  • Throughout this paper, we denote that R is a near-ring and G an R-group. We initiate a study of R-substructures of G, monogenic R-groups, faithful R-groups and faithful D.G. representations of near-rings. Next, we investigate some properties of monogenic R-groups, faithful monogenic R-groups and a generalization of annihilator concepts in R-groups.

  • Throughout this paper, we will consider that R is a near-ring and G an R-group. We initiate the study of monogenic, strongly monogenic R-groups, 3 types of nonzero R-groups and their basic properties. At first, we investigate some properties of D.G. (R, S)-groups, faithful R-groups, monogenic R-groups, simple and R-simple R-groups. Next, we introduce modular right ideals, t-modular right ideals and 3 types of primitive near-rings. The purpose of this paper is to investigate some properties of primitive types near-rings and their characterizations.

  • In this paper, we will introduce the noetherian quotients in R-groups, and then investigate the related substructures of the near-ring R and G and the R-group G. Also, applying the annihilator concept in R-groups and d.g. near-rings, we will survey some properties of the substructures of R and G in monogenic R-groups and faithful R-groups.

  • In this paper, all near-rings R are left near-rings and all representations of R are (right) R-groups. We start with a study of AR, almost AR and AGR rings which are motivated by the works on the Sullivan's Problem [10] and its properties. Next, for any R-group G, we introduce a notion of R-groups with M R-property and investigate their properties and some characterizations of these R-groups. Finally, for the faithful M R-property, we get a commutativity of near-rings and rings.

  • The purpose of this study was to evaluate the effect of various metal surface treatments on the shear bond strength between titanium denture base and relined resins. The surfaces of commercially pure(cp) titanium were sandblasted with $50{\mu}m$ $Al_2O_3$ for 20 seconds and each group was treated with MR $Bond^{(R)}$, Alloy $Primer^{(R)}$, and Super-Bond $C&B^{(R)}$ accordingly. The specimens were completed by application of relining resins. The specimens were stored in room temperature. And the shear bond strength of the specimens were measured with the MTS universal testing $machine^{(R)}$. The results were as follows: 1. In comparison with the relining materials, $Kooliner^{(R)}$ groups showed statistically higher shear bond strength than Tokuyama Rebase $II^{(R)}$ groups(p<0.05). 2. Comparing shear bond strength, according to surface treatment, Super-bond $C&B^{(R)}$ groups showed the highest bond strength and were significantly higher than the other three groups(p<0.05). Alloy $Primer^{(R)}$ groups showed no significant difference with the MR $Bond^{(R)}$ groups, but was significantly higher than the sandblasting-only groups(p<0.05). 3. Comparing surface treatment in each groups, for two types of relining resin, the group which applies $Kooliner^{(R)}$ and Super-bond $C&B^{(R)}$ showed the highest bond strength and showed significant difference compared to the other groups(p<0.05). When using Tokuyama Rebase $II^{(R)}$, Super-bond C&B group showed the highest bond strength, but there were no significant difference compared to the Alloy $Primer^{(R)}$ group. In this limited study, applying $Kooliner^{(R)}$ and Super-Bond $C&B^{(R)}$ after sandblasting is considered to be advantageous for relining of titanium base dentures.

  • Statement of problem: The sealing of the opened dentinal tubules that follows the tooth preparation for the prosthodontic restoration is considered as clinical process to reduce postoperative sensitivity. Purpose: This study investigated the effect of desensitization treatment on shear bond strength of luting cements. Materials and Method: Total 80 dentin specimens were divided into two groups according to the kinds of luting cements. Each groups was further divided into 4 subgroups with AQ $bond^{(R)}$, $Saforide^{(R)}$, Diode laser $MDL-10^{(R)}$ application and without desensitization treatment. After desensitization treatment application, Ni-Cr specimens were luted to dentin surface with Fuji $CEM^{(R)}$ and $Panavia-F^{(R)}$. Specimens were placed in distilled water at $37^{\circ}C$ for 24 hours and shear bond strength between metal and dentin was measured by a universal testing machine. Results: 1. In Fuji $CEM^{(R)}$ cemented groups, the combination of AQ $bond^{(R)}$ showed the greatest strength, followed by diode laser, no desensitizer treatment, and $Saforide^{(R)}$. Both AQ $bond^{(R)}$ and Diode laser groups had a significant difference than no desensitization treatment group and $Saforide^{(R)}$ group(p<0.05). 2. In $Panavia-F^{(R)}$ cemented groups, the combination of Diode laser showed the greatest strength, followed by AQ $bond^{(R)}$, $Saforide^{(R)}$, and No desensitization treatment. All desensitization treatment groups had a significant difference than no desensitization treatment group(p<0.05). 3. All $Panavia-F^{(R)}$ groups showed a significant higher shear bond strength than all Fuji $CEM^{(R)}$ groups(p<0.05). Conclusion: The results of this study showed possibility of bond strength increase after desensitization treatment. The application of desensitization treatments like AQ $bond^{(R)}$, $Saforide^{(R)}$, and Diode laser $MDL-10^{(R)}$ have advantages in exposed dentin surface after tooth prep.
