모바일 핫스팟 네트워크 기반의 도시철도 무선백홀망 구현 (Implementation of Mobile Hot-spot Network for Subway Wireless Backhaul Network)

  • 도시철도 전동차 승객에게 초고속 Wi-Fi 서비스를 제공하기 위하여, 밀리미터파 대역의 광대역 주파수를 사용한 차세대 이동통신 네트워크인 MHN(Mobile Hotspot Network)을 이용한 새로운 이동무선백홀망 구축기술을 제안하였다. MHN의 상하향 링크 물리계층의 데이터 전송 구조에 대한 분석 및 이동무선 백홀 링크 모델링에 기반한 시뮬레이션을 수행하여 링크 성능을 분석한 결과, 1.2Gbps의 데이터 전송이 가능하며 기존의 WiBro 기반 이동무선백홀에 비해 100배 이상의 초고속 인터넷 서비스를 제공할 수 있게 됨으로써 도시철도 무선데이터망으로 적합하다는 것을 제시하였다.

Prediction of aerodynamic coefficients of streamlined bridge decks using artificial neural network based on CFD dataset

  • Aerodynamic force coefficients are generally obtained from traditional wind tunnel tests or computational fluid dynamics (CFD). Unfortunately, the techniques mentioned above can sometimes be cumbersome because of the cost involved, such as the computational cost and the use of heavy equipment, to name only two examples. This study proposed to build a deep neural network model to predict the aerodynamic force coefficients based on data collected from CFD simulations to overcome these drawbacks. Therefore, a series of CFD simulations were conducted using different geometric parameters to obtain the aerodynamic force coefficients, validated with wind tunnel tests. The results obtained from CFD simulations were used to create a dataset to train a multilayer perceptron artificial neural network (ANN) model. The models were obtained using three optimization algorithms: scaled conjugate gradient (SCG), Bayesian regularization (BR), and Levenberg-Marquardt algorithms (LM). Furthermore, the performance of each neural network was verified using two performance metrics, including the mean square error and the R-squared coefficient of determination. Finally, the ANN model proved to be highly accurate in predicting the force coefficients of similar bridge sections, thus circumventing the computational burden associated with CFD simulation and the cost of traditional wind tunnel tests.

  • Intelligent agent is to decide what customers need on the internet and offer them accurate information. In this paper, the system which can recommend the tourism items in terms of customer's needs is proposed by appling the intelligent agent to railway tourism system. Most of previous agents are focused on price. But, this study proposes the Railway tourism system which offers each customer the best suitable information based on quality of information and reputation. The customer's needs are analyzed through intelligent agent and the information which is suitable for customer's needs is obtained the Artificial Neural Network Model.

  • The electrified railway has various power supply schemes. Although the identical trains are operated in same condition and the impedance of track are equal, the genealogy impedance of track is changed according to composition method of feeding scheme. So, the harmonic current flowing into the railway substation are greatly unlike. For simulation of harmonic magnification flowing into the railway substation according to feeding scheme, we propose 6-port network analysis method based on 4-port network, find 6-port equivalent model of each circuit component, and compare and investigate harmonic magnification in the case of parallel post and normal feeding scheme.

  • This paper show communication network scheme problem for the railway is solved which were electrical noise and line break in wayside using rerouting communication line, Considering the availability and the maintainability based on the reliability in design of communication networks. At first, Self-Healing Ring algorithm is suggested in that solution which is satisfied with above requirements. And also, in the advanced type, Dual Master scheme is suggested that the problem which is occurred in line break of both main and sub line at the same time can be solved using DMSHR(Dual Master Self Healing Ring). Therefore total reliability in railway system is going to be advanced using DMSHR scheme.

  • 무선통신기반 열차제어시스템의 국내 도입을 앞두고 철도전용 주파수 할당에 대한 사항이 활발히 논의되고 있다. 공공자원으로서 큰 가치를 지닌 주파수를 적절한 용도에 알맞은 양을 할당하는 것은 다른 분야와의 형평성과 한정된 자원의 유용한 사용 측면에 있어서도 중요한 문제이다. 본 논문에서는 무선통신기반 열차제어시스템에서 기존에 논의되던 서비스들을 LTE 기반의 철도통신망에 적용했을 때 안정적인 운용이 가능한지에 대하여 시뮬레이션을 통하여 알아보았다.

  • Risk-based railway safety management has been mandatory in Korea as by relevant laws and regulations enacted since the Railway Safety Act 2004. In particular, the Railway Vehicle Safety Guidance came into effect on Jan 1, 2008 specifies the details of methodology for hazard analysis, risk assessment and safety verification and validation. Fundamentals for success of the risk-based safety management are systematic hazard identification and risk assessment by use of reasonable risk assessment criteria, but the principle of risk-based safety management has not been applied in an effective way to introduction and maintenance of railway vehicle systems because definite risk assessment criteria have not been set down for each railway system or railway network. The purpose of this study is to suggest a risk matrix development principle for risk assessment of domestic urban metro vehicles by analyses of relevant rules and railway operating environment of Korea.

Risk Assessment of a High-Speed Railway Bridge System Based on an Improved Response Surface Method

  • A refined three-dimensional finite element interaction model between the high-speed train and railway bride deck has been developed in the present study. Analytical predictions of vertical deflections for a railway bridge are compared with in-situ test results and a good agreement is achieved. Then, input variables employed in the analytical comparisons are selected as random variables for the limit state functions. followed by risk assessment. For this purpose, a linear adaptive weighted response surface method has been developed and applied. A typical railway bridge has been selected and the limit state functions are employed from UIC and Korean specifications in the comparative studies. The results reveal that Korean specifications give significantly risky reliability indices in comparison with UIC specifications. It is thus encouraged from the above that the present linear adaptive weighted response surface method can be an alternative for the fast estimation of nonlinear structural systems.

  • 콘크리트궤도는 고속, 고밀도의 운행선로에서도 차량의 주행안정성이 높고, 이용승객에게 좋은 승차감을 제공할 수 있으며, 궤도 보수 비용을 대폭 절감시킬 수 있는 장점을 가지고 있어 고속선을 중심으로 점차 적용 구간이 늘어나고 있다. 하지만, ◯◯고속철도 토공 구간의 노반 침하로 기인된 콘크리트궤도의 2차적 침하가 발생하는 사례가 빈번히 발생하고 있어, 이로 인한 철도 운행의 안정성 문제가 대두되고 있다. 허용 잔류침하량을 초과하는 콘크리트궤도에 대한 효율적인 유지보수 방안 수립을 위해서는 공용 기간 중 발생하는 콘크리트궤도의 장기 침하 거동을 합리적으로 예측하는 것이 필수적이다. 따라서, 본 연구에서는 다양한 인공지능 기술 중 순환신경망을 활용하여 콘크리트궤도의 장기 침하 거동을 예측하는 모델을 개발하였다. 또한 기존 모델의 침하 예측 결과와 비교를 통해 개발된 모델의 적용 가능성을 모색하였다.

  • This paper shows the institutional limits of technological innovation at the railway package service, that is the limits of introducing the package express system. The railway package service, owned by government and operated by D company, has been suffered severe operating loss since early 1990's. The package express system supported by information network and co-working with inner city quick service might be an solution for the railway package service. But there are several obstacles such as labor union and the rigidities of the Korean National Railroad of government agency.
