고속철도 궤도유지보수 일정계획에 관한 연구 (A Study on Track Maintenance Scheduling of High-Speed Railway)

  • The track of high-speed railway get deteriorated according as using it. In that case, the maintenance jobs are needed for improvement of track quality. A scheduling problem for the track maintenance of high-speed railway is to determine the jobs should be performed daily. In the problem, the set of jobs for maintenance is given. Each job has it's parameters such as due date, emergency level, and processing time. In addition, jobs can be worked during a certain fixed time when the train doesn't move. In this study, we developed a mathematical model of the scheduling problem for the maintenance of high-speed railway and solved the problem using the ILOG CPLEX library.

플로팅 슬래브 궤도용 방진시스템 개발 (The Development of a Floating Slab Track to Isolation System)

  • Recently the construction of stations under railway lines and railway sections passing through central area of cities are increasing, calling for an urgent establishment of countermeasures against railway vibration and its subsequent second-phase noise. Of technology developed up to now, the most efficient countermeasure is the floating slab track, a track system isolated from the sub-structure by springs. Unfortunately, however, the system design technology and technology for key components have not yet developed in Korea. As such, in this study, the analysis and design technology of floating slab track and its vibration isolator technology can be achieved. In preparation for future demands, it is expected to raise awareness for the need of technology self-support and to make a meaningful contribution to mitigating vibration and noise produced by the next-generation high-speed railway.

철도교량 단부 회전에 따른 콘크리트 궤도의 변형특성에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental Study on Characteristics of Deformation for Concrete Track on Railway Bridge Deck End induced by Bridge End Rotation)

  • 본 연구에서는 교량 단부의 레일지지점 간격, 교량과 교대사이 거리(유간) 및 교량 단부 회전각을 고려하여 콘크리트 궤도가 부설된 교량 단부 궤도의 거동을 분석하였다. 궤도구조가 고려된 교량 및 교대 시험체를 이용한 실내시험 결과, 동일한 유간(레일지지점 간격)에서 교량 단부 회전각이 증가함에 따라 레일의 변위가 선형적으로 비례하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 이러한 레일의 변위는 레일 및 체결구의 발생응력에 직접적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 실험결과를 바탕으로 다중 회귀분석을 수행하여 레일지지점 간격 및 교량의 단부 회전각을 매개변수로 하는 철도교량 단부 궤도의 궤도-교량 상호작용력 예측식을 도출하였다.

Formal Analysis of Automatic Train Protection and Block System for Regional Line Using VDM++

  • This paper introduced a novel railway system, Automatic Train Protection and Block (ATPB) briefly, which is proposed to improve the efficiency of existing regional train lines with low cost in Japan. The biggest superiority of ATPB system is a great use of universal and mature technologies, such as GPS and regular mobile telephone networks, so that there is nearly no increment of trackside equipments in the reconstruction. Then in order to guarantee the system safety, a formal model of ATPB is established and analyzed by formal method VDM++. Firstly, the specification is specified by VDM++ formally without ambiguity. Secondly, its internal consistency is proved by discharging the proof obligations. And finally, its satisfiability is checked by systematic testing, which executes specification and checks the outputs against corresponding inputs.

  • The risk of facilities in catenary is increasing because the railway section extension and high-speed train service. And visual check of workforce is not enough time to maintain the extensive railway facilities. Accordingly, The technical development trend of maintenance of railway facilities can be seen by automation and application of IT technology, especially the mechanization work and the information technology are spreading in the maintenance work of the train line solved by manpower. In this paper, we describe the method by obtaining the cantilever image using acquisition device and pole inspection system in high speed vehicle, to check the variation of the cantilever component using image processing.

  • Recently many disadvantageous problems have been found during the process of domestic LRT(Light Rail Transit) projects and that can influence negative effects on the development of domestic railway. Since many projects have been progressed while having few original technologies, it is no exaggeration to say that they are being built unreasonable railway which lacks economic feasibility. The on-going LRT projects which are being carried out by the central or local government have a tendency to favor the systems and rolling stocks that have been approved by other countries through years of experience, therefore it can be said that we are having few chances to develop original technologies. In this study, we would like to promote railway development and jump up to the level of advanced railway standards through developing our unique and independent future LRT technology.

  • PES have been recently required to implement railway industry for its application flexibility. The PES should be commensurated with railway safety requirements. It achieved its safety through redundant PES. The redundant systems run with voting functions. The successful major voting result becomes the output of the redundant system. The redundant system have to be synchronized to vote each output results. This paper proposed an algorithm for synchronizing and a voter. The proposed algorithm and the voter are verified using simulation.

도시철도 환경의 미세먼지 오염 현황 (Status of particulate matter pollution in urban railway environments)

  • The urban railway system is a convenient public transportation system, as it carries many people without increasing traffic congestion. However, air quality in urban railway environments is worse than ambient air quality due to the internal location of the source of air pollutants and the isolated space. In this paper, characteristics of particulate matter (PM) pollution in urban railway environments are described from the perspective of diurnal variation, chemical composition and source apportionment of PM. PM concentrations in concourse, platform, passenger cabin, and tunnel are summarized through an analysis of 34 journal articles published in Korea and overseas. This information will be helpful in developing effective policies to reduce PM pollution in urban railway environments.

  • Recently, in various industrial field standardization and performance improvement are actively on going. Noise barrier is generally used to reduce railway noise. But the effectiveness of its use is low because of low level of technology development. In this basic study, test item and its specification are suggested for standardization of railway noise barrier.

  • 유라시아 이니셔티브의 일환으로 남북철도 연결사업을 실시하고 이를 통한 철도 물류망을 확보할 경우 대한민국은 또다른 경쟁력을 확보하고 이를 바탕으로 한 성장의 한 기틀이 마련될 수 있을 것이다. 남북철도 연결사업에서 철도노반분야의 가장 중요한 부분은 북한철도의 개량 또는 건설이다. 북한의 경우 지질학적으로는 대한민국과 큰 차이를 보이고 있지 않으나 특히 동절기 기후는 큰 차이를 보이고 있다. 동절기 기후에서 가장 철도 운행 안전에 피해를 주는 것은 동상이다. 동상은 선로구조물의 융기를 유발하여 철도차량의 운행안정성에 큰 위험요소로 작용한다. 하지만 대한민국은 북한에 비하여 상대적으로 온화한 기후로 인하여 극한의 조건에 대한 연구가 부족하며, 철도설계기준에도 구체적인 방안이 없는 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 극한조건에서의 철도지하횡단구조물의 동상에 대하여 연구하였으며, 국외기준 분석 및 현장시공을 통한 철도설계기준 개정방안에 대하여 분석하였다.
