Realization of a neural network controller by using iterative learning control (반복학습 제어를 사용한 신경회로망 제어기의 구현)

  • We propose a method of generating data to train a neural network controller. The data can be prepared directly by an iterative learning technique which repeatedly adjusts the control input to improve the tracking quality of the desired trajectory. Instead of storing control input data in memory as in iterative learning control, the neural network stores the mapping between the control input and the desired output. We apply this concept to the trajectory control of a two link robot manipulator with a feedforward neural network controller and a feedback linear controller. Simulation results show good generalization of the neural network controller.

  • The present study examined the characteristics of high speed welding thin metal sheet using single mode fiber laser of averaged maximum output power 300 W. Due to the fiber laser that has a good quality of beam can make a very small focusing beam size, thin metal sheet welding and high speed key hole welding can be peformed by high power density.

  • Multiple antenna technologies have received high attention in the last few decades for their capabilities to improve the overall system performance. Multiple-input multiple-output systems include a variety of techniques capable of not only increase the reliability of the communication but also impressively boost the channel capacity. In addition, smart antenna systems can increase the link quality and lead to appreciable interference reduction.

  • The performance measurement and evaluation system is required on automotive engines to analyze engine characteristics. In this study, data acquisition is established by installing various sensors of temperature,pressure, gas amount, RPM, Torque,.etc to engines, and the modeling of evaluation system is suggested. Also a data base management system is developed for verifying the quality of automotive parts which effect engine characteristics and the output module is presented to be used as certification sheets in automotive and part manufacturer.

  • This paper described the implementation of high speed transmission fort medical image between hospitals using ISDN. The implemented system, called PC-card, can transmit datas as 144Kbps and can install in the personal computer. So, this enables to get more reliable medical image with less cost, and to service the better quality for an unurbanized area.   • With the progress of industrial technology, industrial machinery and home appliances have multi-function and high performances by the electronic control technology. Various results are given from the measuring switching induction noise according to environmental condition and its effects cannot be predicted accurately. Therefore, the output results should be analyzed and applied to practical work. To minimize the false operation, Taguchi Method used to solve the quality problem is adopted to analyze the characteristics within the constrained measuring level.

  • The digital computer control systems which are used in time sharing control or remote control may experience intermittent interruptions. Further it can be made unstable by the intermittent interruptions of a control computer. This paper presents a mathematical model with intermittent computer interruptions and an unstable output response through simulation. Also it presents to improve the control quality using extrapolation method in interrupt synchronizing feedback path.

  • The aim of this work is to verify the self-quality assurances in medical institutions in Korea through the external audits by the group of experts and have a mutual discussion of the systematic problems. In order to validate the external audits 30 of 80 medical institutions across the nation were picked out considering the regional distribution and the final 25 institutions applied voluntarily to take part in this work. The basic rules were setup that any information of the participants be kept secrete and the measurements be performed with the dosimetry system already verified through intercomparision. The outputs for 2 or more photon beams, the accuracy of gantry rotation and collimator rotation and the poistional accuracy of MLC movement were measured. The findings for the output measurement showed the differences of -0.8%~4.5%, -0.79%~3.01%, and -0.7%~0.07% with respect to that of the verified dosimetry system for the 6MV, 10MV, and 15MV, respectively. For the reference absorbed dose 8 (16%) of 50 photon beams in 25 medical institutions differed 2.0% or greater from the reference value. The coincidences of Field size with x-ray beam and radiation isocenters of Gantry roration and collimator rotation gave the results of within ${\pm}2$ mm for every institute except 2 institutions. The positional accuracy of MLC movement agreed to within ${\pm}1$ mm for every institute. For the beam qualities of 6 MV photon beams kQ values showed the distribution within 0.4% between maximum and minimum. For the protocols 21 institutions (84%) used absorbed dose to water based protocol while 4 insitutions (16%) used air kerma based one. 22 institutions employed the SSD technique while 3 institutions did the SAD one. External audit plays an important role in discovering the systematic problems of self-performing Quality Assurances and having in depth discussion for mutual complementation. Training experts of international level as well as national support system are required so that both the group of experts of medical physicists and government laboratory could perform together periodical and constant external audits.

Output power characteristics of a CW Nd:YVO4/KTP laser pumped by a tunable Ti:Sapphire laser (파장가변 티타늄 사파이어 레이저로 펌핑하는 연속발진 Nd:YVO4/KTP 레이저의 출력 특성)

  • We measured the absorption rate of a Nd:YVO$_4$crystal with a thickness of 1 mm and the output power characteristics of a cw Nd:YVO$_4$/KTP laser with respect to the change of wavelength and the polarizations of a tunable Ti:sapphire pump laser with a linewidth of 0.2 nm. In the case of S-polarization (E┴$\pi$) and P-polarization (E∥$\pi$) of a pump laser, the maximum absorption rate of the crystal was 82% at 809.4 nm and 98% at 808.8 nm, and slope efficiencies for the output power of the Nd:YVO$_4$laser (1064 nm) were 43% and 52%, respectively. The maximum Nd:YYO$_4$laser output power of 516 mW was obtained from the P-polarization pump laser of 1000 mW. As a result of an intracavity frequency-doubling, slope efficiency for the output power of the Nd:YVO$_4$/KTP green laker (532nm) was 23% and the maximum output power of 205 mW with the beam quality (M$^2$) of 1.42 was obtained from the P-polarization pump laser of 1000 mW.
