This study is for understanding the experiences of students and lecturers in education course for the certification of the long-term caregiver. Samples are 12 students who had completed the course and 7 lecturers. The depth-interview is performed for gathering information and the phenomenological approach is applied to analyse the cases. 33 meanings, 15 themes and 4 theme clusters for students and 25 meanings, 11 themes and 4 theme clusters are found from the cases. Students' experiences are 'vague motivation for enrollment', 'low quality of education,' 'lack of professional skills after the completion of the course,' 'needs for improvement the course' and lecturers' experiences are 'more interests in benefits than study(students' motivation),' 'low quality of education,' 'lack of governmental administration,' 'needs for improvement of the course and the long-term care insurance.' In conclusion, some recommendations are suggested.
Purpose: Smart Safety Living Lab is a Living Lab facility, constructed and operated by KITECH in Korea, to support the user experience(UX) evaluation, planning and certification of smart safety products and services. The purpose of this study is to develop a UX evaluation methodology that accommodates the characteristics of the Living Lab and smart safety products and services for a systematic and efficient UX evaluation in the Smart Safety Living Lab. Methods: A generic model of UX evaluation was first derived based on a review of related literature. Then, the generic model is revised to accommodate the characteristics of the Smart Safety Living Lab and smart safety products and services, resulting in the UX Evaluation Methodology for Smart Safety Living Lab (SSLL-UXEM). Results: The developed SSLL-UXEM consists of a structured process for UX evaluation, a guideline for conducting each step of the process, and a set of forms for recording the major evaluation results in each step. Conclusion: SSLL-UXEM can help to enhance the efficiency of the UX evaluation process and the consistency of the UX evaluation results. SSLL-UXEM is also expected to serve as a basis for UX evaluation in various living lab environments in the future.

Additive manufacturing (AM, also known as 3D printing) technology is digitalized technology, making it easy to predict and manage quality and also, have design freedom ability. With these advantages, AM technology is applied to various industries. In particular, a method of manufacturing buildings and infrastructure with AM technology is being proposed to the construction industry. However, the application of AM technology is restricted due to problems such as insufficient history and quality of technology, lack of construction management methods, and certification of manufacturing products. Therefore, the manufacture of architectural products is implemented with indirect AM technology. In particular, it manufactures formwork using AM and injecting building materials to implement the architectural product. In this study, hybrid type material extrusion AM is used to manufacture large-sized formwork and implement building products. Moreover, we identify factors that can predict productivity and economic feasibility in the additive manufacturing process. As a result, design optimization results are proposed to reduce the production cost and time of architecture buildings.
Objectives: Although it is difficult to define the quality of stroke care, acute ischemic stroke (AIS) patients with moderate-to-severe neurological deficits may benefit from thrombectomy-capable hospitals (TCHs) that have a stroke unit, stroke specialists, and a substantial endovascular thrombectomy (EVT) case volume. Methods: From national audit data collected between 2013 and 2016, potential EVT candidates arriving within 24 hours with a baseline National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale score ≥6 were identified. Hospitals were classified as TCHs (≥15 EVT case/y, stroke unit, and stroke specialists), primary stroke hospitals (PSHs) without EVT (PSHs-without-EVT, 0 case/y), and PSHs-with-EVT. Thirty-day and 1-year case-fatality rates (CFRs) were analyzed using random intercept multilevel logistic regression. Results: Out of 35 004 AIS patients, 7954 (22.7%) EVT candidates were included in this study. The average 30-day CFR was 16.3% in PSHs-without-EVT, 14.8% in PSHs-with-EVT, and 11.0% in TCHs. The average 1-year CFR was 37.5% in PSHs-without-EVT, 31.3% in PSHs-with-EVT, and 26.2% in TCHs. In TCHs, a significant reduction was not found in the 30-day CFR (odds ratio [OR], 0.92; 95% confidence interval [CI], 0.76 to 1.12), but was found in the 1-year CFR (OR, 0.84; 95% CI, 0.73 to 0.96). Conclusions: The 1-year CFR was significantly reduced when EVT candidates were treated at TCHs. TCHs are not defined based solely on the number of EVTs, but also based on the presence of a stroke unit and stroke specialists. This supports the need for TCH certification in Korea and suggests that annual EVT case volume could be used to qualify TCHs.
Purpose: This study aimed to examine the impact of FSSC 22000 food safety management system characteristics on the business performance of food-related companies and to verify the mediating effect of organizational capabilities in the relationship between them. Methods: To achieve this, a survey was conducted among employees of food companies in Seoul and the metropolitan area that have implemented the FSSC 22000 food safety management system, and the following main results were derived. Results: First, the FSSC food safety management system factors, such as measurement/analysis and improve- ment, documentation, management responsibility, and service and product realization, were found to have a significant positive (+) impact on organizational capabilities. The relative impact was in the order of measurement/analysis and improvement, documentation, management responsibility, and service and product realization. Second, organizational capabilities were found to have a significant positive (+) impact on business performance. Third, the FSSC food safety management system factors, such as measurement/analysis and improvement, management responsibility, resource management, and documentation, were found to have a significant positive (+) impact on business performance. The relative impact was in the order of measure- ment/analysis and improvement, management responsibility, resource management, and documentation. Fourth, the factors of management responsibility, resource management, measurement/analysis and improvement, and documentation, excluding resource management factors, were found to have a positive impact on business performance through the mediation of organizational capabilities. Conclusion: The results of this study may provide important implications for the implementation and efficient operation and management of the FSSC 22000 food safety management system in enhancing the business performance of food-related companies.

Tasmania with its clean air, isolated from mainland Australia, has been producing high-quality agricultural products and has been continually developing organic farming since 1946 when the Living Soil Association of Tasmania(LSAT) was established. The organic farming movement in Tasmania has been actively advocated through three steps: the philosophical embryonic period, the movement diffusion period and the industrialised development period. The campaigns for informing about the connection between healthy soil and life unfolded during the embryonic period. This was followed by the birth of publicity of organic farming and the certification system through the dissemination of organic farming techniques and various events related to agriculture in the diffusion period when the Organic Gardening and Farming Society(OGFS) was established in 1972. In the industrialised development period, The Organic Coalition of Tasmania (OCT) which is representative of Tasmania was organised in 2000 and has been leading the organic farming industry. The organic farming movement in Tasmania not only limits the use of artificial agricultural chemical but pursues the quality of food, environment, the health of life including all animals and plants, the issue of development in rural society, social justice, and equity in understanding. It is far more holistic in its philosophy. The output of organic food accounts for 1 % of the total amount of agricultural production and 150 certified organic farms have managed with 5,000ha of land in 2010. The supply channels for organic foods vary from farmer's market, specialty stores, supermarket chains, local store to the cooperative community. Also the consumers' behaviour for organic foods has been establishing as an alternative life style. The education of the value and role of organic farming on the environment should be enlarged for the consumption of the organic food. In addition, organising for small farmers who act individually and the link with differentiated local food have still remained issues.

Sharing and reusing data has become essential. Data repositories are a key tool for sharing and reusing this data. The purpose of this study is to propose the service of EcoBank, which is being built and operated by the National Institute of Ecology. To achieve the research purpose, 10 out of 123 foreign data repositories in the field of ecology registered on re3data.org were selected, investigated, and analyzed. As a result of the analysis, three services were derived in common. The three services consist of first, research data policy, second, research data quality review, and research data management training and workshops. Here, in order to share EcoBank's global data, it is necessary to register with a data repository registry such as re3data.org, and it is proposed that certification be promoted to ensure the reliability and quality of the repository.
According to the World Health Organization, for medical schools to fulfill their obligation of social accountability, it is necessary for medical education, research, and service areas to ref lect the healthcare system's relevance, quality, cost-effectiveness, and equity. This study utilized Boelen and Heck's (1995) social accountability grid model to analyze the degree to which the Accreditation Standards of Korean Institute of Medical Education and Evaluation 2019 (ASK2019) standards apply the World Federation for Medical Education's (WFME) standards. The social accountability characteristics of the former were compared to those of the WFME, the Liaison Committee on Medical Education, and the Australian Medical Council. Experts with experience and certification in medical education and evaluation classified the ASK2019 standards according to the grid model, evaluated social accountability perspectives, and categorized them according to the process, content, and outcome. Of the 92 standards, 61 (66.30%) were selected as social accountability standards; these encompassed all areas. There was a particular focus on outcome-related areas, such as "mission and outcomes," "student assessment," "educational evaluation," and "continuous improvement." Education and quality were the most common (33, 54.11%), followed by 18 standards related to education and relevance. However, the standards on cost effectiveness and equity corresponding to education, research, and service were significantly insufficient. As a result of classification using a logic model, many criteria were incorporated into the process, producing results similar to those of international accreditation institutions. Therefore, to fulfill medical schools' social accountability, it is necessary to develop cost effectiveness and equity standards with reference to grid models and expand them beyond education to include research and service areas. Developing content and outcome standards is also required.
Purpose: Smart farming is related to the low carbon certification system as it provides many opportunities to cultivate and manage crops in an eco-friendly, thereby reducing carbon footprint. However, there is a significant lack of consumer perception research on low carbon labels for smart farms vegetables. Therefore, this study aims to investigate consumer perceptions of smart farm vegetable and low carbon labels. Methods: This study manipulated cultivation type(general vs. smart farm) and low carbon labels (yes vs. no) as experimental stimuli. Measurement questions and the research model were validated through confirmatory factor analysis and reliability analysis. Hypotheses testing were conducted using SPSS 29.0, AMOS 28.0. Results: The results of the study showed no significant difference in consumers perceived naturalness based on cultivation types, and there was also no moderating effect of the low carbon label. There was no difference between environmental benefits and health benefits according to the cultivation type. Perceived naturalness had a significant effect on both environmental and health benefits, and environmental benefits showed a higher impact relationship. These benefits positively affected attitudes and willingness to pay a premium, Environmental benefits had a higher impact on attitudes, while health benefits had a higher impact on willingness to pay a premium. Lastly, attitudes were found to have a significant impact on the willingness to pay a premium. Conclusion: This study is valuable in that it investigated consumer perceptions of smart farms and low carbon labels that have not been previously studied. It compares the environmental and health benefits, confirming their influence on attitudes and willingness to pay a premium. The results suggest a potential expansion in academic research on smart farming and low carbon labels, offering practical insights for marketing strategies and policies for relevant companies.
