In this paper, we address the Bayesian hypotheses testing for the comparison of Weibull distributions. In Bayesian testing problem, conventional Bayes factors can not typically accommodate the use of noninformative priors which are Improper and are defined only up to arbitrary constants. To overcome such problem, we use the recently proposed hypotheses testing criterion called the intrinsic Bayes factor. We derive the arithmetic and median intrinsic Bayes factors for the comparison of Weibull lifetime model and we use these results to analyze real data sets.

This study is designed to compare the evaluations of university students on clothing before and after the IMF crisis in Korea. The conclusions of this study are as follows : First, consumers' perceived quality, value and purchase willingness on high price are raised after the IMF crisis in single cue context. Second. consumers' perceived quality, value and purchase willingness on famous brand are raised after the IMF crisis in single cue context. Third, brand has more effect on quality and purchase willingness than price after the IMF crisis. Fourth, consumers' perceived value and purchase willingness get based on the comparison of both pence and brand after the IMF crisis. Fifth, the highest purchase willingness of university students occurs in the multiple cue context of low price and famous brand both before and after the IMF crisis.

We produced the apple vinegar with only apple fruits, no adding sugar and others through two stages fermentation(alcohol fermentation and acetic acid fermentation). At the first stage, apple wine contained 5% alcohol was produced at the 5th day. And through the second stage, acetic acid fer mentation, apple vinegars of which total acidity is 5.88% were produced. In comparision with com mercial vinegars for physicochemical quality, it was the lowest in total acidity. But contents of oxalic, tartaric, malic, citric, succinic acid in it were higher than other vinegars. Especially the content of malic acid in it was higher 5 times than other vinegars. Malic acid was known that it was abundant in apple fruits. Also the contents of free amino acids were distinctly high such as 21.97mg% in two stages fermented apple vingars. Potassium content in it was higher 4 times than other vinegars. So it was supposed that two stages fermented vinegar had much higher quality than commercial vinegars.

Process capability indices as an important kind of indices are intended to provide single-number assessments of the inherent process capability to meet specification limits on quality characteristic(5) of interest. In this paper the condition for the application of process capability indices is analyzed. On the basis of process capability indices, dynamic process capability indices as a new kind of indices to show the current process capability are discussed and the condition for the application of dynamic process capability indices is exhibited. Comparison between process capability index and dynamic process capability index and comparison between $D_p$ and $D_pk$ are made and the conclusions provide the approach for process control. According to the requirement of process capability indices provided by customer, quality control based on process capability indices dynamic process capability indices is discussed.

The Conventional noise control attempts to simply reduce the level of product noise. But it is very straight forward way that we have consider human perception on noise. Since human listening is very sensitive to sound. Evaluation of the sound quality of a Vacuum Cleaner is studied base on human sensibility engineering. In this paper, we choose two Vacuum Cleaners that are sold in Korea and reduced noise control. Comparison Method is used to evaluate noise and preference of Vacuum Cleaner by steps. The sound quality of Vacuum Cleaner noise is analyzed by employing the subjective evaluation and by representing them in terms of the objective quantities. Semantic Differential Method is used to study sound quality Evaluation. To analyze the sound quality of Vacuum Cleaner noise, consider the coefficients of correlation between sound metrics and subjective rating. The linear regression models were obtained for the subjective evaluation and sound quality metrics.

Purpose: This paper compares and discusses the influence on the quality classification of Kano's questionnaire which is used for the Kano model(Kano et al., 1984), the 3-point Likert-scale newly proposed by Kano and the 5-point Likert-scale presented in this study. Methods: For the comparison, the current study conducts a survey of 631 television viewers. The classification results of the three methods are then compared with those of direct classification which is adopted as a standard for classification of quality attributes. Results: The agreement rates between the results using conventional Kano's questionnaire and the results using direct classification is higher than the results using 3-point and 5-point Likert-scales. In addition, the attributes grouped as must-be or attractive in the direct classification appear to be classified as one-dimensional attributes in the Likert-scales. Conclusion: In comparison with the convensional Kano's questionnaire, the Likert-scale questions highly tend to classify the quatity attributes as one-dimensional. Although the classification results of the 3-point and 5-point Likert-scales are the same, the 5-point Likert-scale has the advantage to classify quality attributes in more detail.

In case of sensory evaluation with multi-samples and long-period, in spite of using method with good sensitivity, quality differences among samples could net be detected well because of panel's fatigue and tiredness. So new method to reduce panel's sense of psychological and physiological responsibility, "Trio Paired Comparison", is designed, and New Modified Scheffe's Method 2 as the statistical method for a test of "Trio Paired Comparison" is proposed. And also in this paper problems and countermeasures in applicating "Trio Paired Comparison" are considered.
