Patient Classification Scheme for Patient Information Management in Hospital U-Healthcare System (병원 의료시설 내 U-Healthcare 환경에서 환자 정보 관리를 위한 환자 세분화 기법)

  • UMSN (Ubiquitous Medical Sensor Network) is being used in u-Healthcare system of various medical facilities to identify objects and get information from sensors in real-time. RFID using radio frequency determines objects using Reader, which reads Tags attached to patients. However, there is a security vulnerability wherein Tag send its ID to illegal Reader because Tags always response to Readers request regarding of its Tag ID. In this paper, we propose Tag ID Classification Scheme to reduce Back-end Server traffic that caused by requests to authenticate between Readers and Tags that are attached to medical devices, patients, and sensors; To reduce security threats like eavesdropping and spoofing that sometimes occurred during authentication procedure. The proposed scheme specifies the patient category as a group based on patients Tag ID string. Only allowed Reader can perform authentication procedure with Back-end Server. As a result, we can reduce Back-end Server traffic and security threats.

  • EPCIS(EPC Information Services) system is a core component of EPCglobal Architecture Framework offering information of the freights, the time of awareness and the location of awareness on the EPCglobal Network. The role of EPCIS is to exchange information based on EPC. There are four kinds of event data which are object event data, aggregation event data, quantity event data, and transaction event data. These EPCIS events data are stored and managed in EPCIS repository. This study suggest the quantitative modeling about total number of EPCIS event data under the assumption to aware the RFID tags of items, cases(boxes), vehicles(carriers, forklifts, auto guided vehicles, rolltainers) at a time on the reading points. We also estimate the number of created EPCIS event data by the suggested quantitative modeling under scenario of process in the integrated logistics center based on RFID system And this study compare the TO-BE model with the AS-IS model about the total sizes of created EPCIS event data using the simulation, in which we suggested the TO-BE model as the development of the repository by skipping the overlapped records.

  • IPTV functions not only as media player that does play the broadcasting industry's contents, also as the gateway is guaranteed of QoS(Quality of Service). This is for free contents-sharing that device stores contents using home network circumstance, and is for watching with seamless network service. Also this have required next QoS model that can handle stably as it may contain more data of the small computing device in next generation home system. We need ubiquitous-oriented QoS's design and development project that focuses on internal and external media service, not the existing QoS nor one-sided QoS of media sevice industry. This paper focuses on network module development. This supports IPTV in media industry and two-way capability of QoS highlighting multimedia service in network industry. In additional, this can handle stably the multiplex signal of USN/RFID as the representative ubiquitous and home network that services high-speed wire and wireless interface, and support the seamless u-QoS.

  • In the present age, a vehicle works important part in our lives and economical domain that transport people, freights, and everything. And both of its number and value are increasing more and more. But user's convenience, control system could not be archived improvement than technological success. In this paper, we suggest some kinds of administrative agendas; simplifying executive processes, designing vehicle information system using by RFID which includes Ubiquitous skill and optical communication network. Especially, this paper suggests public vehicle control model which can simplify every executive processes of vehicle's life in the newest method. There are many kinds of RFID applicative products about transportation. And a dual invest should be interrupted for economical purpose. So this paper also proposes some way for problems of these types.

  • Recently, RFID/USN technology has been applied in various fields such as logistics, environment, education, home network, disaster prevention, military, and medical care, but despite the remarkable development of RFID/USN technology, it is difficult to apply it to marine industry due to the characteristics of poor marine environment. Therefore, satellites are mainly used in the marine sector, and existing communication networks are used in the coast, so measures for forming a shelf-only short-range network in the ocean are being considered. In this paper, we consider the use of drones as mobile base stations of USN as a base station role using USN in existing PS-LTE and LTE networks.Since autonomous navigation vessels are aiming for the intelligent system, the number of crew and labor force should be reduced and the function of autonomous network formation in the form of more stable and intelligent ICT convergence technology should be strengthened.

  • 본 논문에서는 EPCglobal Network 기반에서 RFID를 이용하여 상품의 판매와 재고를 실시간으로 모니터링하고 이를 효율적으로 관리할 수 있도록 실시간 판매 및 재고 관리 시스템을 제안한다. 제안하는 시스템은 RFID를 이용하여 매장의 진열상품과 재고상품에 대한 정보 파악이 실시간으로 가능하며, 지능형 학습에 의한 안전재고 임계값 계산 및 자동 공지 에이전트를 통해 효율적으로 자동 발주 프로세스를 지원해 줄 수 있어 상품 진열대 및 창고의 재고 상품을 효율적으로 관리할 수 있다. 또한 매장의 진열대 및 상품 보관 창고에 있는 상품의 부족 현상(결품)으로 인한 판매 손실을 최소화하기 위해 적시에 상품을 보충 할 수 있도록 지원이 가능하다.

  • This article introduces developing trends of an "Ubiquitous Interface" as an access method for use of various network resources, such as public wireless networks and un-licensed wireless networks in ubiquitous sensor network environments, without troublesome settings or operations by users. "Ubiquitous Interface" is include a relatively wide sense meaning not only physical interface of specified device or between processors, but anything method for access USN. These "Ubiquitous Interface" able to provide seamless services that adapt autonomously to the user's movements and changes in the state of wireless resources. Recently, strongly recommended candidates are RFID, NFC, Multi-mode mobile terminal, Wearable computer and OSGi for integrated digital home networking system as a future ubiquitous interface. These candidates are have to have flexibility and multiple physical communication channel for seamless service hand over and serve easy connection at huge USN to user. And, must have flexible software structure and multi-functional middleware. Consequently, for more enhance performance of an ubiquitous interface and developing, need more structured and integrated future plan.

  • 본 논문에서는 별도의 충돌 방지 메커니즘이 필요 없는 orthogonal code를 태그 ID로 부여함으로써 태그 인식을 간단하게 하는 메커니즘에 대해 설명한다. 첫 번째 적용 메커니즘으로 Local환경에서 Orthogonal code가 적용될 수 있는 여러 가지 응용 분야를 제안하고 두 번째로 Orthogonal code를 기존 ID 체계의 일부분으로 사용하여 anti-collision algorithm의 효율을 높이는 방법을 제시한다. 마지막으로 orthogonal code ID의 개수가 많아짐에 따라 code bit수가 길어지는 문제를 해결하기 위하여 code를 블록화 하여 사용 bit를 줄이는 메커니즘을 제시한다.

  • In order to monitor the anticancer drug in stable conditions, the Web based anticancer drug management system and alarm services were constructed and assessed in this study. Anticancer drug should be exact to the correct patient in the right environment. To overcome the restriction of existing equipment that only monitors fragmentarily, temperature and humidity were continuously monitored to maintain stable environments using sensor networks and RFID for the monitoring and management of anticancer drug. Construction drug identification and the effect of normal air outside the anticancer dispensary with obstacles were evaluated in working hour. Pre-installed control system in the dispensary could be alternated with auto sensing and alarming. We expected that the efficiency of anticancer drug management and the reliability of drug medication by handwork would be increase accordingly.

  • 최근 RFID/USN (Radio Frequency IDentity/Ubiquitous Sensor Network) 시장의 급격한 성장으로 비즈니스 영역에서 물류/유통 뿐만 아니라 국방, 창고 및 공정관리 등 영역을 지속적으로 확장하고 있다. 본 연구는 RFID를 이용한 농작물 개체관리와 USN을 이용한 농작물 생장환경 관리를 구현하고 두 시스템을 통합하는 비즈니스 모델(한국형 u-Farm 모델)을 제시하였다. 이를 통하여 소비자에게는 농작물 이력데이터를 제공하여 상품에 대한 신뢰성을 확보할 수 있고, 생산자는 생장환경정보를 주기적으로 획득하여 최적의 생산조건을 구현하는 기반을 마련하였다.
