In this paper, a new method is proposed for robust proportional- integral - derivative (PID) control that is to ensure specified phase margin and iso - damping property using reduction model. This method is based on the second order plus dead time(SOPDT) reduction model of the high order model. Reduction model used to ensure iso-damping property in the feature frequency. Simulation results gives proof of effectiveness of proposed method.
In this paper, the model reduction method of the linear time invariant continuous systems is proposed. The denominator of reduced order model is determined by the eigenvalue selected considering the error of the power series that exists between original system and reduced order system at each time moments. And the numerator of model is founded by the time moment matching method. The method suggested is compared with other various methods in examples.

This paper shows the positivistic approach for analyzing the effect of ICT on the reduction of greenhouse gas (GHG) emission. The real-time navigation was selected for the ICT based service in this research, and the CO2 reduction ratios of the optimized routes in the navigation were compared with the reduction ratios of the shortest routes in existing navigations. The results of experiments showed the driving based on the optimized routes has more reduction effects than the driving on the basis of the shortest routes. Also, new evaluation method for GHG emission was suggested by the quantification and monitoring approaches on the basis of the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) in this paper. The results of this paper can be used as a preliminary research for the effect of ICT on the reduction of GHG emission. The evaluation method which suggested in this paper will be suggested to CDM as the new standard for the reduction of GHG emission in the transportation field as well.

Explicit numerical integration methods for power system transient stability simulation require very small time steps to avoid numerical instability. The EXST1 exciter model is a primary source of fast dynamics in power system transients. In case of the EXST1, the required small integration time step for entire system simulation increases the computational demands in terms of running time and storage. This paper presents a practical exciter model reduction approach which allows the increase of the required step size and thus the method can decrease the computational demands. The fast dynamics in the original EXST1 are eliminated in the reduced exciter model. The use of a larger time step improves the computational efficiency. This paper describes the way to eliminate the fast dynamics from the original exciter model based on linear system theory. In order to validate the performance of the proposed method, case studies with the GSO-37 bus system are provided. Comparisons between the original and reduced models are made in simulation accuracy and critical clearing time.

In this paper we proposed a new algorithm that can reduce the open-loop pitch estimation time of G.723.1. The time domain cross-correlation method is simple but has long processing time by recursive multiplication. For reduction of processing time, we use the method that compute the cross-correlation by multiplying the Fourier value of speech by it's complex conjugate. Also, we can reduce the processing time by omitting the bit-reversing of FFT and IFFT for time-frequency domain transform. As a result, the processing time of improved hybrid domain cross-correlation algorithm is reduced by 67.37% of conventional time domain cross-correlation.
In EVAR procedure using long time C-arm, we studied exposure dose reduction and effeciency through measuring surgical staff's ESD by installing lead curtain operating table next to. The height 3 the spot (50cm, 100cm, 150cm) dose was measured on 2 locations for 600sec in the X-ray radiation considering the surgical staff's movement. To install the curtains, we compared before and after the dose. As a result, it can confirm that dose of the installation former of 50cm height and after is reduced about 75% and 91% in 2 locations. In 100cm height, the reduction of the dose was a bit confirmed. There as to dose value, measured on 150cm height the installation former and after was nearly no change. This research examined the exposure dose about the radiation of the surgical staff during EVAR procedure in which the operation time is the long time. It was implemented in the object that it reduces the radiation exposure. Consumers' perception of risk plays a major role in how they make online purchase decisions. Since online shopping is perceived to be riskier than in-store shopping, consumers engage in a variety of risk reduction strategies such as searching online for alternative products and alternative e-tailers. This study examines the influence of risk involvement on risk reduction strategies and customer satisfaction. It discusses three aspects of risk reduction strategies: time spent in making a purchasing decision, searching for alternative e-tailers, and searching for alternative products. Data from 294 female shoppers who had experience in purchasing fashion products online was analyzed. This study found that risk involvement had a positive influence on the time spent in making decisions, while the influence of risk involvement on searching for alternative retailers and alternative products was not significant. However, consumer satisfaction was negatively related to search for alternative retailers and positively related to risk involvement. This study provides a better understanding of customers' risk involvement and risk reduction strategies in online shopping. This information would be beneficial for marketers and retailers to reduce customer perception of risks and to promote online sales.

Background: Pediatric nasal fractures, unlike adult nasal fractures, are treated surgically as early as 7 days after the initial trauma. However, in some cases, a week or more elapses before surgery, and few studies have investigated the consequences of delayed surgery for pediatric nasal fractures. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the postoperative outcomes of pediatric nasal fractures according to the time interval between the initial trauma and surgery. Methods: The records of pediatric patients under 12 years old who underwent closed reduction of nasal bone fracture from March 2012 to February 2020 were reviewed. The interval between trauma and surgery was divided into within 7 days (early reduction) and more than 7 days (delayed reduction). Postoperative results were classified into five grades (excellent, good, moderate, poor, and very poor) based on the degree of reduction shown on computed tomography. Results: Ninety-eight patients were analyzed, of whom 51 underwent early reduction and 47 underwent delayed reduction. Forty-two (82.4%) of the 51 patients in the early reduction group showed excellent results, and nine (17.6%) showed good results. Thirty-nine (83.0%) of the 47 patients in the delayed reduction group showed excellent results and eight (17.0%) showed good results. No statistically significant difference in outcomes was found between the two groups (chi-square test p= 0.937). However, patients without septal injury were significantly more likely to have excellent postoperative outcomes (chi-square test p< 0.01). Conclusion: No statistically significant difference was found in the outcomes of pediatric nasal fractures between the early and delayed reduction groups. Successful surgical results were found even in patients who received delayed reduction (more than 7 days after trauma).
Conventional high-dose antipsychotics tend to result in more side effects, negative symptoms and dysphoria, and at the same time lower the cognitive function which is already impaired in most schizophrenics. Florid psychotic symptoms, negative symptoms and cognitive impairment greatly impede psychosocial performance and eventual reintegration into society. The reduction of symptom and the improvement of cognitive funtions and social skills are therefore central to the psychiatric rehabilitation process. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the dose-reduction effects of antipsychotics on chronic schizophrenics prescribed conventional high-dose antipsychotics more than 1,500mg equivalent of chlorpromazine. Fifty-one chronic schizophrenics who maintained high-dose antipsychotics for more than three months were randomly assigned to two groups : 20 patients comprised the dose-maintaining group and 31 patients made the dose-reduction group. Over a sixteen weekperiod Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale(PANSS), Extrapyramidal Symptom(EPS), Nurses' Observation Scale for Inpatient Evaluation(NOSIE-30), Continuous Performance Test(CPT), Quality of Life(QOL), and haloperidol/reduced haloperidol blood levels were determined at the base line and after 2, 4, 6, 8, 12, 16 weeks to evaluate the dose reduction effects of high-dose antipsychotics. The results were as follows : 1) Dose-reduction is highly effective in reducing positive and negative symptoms, and general psychopathology. Effects were most prominent at 8, 12, 16 weeks. Among the dose reduction group, positive symptoms in positive symptom group and negative symptoms in negative symptom group were more reduced. 2 Extrapyramidal symptoms showed no significant difference between two groups. But the EPS was reduced time after time within two groups. 3) Hit rates of Continuous Performance Test, which indicate attentional capacity, increased significantly after dose reduction. 4) Haloperidol and reduced haloperidol blood levels decreased until the 4th week, after which they were constant. 5) Total scores of Nurses' Observation Scale for Inpatient Evaluation were unchanged between the two groups. But among the indices, social interest and personal neatness were improved in the dose-reduction group and retardation was aggrevated in the dose-maintaining group. 6) Total quality of life scores were unchanged between two groups. But in the dose maintaining group, satisfaction scores of attention, autonomy, and interpersonal relationship decreased progressively. These findings suggest that the dose reduction of antipsychotics for chronic schizophrenics on programs of high-dose antipsychotics were effective. Dose reduction should therefore be implemanted to spread the rehabilitation and improve quality of life for chronic schizophrenics.

This paper deals with a fractional model reduction for linear systems with time varying delayed states. A contractive coprime factorization of linear time delayed systems is defined and obtained by solving linear matrix inequalities. Using generalize controllability and observability gramians of tile contractive coprime factor, a balanced state space realization of the system is derived. The reduced model will be obtained by truncating states in the balanced realization and an upper bound of model approximation error is also presented. In order to demonstrate efficacy of the suggested method, a numerical example is illustrated.
