Effect of New Improved Technology of Silkworm Bombyx mori L. Rearing on the Egg Production Capacity

  • Experiments were held in Egypt to test a new Package of practices for commercial cocoon production, including adding secondary macro and micronutrients to the mulberry garden, disease free rearing regime, low temperature rearing in young instars and natural mounting fur silkworms. This package for seed silkworm rearing lead to increase in fecundity by 67-121eggs (15.12-26.22%) and yield of standard boxes per 1 parent egg boxes by 57-58 egg boxes(48.33-51.66%) respectively in comparison th the traditional cocoon production technology.

학령기 아동이 지각한 부모의 양육태도, 사회적 지지가 자기효능감과 스트레스에 미치는 영향-한국과 중국 아동의 비교 (Effects of Perception of Parental Rearing Attitude and Social Support on Self-efficacy and Stress among School-aged Children -The Comparison of Korean and Chinese Children)

  • Purpose: The study was done to explore the effect of perception of parental rearing attitude and social support on self-efficacy and stress among school-aged children, then to supply information for health promotion of children and to promote multi-cultural communication between Korea and China. Methods: The participants for this study were 180 elementary students each, from Korea and China. Data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, $X^2$test, t-test, correlation analysis and AMOS. Results: Social support had a direct effect on self-efficacy for both Korean and Chinese children. In Korea parental rearing attitude had greater direct effect on stress than social support and self-efficacy. But in China only, parental rearing attitude had direct effect on stress. Conclusion: These findings provide support for perception of parental rearing attitude, social support, and self-efficacy as predictive variables of stress in Korean and Chinese school-aged children.

수업저해아동과 수업촉진아동의 가정환경, 자기효능감 및 부모의 양육태도 비교연구 (Disruptive/Cooperative Classroom Behavior : A Comparative Study of Children's Home Environment, Self-efficacy and Parents' Child Rearing Attitudes)

  • This study analyzed home environment, self-efficacy and parents' child rearing attitudes of disruptive children and of cooperative children in the classroom. Participants were 322 children(11-12 years of age) and 49 teachers. Instruments were four kinds of questionnaires. Data were analyzed by T-test and Fisher's exact test. Results of between group differences in parents' academic backgrounds showed more parents of cooperative children had completed high school. Disruptive children's mothers were more occupied outside the home; cooperative children's mothers engaged in more housework at home. Disruptive children's perceptions of their economic status were lower than cooperative children's perceptions. Results of comparison of general self-efficacy, scholastic self-efficacy, and home environment showed that disruptive children were statistically lower than cooperative children on all sub-variables.

해체가정과 일반 가정 어머니의 양육스트레스 및 부모역할 차이 (A Comparison Between Mothers' Stress from Child Rearing and Parental Role according to the Type of Dysfunctional Family and Normal Family)

  • The recent type of dysfunctional family is caused not only by the loss of a family member, which is the traditional type of dysfunction, but also by the absence of a functional aspect. In order for a family to function healthily, it is necessary to have the right child rearing by the parents and the right parental role. Accordingly, this study is to identify the difference in stress from child rearing and the parental role in dysfunctional families, which have been increasing enormously in recent times. With this aim, 45 persons from dysfunctional families owing to divorce, 51 persons from other dysfunctional families, and 48 persons from general families were subject to a test about stress from child rearing and the parental role. As a result, for stress from child rearing, mothers in dysfunctional families perceived stress from child rearing more highly than ones in general families; and also for parental role, the level of parental role was proven lower for mothers in dysfunctional families than ones in general families.

초산모와 경산모의 신생아에 대한 지각, 자신감, 양육태도의 차이 (The Comparison of Mother's Perception of the Newborn, Caring-confidence, and Child-rearing Attitude between Primipara and Multipara)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare mother's caring-confidence, between primipara perception of the newborn, and child-rearing attitude and multipara. Method: The data was collected from 159 married mothers of newborns in the post-partum care center using self-rating questionnaires from November, 2003 to March, 2004. Data was analyzed using SPSS/Win program by t-test and Pearson Correlation coefficient. Result: 1) The mean score of mother's perception of the newborn, the newborn caring-confidence, and child-rearing attitude were .26, 3.13, and 3.43. 2) The score of the newborn caring-confidence of multipara was greater significantly than the one of primapara. 3) The score of mother's perception of tile newborn and child-rearing attitude of primapara were greater than the one of multipara but there were no significant differences. 4) There was a positive correlation between mother's perception of the newborn and child-rearing attitude and significant correlation between caring-confidence and child-rearing attitude. 5) The score of mother's perception of the newborn was significantly different according to the level of education type of family and delivery planned. 6) The score of caring-confidence was significantly different according to the helper, the history of delivery. 7) The score of child-rearing attitude was significantly difference according to the level of education and the birth weight of newborn. Conclusion: When the newborn care giver in the postpartum care setting is teaching the method of infant care to mother, there should be in consideration of the rearing experience of mothers. Mother's perception of the newborn, caring-confidence, and child-rearing attitude should be considered to develop the effective education program for mothers who have newborn. And its educational contents must be focused on the promotion of trust between infant and mother.

건설폐기물의 처리공정에서 생산된 선별토사의 활용 방안 제시 (Proposal of Reuse Method of Sorting Soil Produced in Treatment Process of Construction Waste)

  • 선별토사와 관행농토를 혼합하여 물리역학시험을 실시한 결과 일반 성 복토재로써 물리적 성능이 일반토양과 유사하여 활용이 가능할 것으로 판단된다. 토양분석시험 결과 산도가 강알칼리성을 보였고 유효인산 성분이 다소 부족하였으며, 치환성 양이온 중 Ca의 성분의 과잉으로 인하여 생육 저하 현상이 발생할 가능성이 있는 것으로 사료된다. 또한 상층토 50cm를 걷어내고 하층토 부분을 선별토사로 치환 후 걷어낸 상층토를 관행농토로 복토하여 생육 분석한 결과, 생육 장해 요인이 거의 없는 것으로 판단된다. 따라서 선별토사를 활용하는데 있어서 선별토사를 근권의 영향권인 유효토심에 사용하는 경우에는 작물의 생육을 저해할 가능성도 있기 때문에 객토와 같은 유효토심에 직접적으로 사용하기 보다는 근권에 대한 영향이 상대적으로 적은 하층토에 대해 대체하는 방안이 유효할 것으로 사료된다. 또한 선별토사를 세척하는 기술이나 산도의 중화, 유기물 공급 등의 방법을 강구해야 하며, 선별토사의 재료원이 일정치 않은 특성상 품질이 균질하지 않기 때문에 품질확보를 위해서는 품질에 따라 1급, 2급, 3급 등으로 나누고 사용용도 기준을 각각 정하여 품질의 확보를 위한 인증제도의 도입이 필요할 것으로 사료된다.

양성적 부모의 양육행동과 아동의 자기역량감에 관한 연구 (A Study on Androgynous Parent's Child-rearing Practices and Children's Self-Perceived Competence)

  • This study investigated the relation of androgynous parent's child-rearing practices to children's self-perceived competence by comparison of the effectiveness of androgynous people as parents compared with parents who are other-typed in their sex-role identity. The subjects were 362 third and sixth grade children and their parents selected from two elementary schools in Seoul. The instruments were a children's self-perceived competence scale, a perception of maternal warmth and control scale, a perception of paternal warmth and control scale, parent's self-esteem scale, and parent's sex-role identity scale. Frequencies, percentiles, mean, ${\chi}^2$ test, two way-ANOVA, one way-ANOVA, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ and $Scheff{\acute{e}}$-test were used for data-analysis. The major findings showed that (1) Androgynous and masculine fathers had higher self-esteem than feminine or undifferentiated fathers. Androgynous, masculine, and feminine mothers had higher self-esteem than undifferentiated mothers. (2) There was no difference in children's perception of parental warmth and control as related to parent's sex-role identity. Androgynyous parents were not more likely to be authoritative parents. (3) Sons of androgynous parents had higher self-perceived competence than those of sex-typed parents, while daughters of sex-typed parents had higher self-perceived competence than those of androgynous parents.

다문화와 일반 가정의 어머니의 양육태도 및 아동의 감각처리능력 비교 (Mothers' Attitude on Child-Rearing and Sensory Processing Ability of their Children in Ordinary Multi-cultural Families)

  • 목적 : 본 연구는 다문화와 일반 가정 어머니의 양육태도와 그 자녀의 감각처리능력을 알아보기 위한 것이다. 연구 방법 : 만 3~7세의 자녀를 둔 다문화 가정 19명과 일반 가정 38명을 조사하였다. 설문지는 어머니와 자녀의 일반적인 특성, 어머니의 양육태도, 자녀의 감각처리능력에 관한 것이다. 대상자의 인구학적 특성은 기술통계, 두 집단간의 비교는 맨 휘트니 U 방법으로 분석하였다. 결과 : 다문화 가정과 일반 가정의 양육태도는 거부적 태도(p=.000)와 자율적 태도(p=.000)에서 유의한 차이를 나타내었다. 그리고 다문화 가정과 일반 가정 아동의 감각처리능력을 비교한 결과, 맛/냄새 민감성(p=.004), 움직임 민감성(p=.021), 과소반응/특정자극을 찾는 행동(p=.010), 청각여과하기(p=.016), 활력이 부족하고 허약함(p=.003), 시각/청각 민감성(p=.029), 총합(p=.002) 항목에서 유의한 차이를 나타내었다. 결론 : 본 연구를 통하여 다문화 가정과 일반 가정의 어머니 양육태도 특성과 만 3~7세 아동의 감각처리능력에 대해 알아보았다. 다문화 가정에 대한 심층적이고 질적인 연구를 통해 특성을 파악하고 놀이와 발달에 대한 정보를 제공하는 것이 필요하다.

유아를 양육하는 어머니와 할머니의 양육 교육요구 비교 (A Comparison of Education Needs between Mothers and Grandmothers for Toddlers in Child-Rearing)

  • 이 연구는 유아(만 12~36개월)를 양육하는 어머니와 할머니의 양육 교육요구를 비교하여, 양육자 간의 양육태도 불일치로 인한 갈등과 문제를 해결하고, 일관성 있는 양육 교육 프로그램의 개발에 필요한 기초자료를 제공하기 위해 시도되었다. 연구 대상자는 유아를 양육하는 할머니 201명, 어머니 201명이며, 자료 수집은 경남 C시 어린이집 11곳에서 2017년 8월 1일부터 10월 12일까지 시행되었다. 수집된 자료는 빈도와 백분율, 평균과 표준편차, independent t-test로 분석하였다. 어머니와 할머니의 양육 교육요구를 비교한 결과, 전체 교육요구 점수는 4점 만점에 어머니 2.82±0.58점, 할머니 2.81±0.63점이었고, 5개 전체 영역에서 통계적으로 유의한 차이가 없었다(t=0.21, p=.836). 양육 교육요구는 어머니와 할머니 모두 질병과 사고예방 및 관리 영역이 가장 높았고, 신체 돌보기 영역이 가장 낮았다. 본 연구 결과를 근거로 유아 양육 교육 프로그램은 교육요구가 높았던 질병과 사고예방 및 관리 영역을 중심으로 내용을 선정하여 개발하고, 유아를 양육하는 어머니와 할머니 모두를 대상으로 적용하여 그 효과를 규명하는 연구를 제안한다.

부모별거 초등학생의 별거 경험 및 양육요인에 따른 사회·정서적 적응력 연구 -연변 조선족 아동과 한국 아동의 비교- (Separation from Parents : Socio-Emotional Adjustment of Korean-Chinese Elementary School Children in Yanbian - Comparison with Korean Children-)

  • In this comparison of the relative effects of children's separation from their parents, socio-emotional adjustment was assessed by emotional and behavioral problems and emotional intelligence. Subjects were 502 elementary school children separated from their parents(162 in Yanbian and 340 in Korea) and their caregivers. Data analysis was by frequency, t-test, and multiple regression controlled by gender and grade in school. Caregivers living with children and their parenting efficacy were significant variables for the development of socio-emotional adjustment in Korean-Chinese children in Yanbian, but reasons for parent-child separation, caregivers' psychological and behavioral characteristics, and SES were significant variables for children in Korea. Implications are that regional differences should be considered in understanding and supporting the development of children's socio-emotional adjustment.
