The stronghold diffusion style method is resident participation style residential environment improvement plan that first of all, the general public constructs base facilities which the temporary occupancy public housings, commonness use facilities, roads, etc. And then with using the public housing of the stronghold sector, the resident oneself improves the house with independence or commonness. As a result induction of the voluntary participation of economic situation and the resident where the improvement will is reflected and introduction of versatile maintenance method through stronghold development with participation of the general public, this study tries to present the residential improvement method of diffusion style. San-Jun was selected in the subject of investigation area in stronghold diffusion style residential environmental improvement plan area. Investigation contents population register quality and quality of present house, the degree which is a house environmental improvement plan, about residential improvement the fact etc. Because unsatisfactorily in compliance with the deterioration and spatial narrow of the house, The above of half is an improvement intention. Hereafter residential improvement, According to the condition which is economic, residential improvement will change. The plan will be able to augment the economic enemy capability of the resident should grope and the residents oneself creates the environment will be able to improve the house. Also with creating, activating a resident organization, through autonomous decision-making process, the residential improvement could be advanced continuously.

Purpose - Appropriate project management knowledge as well as its effective application in the construction industry increase construction quality and, therefore, reduce fatalities and destruction. Research design, data, and methodology - This study was conducted through a comparative analysis of earthquake fatalities in Iran, Turkey, Pakistan, Indonesia, China, Haiti, Japan, and the United States of America. The data was analyzed using a frequency study. The analysis contrasts the fatalities of some of the strongest earthquakes around the world between 1960 and 2010. Results - Poor quality construction practices and a lack of effective application of project management knowledge play a major role in the vast destruction, high death toll, and dismal tragedies that are associated with earthquakes, especially in Iran. Conclusions - Despite the history of tragic earthquakes and their continuing recurrence, this study attempts to make governments, companies, and disaster management personnel aware of the dangers of poor quality construction and the deficient application of project management knowledge and, further, accentuates effective ways to prevent the probability of serious damage in future. This study contains valuable information on the effects of project management application towards reducing earthquake fatalities and destruction.

In contemporary housing design, this cultural value has been ignored. Contemporary design has adapted quickly to global trends and houses have gradually lost their cultural identity (GhaffarianHoseini & Dahlan, 2012; Lim, 2001). Nevertheless, traditional housing culture persists in people's behavior and thoughts. Therefore, there is currently a pressing need to rebuild cultural identity in housing for cultural sustainability. This study aimed to analyze the traditional culture which was maintained, then transformed and disappeared in housing design through the quantitative survey and explore the cultural identity of Malaysian housing as a result. A quantitative survey was distributed to mothers of 129 married households living in a metropolitan area of Kuala Lumpur in August 2019. As a result, it was found that hosting guest was important even though the designated space (serambi) was disappeared. The LD/K layout, separating kitchen from living and dining area was philosophical and practical culture, still strong among older generation, but weakened among younger generation. To accommodate the traditional habit of diverse household work, wet kitchen, utility space for washing machine & drying, and outdoor space were needed to design carefully. When applied to future housing design, the findings will contribute to enhancing quality of life by strengthening residents' sense of place and social cohesion and by providing a culturally inherent design that eases the effects of globalization.
The industrialized countries have promoted the rehabilitation of existing housing units as a national agenda, such as green policies, whereas korea, although having a housing stock as huge as that of world countries, have focused on the growth of housing by constructing new units rather than rehabilitating existing ones. Today, it has been so long since many multiple dwellings in Seoul and in the vicinity of Seoul were constructed. There were, however, very few political efforts to encourage the rehabilitation of housing. Today, substantial time has passed since multiple dwellings in Seoul and the first-stage new cities such as Bundang and Ilsan were constructed. What is required to maintain the quality of the existing housing and use it with safety is to promote the engineer of maintenance for multiple dwellings to work the maintenance of existing multiple dwellings. The objective of this study is to compare and analyze the maintenance qualification system of multiple dwellings of Japan, and then to propose to raise engineers of maintenance for multiple dwellings in korea.

The government began to move large scale factories in city out to the suburbs because the city we live in is getting over-populated and becoming a highly congested district. However, because of alteration of use The transfed site of factory became to be mixed and used in residence and factory facility. Lately, as criminal technique and personality become cruel and feral, crime occurrence rose on the one of most important thing that decide resident's quality of life. This research tries to find come fear element which resident feel in sub-industry and improvement item for crime prevention. The purpose of this survey is to prevent crime by developing a proper housing environment. The survey was planned to find out factors of resident's awareness of fear about crime through pre-study and analyzed physical surrounding through spot survey. Through these investigation, can make following conclusion. First, The importance of lighting plan throughout the city is necessary to decrease fear of crime. Second, active crime prevention activity is required in park and playgrounds.

Living environments in rural area have become deteriorated rapidly. Increase of aging population, decline in agricultural income, polarization of wealth in rural community due to rural returners have caused severe decline and imbalance of living environments in rural area. Responding to this circumstances, governments currently develop projects for improving living environments focusing on individual housing which were excluded from governmental supports because those had been regarded as private property. Nevertheless, there are still some gaps and problems in evaluating the quality of living environment and suggesting effective solutions. It would be because standards and guidelines of the projects have been based on urban housing system. In order to support the implementation of the projects, this research has developed an index for evaluating and monitoring the quality of living environments in rural area. By applying Delphi method, the index has been created in four categories of 'security', 'convenience', 'comfortability', and 'durability' 'Security' consists of structural safety, crime, disaster, accident prevention. 'Convenience' includes three divisions of living, traffic, farm working. 'Comfortability' is divided into sanitation, indoor environments, and aesthetic appreciation. Lastly, 'durability' has four divisions of energy conservation, environmental friendliness, efficiency, and economics. Each sub-division also has different items from three to twelves. In the case of an index for performance evaluation, items have been derived from energy conservation(6-items), and environmental friendliness(7-items). Items developed as an index for evaluating rural living environments in this research might be good background information for remodeling project in rural housing development.
Using the Artificial Neural Network model and Binary Logistic Regression model, this study investigates influence factors on the quality of life in terms of housing environment during the COVID-19 in Seoul. The results show that the lower the satisfaction level of housing policy, the lower the quality of life in the employment field and the lower the quality of residential field. On the other hand, permanent workers and self-employed respondents have experienced improvement in residential quality during the pandemic. A limitation of this study is associated with disentangling the causal relationship using the 'black box' characteristics of ANN method.
Housing benefits service that was implemented according to the National Basic Livelihood Security Act in 2002 has been changed with the enactment of "Housing benefits Law"(2014.1.24). Though the service was conducted for 13 years to improve the living environment of recipient households and create self-supporting jobs for low-income, there was a limit to ensure the efficiency due to variations in the administrative act and implementation in local governments. For that reason, the sales account and the profits of self-supporting enterprises and their cooperative in housing welfare sector that played a pivotal role had gone through many ups and downs and that is why the national coalition of self-supporting enterprises that were newly formed are forced to take self-effort and play a leading role for the improvement of future beneficiaries' satisfaction, namely to develop the level of service to keep the decent jobs consistent for low-income while responding institutional policy change and the demands for improving the home-amelioration system. Accordingly, this article has attempted to supplement existing research on housing-benefits service and determine how the field can keep pace with the new institutional environment. As a result, first, Central self-supporting enterprises provide high specialized-quality services to low-income families, second, central self-supporting enterprises induce to transition customized service agencies for improving the quality of residential housing benefits, Third, Housing self-supporting enterprises should correspondence with institutional change through the provision of explicit guidelines in relating to housing-service amelioration, the last, business practical process shall be accompanied by a consistent basis for innovative and procedural standards.

This research is concerned with environment problems related to Munhwa-Maul where Korean government are financially much supporting in developing housing sites and constructing houses. The purposes of this research are to find out the problems and to present the practical guidelines in order to improve an environmental quality of Munhwa-Maul in which will be under construction in the near future. The method for finding out the problems are based upon the most atisfaction and dissatisfaction of residents with opened interview. Both Mueur Munhwa-Maul and Umo Munhwa-Maul are considered for this research because Mueur Munhwa-Maul is characterized with a modern village where is located far from the city while Uo Munhwa-Maul, near the city. Also, these Munhwa-Mauls have been firstly constructed. The interview participants are 34 persons in all. They are confined to Mueur Munhwa-Maul and Umo Munhwa Maul that have been firstly constructed in Kyeongook. According to the interviews, each 60% of both Mueur Munhwa-Maul interview participants and Umo Munhwa-Maul ones have shown the their most positive satisfaction in a new housing and facility. It can be seen from that these figures that housing environment including facility of both Munhwa-Mauls is surely improved and successful. On the other hand, 43.8% of Mueur Munhwa-Maul participants and 14% of Umo Munhwa-Maul ones have particularly shown the most negative satisfaction in a size of housing lot. Also, 15.6% of Mueur Munhwa-Maul interview participant and 44% of Umo Munhwa-Maul ones have stated the most dissatisfaction in a traffic convenience. The reasons showing these differences are likely that 90% of Mueur Munhwa-Maul residents are farmer while 85% of Umo Munhwa-Maul ones are not farmer. With this results the purpose of munhwa-Maul project that government has been supporting and the reality of Umo Munhwa-Maul could be never coincident. Therefore, it can be inferred that housing layout should be reconsiderd to be appropriate for agriculture and that the government should carefully consider the contributions of new housing lot to real farmers. In addition, we can say that Munhwa-Maul project should be firstly accomplished in the district far from the city rather than near the city.
The purpose of this study was analyzing the Transforming Characteristics of the Entrance of Privately-built Apartment housing in Daegu from the 1970s to the 2000s. First of all, this study made an investigation into the general situation of Privately-built Apartment housing and the general idea of the Entrance. Through a field study, This study was analyzing change of an era of entrance of Apartment housing till quite recently existing in Daegu. The results are as the body III follows. Results of the research through change of an era is as follows. The change tendency is not to be big before 2003, but It has under gone change after 2003. Studies show that It is the care for the old and the weak, to take interest in natural lighting, to be going to change from passing the time of space to staying space and more space, to show interest in the preservation of public peace and design. So, The Entrance of Apartment housing has a bias towards more elegant. This research look forward to having an intention of furnishing preliminary data for a residence environment of high quality.
