차상중심 열차제어시스템 실용화를 위한 트램 우선신호 전략 연구 (A Study on a Tram Signal Priority Strategy for Commercialization of the On-Board Oriented Train Control System)

  • For efficient and economical train operation in low-density railway line, on-board oriented train control system, which reduces expensive wayside equipment, is being developed. In this paper, we discuss a tram signal priority strategy which enables efficient and safe train operation when the developing system is applied to train-tram railway environment. Based on the well-known transit signal priority strategies, we develop a tram signal priority algorithm and conduct simulations by using model-based systems engineering (MBSE) tool. Various considerations such as operation procedure, linkage to existing road traffic system, applicability with respect to crossroad types, and so on, are also dealt with.

  • 저밀도 지선 구간의 운영 효율성 향상을 위한 ICT기반 차상중심 열차제어시스템이 제안되었다. 이와 더불어 기존 열차집중제어노선과 연계하는 새로운 ICT기반 지역제어센터 개발 또한 필요하다. 이러한 개발 시스템의 정량적 목표를 만족하기 위해서는 RAMS 활동이 요구된다. 본 논문에서는 예비위험원 분석을 통하여 위험원과 위험원 기여 인자를 도출하고, 위험도가 허용할 수 있는 수준으로 제어되도록 안전대책을 수립하였다.

LTE-R 기술을 적용한 입환진로표시기 무선제어시스템 연구 (A Study on the Wireless Control System for the Shunting Route Indicator Applied with LTE-R technology)

  • The railway has recently been expanded with the phase of the future transportation. Accordingly, using the new technologies such as smart devices and LTE-R, the needs for reducing operational costs and improving passenger services have emerged. To realize these needs, the government is pushing to build the dedicated wireless network for the railway systems. In this paper, the shunting route indicator was selected for this study because it has the best effect for the wireless system removed lots of wired cables. And the wireless shunting route indicator applied with LTE-R technology was developed to replace the current wired control system. The functional goal(the wireless control function applied LTE-R), the performance goal(less than 300ms for transferring the control information), and the reliability goal(over the 100,000 hours for MTBF) were set, and these goals were achieved and demonstrated through the test and validation.

  • In general, PID controller is widely used for speed control of motor. PID control method is easy and simple to set the control gains without model parameters. However, the precise and robust control of the motors needs complex and difficult control method. In this paper, we present a simple and robust speed controller for disturbances of a motor. The numerical simulation shows that the proposed control considering disturbances can improve the speed tracking performance more than PI control.

  • The propulsion system of next generation electric vehicle is different from the structure and control methods compared with conventional induction motor vehicles by applying an interior permanent magnetic synchronous motor. Permanent magnet motor should be controlled by each individual motor, propulsion device have 1C1M structure by a single inverter to control a single motor.

  • This paper proposes a simulation method of train control system to increase railroad transportation capacity in the Seoul Subway. Comparing with the conventional fixed block system, a new train operation method of "moving block system" shows a more capability of same railroad. A graphic simulation program is developed for application of moving block system to Seoul subway train control system. The result of the simulation program shows a shorten headway i.e. a more dense operation of trains and a higher efficiency of railroad with the suggested moving block system.

  • This paper gives a basic data of improving the performance of railroad signalling equipment by adopting GPS and wireless telecommunication technologies. These approach enable the moving block control of train, which can optimize train operation by reducing the distance between trains and maximize the railroad capacity. These method of detecting train position and controling train movement can also improve the train route control at stations.

  • This Paper presents a vector control method for the parallel-connected motor drive system. The new estimation scheme of rotor flux position is presented to reduce sensitivity due to load difference between the motors. To confirm the validity of the proposed control method, we compare a simulation result of the proposed control method with that of the conventional indirect vector control method. The simulation results show that the proposed control method is more effective step change in load torque.
