In this research, the influence of low-quality aggregate on engineering properties of concrete was experimentally evaluated. From a series of experiment, the results can be summarized as follow: first, the low-quality aggregate in concrete mixture caused up to 83% of decreased slump. For air content, low-quality aggregate increased air content of concrete mixture. Especially, when sea sand was used, because of the narrow gradation with small size, the air content was significantly increased. The compressive strength of concrete mixtures with low-quality aggregates were decreased up to 29% while some cases showed slightly increased compressive strength at early age. Additionally, the concrete mixture mixed with the exploded debris as a coarse aggregate showed approximately 5 to 20% of decreased compressive strength comparing with high-quality of manufacturing rock. In summary, because of the decreased workability of concrete mixture mixed with low-quality aggregates such as exploded debris, clay, and sea sand, it is concerned that worse quality of the ready mixed concrete, produced with the extra water to compensate the decreased workability.

This paper investigated the plant and raw material of the ready-mixed concrete company which could supply to the second Lotte World on Pusan. the results were summarized as following. Almost plants were mainly using Twin shaft mixer which was 210m$^3$/hr and horizontal type. There was different the number of admixture silos at each plants, and they were separated by types. The mixtures mainly consisted of the ordinary portland cement, fly ash and blast furnace slag. For favorable quality control, each materials had to carry from same factories, and the monitering standard for quality control should be prepared. The coarse aggregates were used with many different producing districts, so they were only used from Y caused by exclusion of quality difference. The crushed, washed and river sands were generally used as fine aggregates, so the fine aggregates which could be possible to supply stable quality were chosen. This study used Poly Carbonic Acid Admixture which was developed to satisfy maintenance of performance till 2 hours and 10MPa at 15 hours.

This study is to examine a change of quality and a material performance of fiber reinforced cement composite for mass production. It is necessary to make Strain-hardening cementitious composite(SHCC) by batcher plant for ready-mixed concrete and use the performance of SHCC which made based on laboratory level. This study makes a comparative performance of press and mechanics that is the property of Strain-hardening by direct tension. In case of making by batcher plant. This experiment has demonstrated that even if it takes long after being mixed small and compared with the one which made based on laboratory, it has a tendency to be dissatisfied with fiver's dispersion and lower its performance of Strain-hardening. The reason why the material performance of SHCC for mass production went down is through SHCC that mixed sometimes matrix's viscosity and fiber's dispersion.

At the Korea Land and Housing Corporation(LH), concretes with high design strength of 50 MPa and 80 MPa that are composed only of ordinary Portland cement, blast furnace slag, and fly ash are developed. To determine whether the developed high strength concretes have the same properties when they are produced in batch plant(B/P) condition in the ready mixed concrete plant, and as existing high strength concretes, field tests are performed and material properties are evaluated. To investigate the material properties of the high strength concretes before and after pumping, compressive strength, flowability, air content, hydration temperature, pumping and compactability are evaluated. In field tests, before and after pumping, flowability satisfied the relevant criteria. In terms of air content, while it was slightly decreased after pumping, it satisfied the requirements. Hydration temperature criteria were satisfied, and compactability was excellent as well. The study found that the developed ternary high strength concretes have the same properties as existing high strength concretes. They can also be useful for the construction of high-rise buildings, as they are economical.

This is an experimental study for recycling coal ash left over from coal use as a potential fine aggregate in concrete. Coal ash is generally divided into either fly ash or bottom ash. Fly ash has been utilized as a substitution material for cement in concrete mixes. On the other hand, bottom ash has the problem of low recycling rates, and thus it has been primarily reclaimed. This study partially substituted fine concrete aggregates with bottom ash to increase its application rate and therefore its recycling rate; its suitability for this purpose was confirmed. The concrete's workability dropped noticeably with increasing bottom ash content when a fixed water-cement ratio of concrete mix was used. Thus, concrete mixes with higher ratio levels are required. To address this problem, concrete was mixed using a polycarboxylate high-range water reducing agent. The fluidity and air entrainment immediately after mixing the concrete and 1 h after mixing were measured, thereby replicating the time concrete is placed in the field when produced either in a ready-mixed concrete or in a batch plant. As a result of this research, the workability and air entrainment were maintained 1 h after mixing for a concrete mixture with approximately 30% of its fine concrete aggregates substituted with the bottom ash. A slight drop in compression strength was seen; however, this confirmed that potential of using bottom ash as a fine aggregate in concrete.

The cover of truck agitator give in a part to prevent the lower flowing of fresh concrete when the concrete are transported from the ready mixed concrete plant to the construction field. As a result of the question data, it show up a dirty image to the general civil society. Due to the above image, it is predicted to affect the image of the construction company, so we did the site experiment of the flowing, the amounts of air, the temperature change of concrete with the concrete left in the site, to find out the usefulness. Also, for the comparing with this, we got the result by doing the inner experiment with the same condition. As the result of the experiment, the cover of truck agitator affect little to the reduction of slump. The change of the air amount, regardless of the existence of cover, was not effected much in proper level until 60minutes. In addition, The compression strength was proper to the goal design strength until 90minutes regardless of the cover of truck agitator exist or not exist.
This study was carried out to investigate and analyse the influence of maximum size of coarse aggregate and quality control of aggregate on the properties of shotcrete through the laboratory and field test. From the results of the test, as the maximum size of coarse aggregate decreased from 13 mm to 8 mm, plasticity property declined and compressive strength and dynamic modulus of elasticity of hardened concrete increased remarkably, so it was found that the aggregate size 8 mm was superior to 13, 10 mm in fluidity, constructability and durability. Therefore, it was advisable for well maximum size of coarse aggregate to apply to the 8mm aggregates through the Ready-mixed Method for quality control and minimum segregation.

One of the most important requirements for reinforced concrete constructions is the bond behavior between concrete and reinforcement. In this study, the positions (i.e., vertical, horizontal) and the locations (i.e., 225mm and 75mm) of reinforcement were considered as a main test parameter. The ready mixed recycled aggregate concrete concrete with specified strength of 21MPa was prepared with different replacement ratio(i.e 0%, 100%) of recycled coarse aggregate. From the test results, it was bond that under the same mix proportion (i.e., the mix proportions are the same, except for deformed bars position), the bond strength between the recycled coarse aggregate concrete and the reinforcement has obvious relation with reinforcement position. Also, the specimens of top position showed a lower bond stress than that provided in CEB-FIP Code.

Concrete used as structural materials in construction fields is supplied as a type of carry and placement by ready-mixed concrete (RMC) truck after proportioning in batch plant. However, during conveying of concrete to the field, due to traffic jam, weather, etc., it is not easy to maintain adequate slump. In this case, we think that the insert of an admixture to concrete has no problem in concrete. For RMC, when the slump is not sufficient, the truck driver insert water additionally without any considerations. After that, concrete is placed after re-mixing and this leads to serious reasons such as strength reduction less than design strength considered in the structural design. Accordingly, in this study, to solve the problem to insert water without realistic reasons in RMC, basic experimental studies were performed. Admixtures used frequently in fields were selected and addition's repeated time and elapsed time interval after initial addition of the admixture were selected as main variables. Authors want that the results of this study is used as basic data to resolve the question.

There were some attempt to reuse water with sludge combinative water for ready mixed concrete. But recycling water consist of cement, aggregate and chemical admixture. So it caused deterioration of concrete. The object of this study was to search for recycling method of the recycling water sludge as mineral admixture. This experiment dealed with the effect of $2.5{\sim}12.5$% range of the recycling sludge which can be used for admixture binder(BFS, FA, BFS+FA) on properties of activated recycling water sludge for admixture of concrete. As a result, Although the slump levels reduced and air contents increased as sludge replacement levels increased, it didn't change highly. The compression strength of concrete slightly increased with an increasing amount of recycling water sludge replacement.
