Purpose - The purpose of the study was to develop a reliable measurement tool for the evaluation of TQM application in Greek education settings and to examine the factors that determine quality of education. Research design, data, and methodology - A questionnaire commencing from the questions included in the Application Guide of Common Assessment Framework was used for research purposes. Each item was scored on a 5point Likert scale - to a sample of 112 educators (55 men, 57 women), all teachers working in public primary education schools. Factor analysis resulted in a questionnaire of 43 items consisting of five factors, teacher satisfaction, school management and operation, motivation, effectiveness of public school leadership and finance management. Results - Results revealed a positive correlation among all factors. Reliability results using Cronbach's α was high (a=.961) for all factors of the questionnaire ranging from α=.930 (for motivation) to α=.797 (for financial management). Additionally, ICC procedure revealed high values for the above mentioned factors. Conclusions - The study resulted in the construction of a reliable questionnaire focused exclusively on TQM that can be used in future studies using larger samples in different areas so as to draw useful conclusions regarding TQM application in Greek education settings and further identify the factors determining quality in education.

This paper presents a research model, which identifies a relationship between medical error reduction, efficiency of organizational systems, and employee satisfaction with organizational support. The proposed model was tested through hypotheses, based on data collected from 210 respondents from the medical staff of large -sized (i.e., more than 500 beds) residential hospitals in cities of South Korea. The results of the study showed that medical error reduction is associated with corrective system and employee satisfaction with organizational support. Therefore, it is very important that organizations improve their employees' satisfaction by providing sufficient support (e.g., information support and sharing, work guide book, etc.) for their work. In addition, in organizational systems, the corrective system has positive relationship with medical error reduction. In terms of corrective procedures, leaders or managers can make improvements by providing and supporting a friendly work environment where errors may be reported without blame and discussed in order to be corrected.

Measurement is used for evaluation of product or process exactly. If it couldn't measured correctly, Quality-cost must be raised and it would be hard to improve product quality. So, this study suggests improvement guide line for the multilateral problems of measuring instrument operation based on the investigation of 157 small and medium-sized enterprises in February, 2008. To use measuring instrument correctly, man who treat it must be accustomed with the structure, the performance, the method. The instrument is selected properly for the measurement goal. If not, results couldn't be correctly or wasted time, efforts, and costs. When selecting a instrument, the tolerance, the size, the figure, the material, and the efficiency must be considered. If the measuring instruments are controlled efficiently, it could be accomplished that improving product quality and coinciding with the goal of QM.

SW 개발 프로젝트 시, SW 품질 및 생산성 향상에 저해 되는 SW공학 가이드 부재가 존재한다. 그 중에서 SW공학 발전과 전문 SW공학 인력 양성의 필요성 인식이 존재하고 있다. SW공학 인력의 역량과 전문성을 강화시킬 수 있는 지속적 성장 체계 확립과 인력 활용 가이드 제시를 위하여 본 논문에서는 SW공학 표준 커리큘럼 개발을 소개한다. 프로젝트 수행 시 SW공학 표준 커리큘럼은 SW공학 전문 인력 확보를 위한 기준을 제시 하여, 조직 SW 공학 역량 강화를 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 SW개발 프로세스에 대해 설명하는 SW프로세스와 SW품질 교육과정을 소개하고자 한다.

This Paper provides perceptual metrics for video quality based on properties of human visual system, and audio quality based on human audition. All metrics work without reference signals, allowing non-intrusive, in-service measurements. A simple and easy-to-learn user interface displays the metrics and saves them in popular file formats like CSV. In this paper, proposed method was able to various and corrective measurement for the multimedia service video quality. As that it was able to application to set up service guide line and the methode of measurement and system for the set up standardization of the high quality video service.

The objective of this study to investigate the satisfaction of elementary and middle school students in Chungnam province. We surveyed related to school food service, concerns about food ingredients and dietary life, perceptions of free school food service and satisfaction the quality and management of the school food service. Furthermore, this survey with the previous. Compared to year, frequency of education related to school food service and concerns about food ingredients and dietary life. Perception on free school food service increased 1.2%, not statistically significant. Satisfaction for the quality of the school food service statistically significant increase compared to 2015. ore individuals educated the foods' county-of-origin and a higher concern the food materials and dietary life, subsequently higher satisfaction for the quality and management of school food service. The results of this study suggest that concern and concentration on software of school food service such as education and guide are important.

Viewed as a more systematic approach of creating high quality products and bringing them into market at a lower cost and in significantly less time, it attracts the attention of quality designers to quality function deployment (QFD) approach. In attempt to reduce the design cycle, the industry has responded with concurrent design effort. In a sense, concurrent engineering refers to the integration of various activities within the broad scope of the product life cycle ［17］. Over the last ten years, much has been written about QFD but little has been available in terms of the underlying guide methodology. The methodology of QFD is quite simple and many will say that they have done it in the past but just have not formalized it into the form that this discipline requires. QFD ties the product, user, value, and manufacturing viewpoints together in a continuous process of defining the product design and manufacturing requirements. The value viewpoint recognizes the cost to obtain certain functionality, and the manufacturing viewpoint addresses conformance to requirements, but in a broader sense, the variability in production. In this paper, the QFD system acquisitions are described, and two heuristic approaches solving for the complex design process, especially the size reduction of design process and precedence-constrained relationship in QFD are proposed, and the empirical example is illustrated.

Cost, schedule, and quality are the three major performance indicators for any construction project. Under the globalized competition in the nuclear industry, researchers and practitioners have also explored a systemized and integrated management system for cost, schedule, and quality. In order to address this issue, the concept of earned value management system (EVMS) has been often utilized. However, implementing EVMS for a mega-project of nuclear power plant (NPP) construction requires extensive overhead efforts. Though previous studies proposed structures and methods for effective NPP EVMS, there has been no legitimate study for data collection strategy for practical implementation. In this context, the purpose of this paper is to develop an effective data collection strategy for NPP EVMS. Firstly, the barriers to practical NPP EVMS were identified based on literature review and expert interviews. Strategies for data collection were then developed based on different phases of project life cycle. This study focuses on the 'life-cycle integrated progress management system' for NPP construction from an owner's perspective Therefore, results of this study can be used as a guide for preparing request for proposals (RFP) of an NPP owner organization.

The objective of this research is to develop a robust design methodology for plastic injection molded parts wherein warpage will be minimized by a complex method which is a kind of a simple direct search method. The design space considered for optimization is divided Into two sub-design space : mold and process conditions. Warpage is quantified using the Moldflow injection molding simulation software. The design methodology was applied to an actual part of a fax machine, the Guide-ASF model, through two different design policies. The significance of this study is the synthesis of a computer simulation of injection molding process and optimization technique to determine the optimal robust design solution.
