In this paper, a new current-memory circuit is proposed that reduces the clock feedthrough(CFT) error voltage causing total harmonic distortion(THD) increment in switched-current(SI) systems. Using PMOS transistor in CMOS complementary, the proposed one reduces output distortion current due to the CFT errorvoltage. A proposed current-memory is designed using a 1.2.mu.m CMOS process anda 1MHz sinusoidal signal having a 68.mu.A amplitude current is applied as input (sampling frequency:20MHz). It hasbeen shown from the simulation that the output distortion current effected by the CFT error voltage is reduced by approximately 10 times the error voltage of conventional one, THD is -57dB in case ofappling 1kHz frequency input signalwith 0.5 peak signal-to-bias current ratio.

High performance $Si_{0.8}Ge_{0.2}$ heterostructure metal-oxide-semiconductor field effect transistors (MOSFETs) were fabricated using well-controlled delta-doping of boron and $Si_{0.8}Ge_{0.2}$/Si heterostructure epitaxal layers grown by reduced pressure chemical vapor deposition. In this paper, we report 1/f noise characteristics of the SiGe pMOSFETs measured under various bias conditions of the gate and drain voltages changing in linear operation regions. From the noise spectral density, we found that the gate and drain voltage dependence of the noise represented same features, as usually scaled with $f^{-1}$ However, 1/f noise was found to be much lower in the device with boron delta-doped layer, by a factor of $10^{-1}_10^{-2}$ in comparison with the device fabricated without delta-doped layer. 1/f noise property of delta-doped device looks important because the device may replace bipolar transistors most commonly embedded in high-frequency oscillator circuits.

This paper presents an error compensation method for a fixed-width modified Booth multiplier that receives a W-bit input and produces a W-bit product. To efficiently compensate for the quantization error, Booth encoder outputs (not multiplier coefficients) are used for the generation of error compensation bias. The truncated bits are divided into two groups depending upon their effects on the quantization error. Then, different error compensation methods are applied to each group. By simulations, it is shown that quantization error can be reduced up to 50% by the proposed error compensation method compared with the existing method with approximately the same hardware overhead in the bias generation circuit. It is also shown that the proposed method leads to up to 40% reduction in area and power consumption of a multiplier compared with the ideal multiplier.

In this paper, a phoneme separation and an establishment of discriminative pattern of Korean phonemes are studied on experiment. The separation uses parameters such as pitch extraction, glottal peak pulse width of each pitch. speech duration. envelope and amplitude bias. The first pitch is extracted by deviations of glottal peak and width. energy and normalization on a bias on the top of vowel envelope. And then, it traces adjacent pitch to vowel in whole. On vewel, amethod to be reduced gliding pattern and the possible of vowel distinction to be used just second formant are proposed, and shrinking pitch waveform has nothing to do with pitch length is estimated. A pattern of envelope, spectrum, shrinking waveform, and a method of analysis by mutual relation among phonemes and manners of articulation on consonant are detected. As experimental results, 90% on vowel phoneme, 80% and 60% on initial and final consonant are discriminated.

Various modified algorithms of rapidly-exploring random tree (RRT) have been previously proposed. However, compared to the RRT algorithm for collision avoidance with global and static obstacles, it is not easy to find a collision avoidance and local path re-planning algorithm for dynamic obstacles based on the RRT algorithm. In this study, we propose boundary-RRT*, a novel-algorithm that can be applied to aerial vehicles for collision avoidance and path re-planning in a three-dimensional environment. The algorithm not only bounds the configuration space, but it also includes an implicit bias for the bounded configuration space. Therefore, it can create a path with a natural curvature without defining a bias function. Furthermore, the exploring space is reduced to a half-torus by combining it with simple right-of-way rules. When defining the distance as a cost, the proposed algorithm through numerical analysis shows that the standard deviation (σ) approaches 0 as the number of samples per unit time increases and the length of epsilon ε (maximum length of an edge in the tree) decreases. This means that a stable waypoint list can be generated using the proposed algorithm. Therefore, by increasing real-time performance through simple calculation and the boundary of the configuration space, the algorithm proved to be suitable for collision avoidance of aerial vehicles and replanning of local paths.

Recently, As the frequency of localized heavy rains increases, the use of high-resolution radar data is increasing. The produced radar rainfall has still gaps of spatial and temporal compared to gauge observation rainfall, and in many studies, various statistical techniques are performed for correct rainfall. In this study, the precipitation correction of the S-band Dual Polarization radar in use in the flood forecast was performed using the ConvAE algorithm, one of the Convolutional Neural Network. The ConvAE model was trained based on radar data sets having a 10-min temporal resolution: radar rainfall data, gauge rainfall data for 790minutes(July 2017 in Cheongju flood event). As a result of the validation of corrected radar rainfall were reduced gaps compared to gauge rainfall and the spatial correction was also performed. Therefore, it is judged that the corrected radar rainfall using ConvAE will increase the reliability of the gridded rainfall data used in various physically-based distributed hydrodynamic models.
The development of fast reactors with complex designs and operation status requires more accurate and effective simulation. The Monte-Carlo method can generate multi-group cross-sections in arbitrary geometry without approximation on resonances treatment and leads to good results in combination with diffusion codes. However, in previous studies, the coupling of Monte-Carlo generated multi-group cross-sections (MC-MGXS) and transport solvers has shown relatively large biases in fast reactor problems. In this paper, the main contribution to the biases is proved to be the neglect of the angle-dependence of the total cross-sections. The flux-moment homogenization technique (MHT) is proposed to take into account this dependence. In this method, the angular dependence is attributed to the transfer cross-sections, keeping an independent form for the total sections. For the MET-1000 benchmark, the multi-group transport simulation results with MC-MGXS generated with MHT are improved by 700 pcm and an additional 120 pcm with higher order scattering. The factors that cause the residual bias are discussed. The core power distribution bias is also significantly reduced when MHT is used. It proves that the MCMGXS with MHT can be applicable with transport solvers in fast reactor analysis.

This systematic review aimed to investigate whether minimally invasive root canal preparation ensures higher fracture resistance compared to conventional root canal preparation in endodontically treated teeth (ETT). A comprehensive search strategy was conducted on the "PubMed, Web of Science, and Scopus" databases, alongside reference and hand searches, with language restrictions applied. Two independent reviews selected pertinent laboratory studies that explored the effect of minimally invasive root canal preparation on fracture resistance, in comparison to larger preparation counterparts. The quality of the studies was assessed, and the risk of bias was categorized as low, moderate, or high. The electronic search yielded a total of 1,767 articles. After applying eligibility criteria, 8 studies were included. Given the low methodological quality of these studies and the large variability of fracture resistance values, the impact of reduced apical size and/or taper on the fracture resistance of the ETT can be considered uncertain. This systematic review could not reveal sufficient evidence regarding the effect of minimally invasive preparation on increasing fracture resistance of ETT, primarily due to the inherent limitations of the studies and the moderate risk of bias.
With the advancement in technology and rapid increase in the demand for microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) based inertial measurement units (IMUs), high-volume production and test system remain a major challenge for the MEMS industry. To compete with the challenging market of Industry 4.0, here we developed an automatic test system to evaluate the performance of the ovenized IMU sensors as well as analyze the data. The automatic test system was developed by interfacing a commercial MEMS IMU (BMI 088) using LabVIEW. The BMI 088 was tested experimentally for long-term bias stability, ON/OFF bias repeatability, and root mean square (rms) noise. Furthermore, the data was analyzed through the developed test system. The results show that the automatic test system has improved the test time and reduced human effort. The developed automatic test system is a significant approach to MEMS research and development (R&D) to increase and improve the mass production of IMUs.
