity and the ground plane with obstacle near to the antenna.

본 연구는 대학도서관을 중심으로 전자 정보서비스의 현황을 파악하고 이용자와 사서의 인식을 조사하여 도입 초기단계에 있는 국내 대학도서관에 온라인 실시간정보서비스의 운영방안을 제시하기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 이론적 연구와 실증적 연구에서 분석된 결과를 기초로 하여 계획, 정책, 실행의 측면으로 운영방안을 제시하였다. 서비스와 이용자의 특성을 고려한 계획과 기존 전자 정보서비스를 반영한 정책을 기반으로 효율적 교육 및 홍보와 평가를 통한 실행이 요구된다.

This study was conducted to find qualitative approaches to occupational reference to group health practices. In-depth interviewing was done on 8 subjects health monitor members, owners and occupational nurses, respectively). The major findings were as follows; 1. Visiting health management Useful services were 'health counseling', 'medical examination', 'providing informations about managing diseases', 'agency business in relation to Labour Ministry' and 'giving a recognition about occupational health service to owners'. Insufficiencies were 'lack of treatment service after medical examination' and 'lack of follow up services constantly'. 2. Occupational nursing service Useful services were 'providing health information' and 'counselling about health'. Major contents of occupational nursing services were 'management of occupational and adult diseases' and 'explanation of the results after medical examination'. Insufficiencies were 'deficiency of the place where group health education could be performed', 'lack of additional or closer examinations needed in counselling' and 'discontinuous selection of additional or more exact examinations'. 3. Health monitor members Health monitor members in industries were classified into two. Some were selected by owners and the others were selected simply by considering their administrative abilities such as proficient management of documents. Their major tasks were to connect workers with occupational health management agencies. This study suggests that programs should be developed which enable health monitor members to cooperate with occupational nurses.

This Paper provides perceptual metrics for video quality based on properties of human visual system, and audio quality based on human audition. All metrics work without reference signals, allowing non-intrusive, in-service measurements. A simple and easy-to-learn user interface displays the metrics and saves them in popular file formats like CSV. In this paper, proposed method was able to various and corrective measurement for the multimedia service video quality. As that it was able to application to set up service guide line and the methode of measurement and system for the set up standardization of the high quality video service.

This paper presents a new object model, LOM(Lightweight Object Model) and an implementation method for the distributed trader in heterogeneous distributed computing environment including mobile network. Trader is third party object that enables clients to find suitable servers, which provide the most appropriate services to client in distributed environment including dynamic reconfiguration of services and servers. Trading service requires simpler and more specific object model than genetic object models which provide richer multimedia data types and semantic characteristics with complex data structures. LOM supports a new reference attribute type instead of the relationship, inheritance and composite attribute types of the general object oriented models and so LOM has simple data structures. Also in LOM, the modelling step includes specifying of the information about users and the access right to objects for security in the mobile environment and development of the distributed storage for trading service. Also, we propose and implementation method of the distributed trader, which integrates the LOM-information object model and the OMG (object Management Group) computational object model.

The ITS performance evaluation has been performed in the evaluation of traffic data collection equipment. However, evaluation of the data collection equipment alone cannot guarantee the reliability of the traffic information. So, ITS service evaluation has to be implemented institutionally. In this study, an evaluation method has been prepared to evaluate the accuracy of travel time information in road sections. In addition, a piece of portable reference equipment was developed to collect travel time data on the road. Field tests were performed on two national road sections managed by the Seoul Construction and Management Administration (SCMA) to prepare an evaluation method considering field conditions and evaluate the reference equipment's performance. Based on the test results, the improvement of the reference equipment to collect more samples and the adjustment of collection points were discussed.

The focuses and methods in Library science have been changed abreast with the development af library facilities and with the expansion and diversification of its functions. One of current trends in Library science is focussed on the social functions of library: its relations to the public, effective service for the users. and efficieniencies of the management policies, and so. on. To. deal with these issues, we need to borrow methodology from other disciplines such as management, marketing, statistics, etc. This paper is mainly concerned with how we approach to the measurement af services and thus provide tentative standard for evaluating library services. To do. this work properly, we'd better consider the users' needs and expectations. But it is not an easy work since too many factors are involved in the study of the users' needs. Users' needs and expectations are so. varying that it is difficult to find out some general and objective data. That is the reason why although many scholars have urged time after time the necessity of library's effectiveness measurement, few studies demonstrated substantial method for measuring the effectiveness of service. In this paper I propose a device for measuring service: i. e, Conjoint Analysis. Conjoint Analysis, which has originally been developed and applied in marketing research, is used to measure the priorities and preferences of purchasers on the new item. So far as Conjoint Analysis, concerning users' physical and psychological necessities, can numeralize people's needs, it may also be applied to measure service provided by nonprofit organization like library. If this approach prove to be sucessful, I hope this study to make any contribution to the appropriate direction on improving library facilities based on the result from a concret reference evaluation.
