  • General framework for proximal point algorithms based on the notion of (A, ${\eta}$)-maximal monotonicity (also referred to as (A, ${\eta}$)-monotonicity in literature) is developed. Linear convergence analysis for this class of algorithms to the context of solving a general class of nonlinear variational inclusion problems is successfully achieved along with some results on the generalized resolvent corresponding to (A, ${\eta}$)-monotonicity. The obtained results generalize and unify a wide range of investigations readily available in literature.

  • This paper describes design of a (32, 28) Reed Solomon decoder for optical compact disk provides double error detecting and correcting capability. The most complex circuit in the RS decoder is part for solving the error location numbers from error location polynomial, and the circuit has great influence on overall decoder complexity. We use RAM based architecture with Euclid algorithm, Chien search algorithm and Forney algorithm. We have developed VHDL model and Performed logic synthesis using the SYNOPSYS CAD tool. Then, the RS decoder has been implemented with FPGA. The total umber of gate is about 11,000 gates and it operates at 20MHz.

  • First the notion of the A-monotonicity is applied to the approximation - solvability of a class of nonlinear variational inclusion problems, and then the convergence analysis is given based on a projection-like method. Results generalize nonlinear variational inclusions involving H-monotone mappings in the Hilbert space setting.

  • In this paper we introduce a compensation of nonlinearity Heterodyne laser interferometer. The Laser Interferometer is used for length measurement in various industries. However, it has nonlinearity error caused by the imperfect optical equipment. This acts as an obstacle in the measurement improvement. We propose an adaptive error compensation using least mean square(LMS) to improve precision.

  • The extraordinary intrinsic properties of SiC have made this material a suitable choice to use in high temperature, high frequency, and high voltage applications. In additional to these, SiC could be employed as the based material for nonvolatile memory applications, mainly due to its extremely low thermal-generation rate at room temperature. In this paper, the reasons of using this material in this particular application is presented and the development of the application over the past fifteen years is reviewed.

  • New time schemes based on the FEM were developed and their performances were tested with 2D wave equation. The least-squares and weighted residual methods are used to construct new time schemes based on traditional residual minimization method. To overcome some drawbacks that time schemes based on the least-squares and weighted residual methods have, ad-hoc method is considered to minimize residuals multiplied by others residuals as a new approach. And variational method is used to get necessary conditions of ad-hoc minimization. A-stability was chosen to check the stability of newly developed time schemes. Specific values of new time schemes are presented along with their numerical solutions which were compared with analytic solution.

  • Report ferroelectric memories based on 0.35$\mu\textrm{m}$ CMOS technology ensuring ten-year retention and imprint at 175$^{\circ}C$. This excellent reliability resulted from newly developed BT-based ferroelectric films with superior reliability performance at high temperatures, and also resulted from robust integration schemes free from ferroelectric degradation due to process impurities such as moisture and hydrogen. The superior reliabilities at high temperature of ferroelectric memories using BT-based films are due to the random orientation by special bake treatments.
