기존의 데이터 마이닝 방법들은 기본적으로 지식 발견의 대상이 되는 데이터 집합이 마이닝 작업 시작 이전에 명확히 정의되는 것으로 가정하며 이러한 가정은 고정적으로 정의된 특정 데이터 집합에 내재된 정보 추출이 데이터 마이닝의 목적이 될 때 유효하다. 또한, 기존의 데이터 마이닝 방법들은 대용량의 데이터 집합에 대한 마이닝 결과를 얻는데 있어서 상당한 처리 시간을 요구한다. 따라서, 새로운 트랜잭션 데이터가 지속적으로 추가되는 데이터 스트림에서 추가된 트랜잭션의 정보들을 포함하는 최신의 마이닝 결과를 최대한 빠른 시간 안에 얻기를 기대하는 실시간 처리 환경에서는 기존의 데이터 마이닝 방법을 적용하는 것이 거의 불가능하다. 이러한 목적에 부합하기 위해서 본 논문에서는 새로운 데이터 마이닝 개념인 개방 데이터 마이닝을 제안한다. 개방 데이터 마이닝에서는 새로운 트랜잭션이 발생함에 따라 이전에 발생한 트랜잭션들에 대한 마이닝 결과가 새롭게 갱신되며 따라서 확장된 전체 트랜잭션 집합에 대한 마이닝 결과를 빠르게 얻을 수 있다. 이러한 방법을 효과적으로 구현하기 위해서는 새롭게 출현한 항목에 대한 지연추가와 이전 데이터 집합에 출현한 항목들 중에서 중요하지 않는 항목에 대한 전지작업이 병행되어야 한다. 논문에서 제안하는 알고리즘은 알고리즘의 특성을 파악하기 위한 일련의 다양한 실험을 통해서 검증된다.

In this paper, we investigate the methods to improve the position accuracy using DGNSS(Differential Global Navigation Satellite System). Then we configure the real-time DGNSS environment with use of GPS and MSAS as SBAS(Satellite Based Augmentation System) currently being in service by Japan. And we verify the improvement of position accuracy and the continuity of GPS correction data through the realtime DGNSS test in Joongang line, Kyungbu line, Honam line.

This paper implements H.263 codec using SIMD(single instruction multiple data) method in real time based on PC. This system uses INS algorithm previously proposed by the authors as motion estimation module. SIMD method is used in DCT, IDCT, quantization, motion estimation, and display module. The developed algorithms are implemented using TMN5. Using the above algorithm, H.263 Codec can communicate more than 15 frames/sec in CIF resolution on a Pentium-IV 1.7GHz computer.

As user's demands for high-speed data traffic are recently increased, ABR services are considered as one of important service requirements in ATM networks. Unfortunately, a number of existing ATM switching systems have structural drawbacks as to support ABR services because these switching systems have been developed to support realtime(rt) services such as CBR and rt-VBR services. To support ABR services in the existing ATM switching systems, new traffic control mechanisms for ABR services are required. This paper proposes a method for supporting ABR services in ATM swithcing systems without back-pressure mechanisms and evaluates the performance of the proposed method using simulation.

In this paper, an interface method for MMS on ATM networks is proposed. It can apply to the realtime communication and the remote control in wide-area manufacturing complex and virtual factory. It is used for the downloading program, the reporting and gathering of data and the remote control for the remote client. The developed interface rule is basd on the rule for MMS on TCP/IP. The main goals of implementation are to verify whether MMS on ATM is able to meet the requirements of factory automation and manufacturing complex.

This paper presents a dynamic resource allocation algorithm with multi-frequency time-division multiple access for the return link of interactive satellite multimedia networks such as digital video broadcasting return channel via satellite systems. The proposed timeslot assignment algorithm, called the very efficient dynamic timeslot assignment (VEDTA) algorithm, gives an optimal assignment plan within a very short period. The optimality and computational efficiency of this algorithm demonstrate that it will be useful in field applications.

국내에서 가장 많이 사용되고 있는 전력계통 해석프로그램 PSS/E의 데이터 파일을 전력계통 감시장치 송전망 감시 중앙시스템에서 제공하는 실시간 정보를 이용, PSS/E 데이터 구조로 변환하는 실시간 PSS/E 데이터 파일 작성 프로그램을 개발하여 실계통 검증결과 매우 정확함을 확인하였다.
