  • Successful reading instruction of teacher librarian should be to identify the reading characteristics of students. Nevertheless, there are insufficient tools for to identify the reading characteristics. Thus, this study propose the reading flow type classification and test instruments reading flow using structure equation modeling. In order to verify the reading flow type, this study established 4 temporary model(Warner, Dunn & Dunn, MBTI, flow construction), conformed using AMOS structure equation modeling. The most fit model of 4 temporary model were conformed flow construction. Test instruments for reading flow was developed based on conformed flow construction. Suggested reading flow type classification consist of 16 styles in four dimensions. Reading flow test instruments consist of 28 item styles in four dimensions. The data for this study re-used 1,836 students questionary for prior paper of this researcher.

  • In this paper, we investigate the impacts of the following four influential factors on flow in digital reading: contents, platforms, motivations, and places. The contents factor was subdivided into "news articles" and "journal papers"; platforms is comprised of "mobile phones," "tablets," and "laptops"; motivations consists of "pleasure" and "assignments"; and "home," "on the go," and "out of home" are the subdivisions of the places factor. We conducted a questionnaire survey with the study's participants and the following results are shown: 1) The flow during the reading of news articles is influenced by motivations, whereas the flow during the reading of journal papers is influenced by platforms. 2) Regarding mobile phones, motivations significantly affected the flow, whereas content types significantly affected the flow for tablets; also, laptops provided the best flow and articles can be read on the platform regardless of motivations. 3) Reading for pleasure rather than for assignments positively influenced the flow for all of the platforms. 4) With respect to news articles, the places providing flow are different across platforms. However, for journal papers, the places out of home provided good flow. For tablets, the places for flow significantly depended on the content type, which is not the case for laptops.

  • This study analyzes the influences on the reading flow, reading satisfaction, and continuous willingness to read books for parents, teachers, and friends as a reading role model to influence high school students and the differences in the personal characteristics; gender, disciplines, and grade. The result shows that the most important contributor for high school students' reading is friends and male students are more influenced by their friends than female students. In addition, students in vocational high school are more influenced by their friends than students in academic high school. Parents factor relatively affects the reading for male students, 3rd grade students in high school, and students in academic high school. On the other hand, teachers barely affect the reading factors for students.

  • Venturi meter is frequently used in feed water flow control system in a nuclear power plant. Its accurate measurement plays a vital role in the safe operation of the plant. This paper firstly investigates the influence of the length of each section of pipeline, the throat inner diameter of Venturi and the flow characteristics in a single-phase flow on the accuracy of Venturi measurement by numerical calculation. Then the flow and the accuracy are discussed in a multi-phase flow. Numerical results show that the geometrical parameters and the characteristics of complex turbulent flow in the single-phase flow have little impact on the accuracy of Venturi flow rate measurement. In the multi-phase flow, the calculated flow rate of Venturi deviated from the actual flow rate and this deviation value is closely related to the amount of steam in the pipeline and increases sharply with the increase of the amount of steam. The over-reading of Venturi flow rate is present.

  • This study investigated the effects of an Augmented Reality(AR) implemented book on flow of reading, interest in history, and acquisition of history knowledge. Perceptions of AR infused books were investigated as well. Researchers provided a history book implementing AR and the same book without any AR content respectively to an experiment group(n=15) and a control group(n=15) composed of $3^{rd}$ and $4^{th}$ grade elementary school children. Results indicate that AR implemented reading had a positive effect on the flow of reading and interest in history, but not on acquisition of history knowledge. Also, AR-based contents were attractive to learners due to its amusing characters, sound, realistic visual motions, and vivid three-dimensional effects. Lastly, students preferred amusing interesting characters, lengthier animations and subtitles, and AR that could be seen without holding smart devices for a long while.

  • The purpose of this study is to find out the influence of reading role model (parents, teachers, and friends) and reading effectiveness (reading satisfaction, willingness to persistent reading, immersed reading) reflected on middle school students' academic achievement (Korean Language performance and middle school record). As a result of the analysis, the factors affecting the performance of Korean Language were father (1.9%) and mother (3.4%) among reading role models. Among reading effectiveness factors, willingness to persistent reading (8%) was the only effective factor. In the case of the middle school record, the mother (3.4%) had the only effect among the reading role models, and reading effectiveness was influenced all factors such willingness to persistent reading (10.4%), immersed reading (4.0%) and reading satisfaction (1.9%). However, except for the factor willingness to persistent reading, the it found the influence was insignificant.

  • An anemometer employing the bulk PTC thermistor as the sensing element is investigated in this study. The numerical and experimental works are carried out to improve the sensitivity problem of the element by focusing fluid dynamics point of view. The typical shape of the sensing element has been used as a rectangular type, but this shape has a sensitivity problem because of flow separations on the sharp edge when the flow direction is different from that of the sensing element. In order to reduce the reading error, the installer has to be very careful about the flow direction. The reading error fluctuation by time as well as the sensitivity problem can be improved considerably through this study. It can be concluded that the small change of the sensor shape can improve the performance of the flow sensor.
