항공서비스 품질의 경쟁력 (The Competitiveness of Quality in the Air Service)

  • This study aims to deveop a methodology for measuring the level of service quality in the air transportation. To measure the level of service quality, the approach taken here deals with not only the facility factors but also qualitative factors such as comfort and convenience as the influencing elements for service quality. The contents of this study can be summarized as follows: (1) For the systematic developement and management of air service, service factors of the air transportation are classified by AHP(analytic hierarchy process). (2) In computing the weight of service factors, a pairwise comparison method in AHP is used. (3) This study will suggest a method of measuring the competitive level of air service, and a result of an empirical study appling the method developed.

공항지상업무시스템에 대한 서비스 수준의 평가 (Service Level Evaluation for the Airport Landside System)

  • The new concept of level of service for the airport system indicates that there must be strong stimulation to proceed with the current stereotyped service standards which are being criticised due to their being based on, either physical capacity/volume or temporal/spatial standards that directly incorporates the perception of passengers. Quantitative factors have been dealt with the main service measurements when evaluating level of service. However, the passenger's perception for the provision service at the airport system is definitely important consideration to assess level of service. To enhance the reliability of service level evaluation from the passenger's point of view, this study has adopted three main evaluation factors ; temporal/spatial factors as quantitative measurements and comfort and reasonable service factors as qualitative measurements. The multi-decision model was constructed using Fuzzy Set Theory and applied to a case study at Seoul Kimpo International Airport. Results are presented in terms of passenger satisfaction with a variety of different values.

가치구조화기법에 의한 매립지 유해성 등급화 (Assessment of Landfill Hazard Using the Value-Structured Approach)

  • LHR(Landfill Site Hazard Ranking Model) was developed for ranking the relative hazard of landfill sites by using the method of value-structured approach. LHR consists of combining a multiattribute decision-making method with a Qualitative risk assessment approach. A pairwise com parisian method was applied to determine weights of landfill site factors related. To determine the hazard of landfill site, hydrogeological factors, waste characteristics factors and receptors factors were evaluated by LHR. LHR can help decision-makers prioritization of remediation of landfill sites through the relatively convenient and concise evaluation method of landfill site features related. LHR focuses mainly on pathways of groundwater and surfacewater for evaluating landfill hazard to receptors including humans. To validiate the applicability of LHR, Nanjido Landfill site, Metropolitan Landfill site, and Hwasung Landfill site were evaluated.

  • This study sought to investigate the aspects and other factors at work in rough and tumble play by children, through a qualitative research approach. The participants consisted of 25 5-year-old children and their teachers at A kindergarten, located in Seoul. The results of the research are as follow:(1) there are various aspects in the initiation of, development of, as well as the way children's rough and tumble play ends. (2) The factors that trigger children's rough and tumble play include : limitation and creation of toys, teacher absence, particular times throughout the day, gender awareness, peer relationships, the reactions of teachers, and social and cultural factors at work in class.

소셜네트워크서비스(SNS) 만족에 미치는 서비스 품질요인에 관한 연구 (A Study on Factors Affecting Social Network Service e-Service Quality)

  • 본 연구는 소셜네트워크서비스(SNS) 의 만족에 어떠한 서비스 품질 요인이 영향을 주는지에 대해서 연구하였다. 웹 2.0의 확대로 커뮤니티에 대한 고객 수요가 확대되면서 나타난 개념인 SNS(Social Network Service) 시장이 급성장 하였다. 이에 대한 서비스 품절 요인을 측정하기 위하여 SNS 사용자를 대상으로 설문 연구를 진행하였다 연구결과 접속성, 충족성, 사용 용이성, 유희성 및 안정성 등 5개 요인 중 충족성, 사용 용이성 및 유희성은 서비스 만족에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났지만 접속성과 안정성을 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다.

  • The Purpose of this paper is to describe and demonstrate a quantitative procedure for evaluating alternative material handling systems that are being considered for possible purchase. The procedure considers both quantitative factors(i.e. costs) and qualitative factors(i.e. equipment productivity) that should be considered in the evaluation process. Since these factors are not always quantifiable it is necessary that the procedure be able to quantify all factors in commensurable units. This is accomplished via a modification of the Brown and Gibson model for facility site location and selection. The model was demonstrated via a case example that encompassed the derivation of performance measures for three material handling systems.

성인초기 한국인의 바쁨과 주관적인 삶의 속도에 대한 질적 연구 (A Qualitative Study on the Busyness and Subjective Pace of Life among Koreans in Early Adulthood)

  • 본 연구는 한국사회에서 큰 사회적 압력으로 작용하고 있는 바쁨에 대해 사람들이 어떻게 인식하고 경험하고 있는지와 바쁨과 느림의 삶의 속도를 추동하는 사회 심리적 동기들을 살펴보았다. 나아가 바쁨과 느림의 개인의 삶의 속도에 따른 현실에서의 적응요소에 대해 심층적으로 탐구하였다. 본 연구의 분석은 20·30대 미혼남녀 21명의 심층면접 자료를 이용한 현상학적 연구 방법으로 이루어졌다. 그 결과 바쁨에 대한 인식 및 경험들은 긍정적인 부분과 부정적인 부분이 공존하고 있으며 바쁨과 느림의 삶의 속도에 영향을 미치는 사회 심리적 동기의 구성 요소들은 '(바쁨/쉼)의 긍정적 가치 내면화', '(미래/현재) 중심적', '바쁨의 일상화/선택과 집중', '성격특성'이 도출되었다. 또한 바쁘게 사는 사람과 느리게 사는 사람들의 공통적인 현실 적응요소는 '자기 선택적', '성공적인 시간관리', '심리적 건강 유지'가 차별적 요소는 '성취감'과 '자기특성 이해 및 수용'이 도출되었다. 이러한 결과들을 토대로 한국사회에서 바쁨에 부여된 가치와 의미를 사회심리학적 관점에서 논의하였으며 삶의 속도와 관련된 기존 연구 및 논의들에 새로운 관점을 제시해 주었다. 또한 여러 팔로업(follow up) 가능한 연구들을 제안하였다.

반전학습(flipped learning)을 적용한 수학 수업에서 학생들의 참여 요인 탐색 (Analyzing students' engagement factors in flipped mathematics class)

  • The abilities for 21st learners have recently changed and learners' engagement is emphasized. In flipped classroom, students learn the prerequisite concepts of the lecture online in advance and perform various types of activities based on interaction and engagement. As students in flipped classroom construct knowledge actively, students' engagement is very important. Therefore, I conducted a research of flipped mathematics class to help teachers to better understand students' engagement in flipped mathematics class. The flipped mathematics class was conducted for about 3 weeks with 29 middle school students and one teacher. Video and audio recordings, completed student worksheets and interview data were collected and analyzed using the qualitative method. The results of this study showed that students' engagement is influenced by diverse factors. Engagement factors were categorized by teacher factors, community factors, material factors, tasks and strategy factors, classroom culture factors. Each factor facilitates or suppresses behavioral, emotional, cognitive, agentic engagements, and sometimes several factors are related. The results of this study increase understanding of engagement through the example of a case study on flipped mathematics class.

Identifying Learner Behaviors, Conflicting and Facilitating Factors in an Online Learning Community

  • The purpose of this study is to identify patterns of learner behaviors, conflicting and facilitating factors during collaborative work in an online learning community(OLC). This study further seeks to investigate the difference of learner behaviors between high- and low-performing groups, and conflicting and facilitating factors. The online postings from four groups(19 students) in the spring semester(study 1) and six groups(24 students) in the fall semester(study 2) were analyzed. A coding scheme was generated based on constant comparison using the qualitative data analysis tool, NVivo. The analysis identified 7 categories of learner behaviors in both studies. Among the seven categories, information seeking and co-construction were most frequently observed in both studies. One evident difference between the high- and low-performing groups was that the high-performing groups revealed more incidents of learner behaviors in both studies. In addition, six categories of conflicting factors and five categories of facilitating factors were emerged in both studies. The inefficiency of work category was one of the most frequently observed categories in both studies. Interestingly, the high-performing groups showed more incidents of conflicting factors than the low-performing groups. This study revealed two different types of conflicting factors and there is a need for different moderating strategies depending on its type. Based on the results of the study, effective design strategies for an OLC to facilitate active learning were suggested.

국내 의류봉제 산업의 글로벌소싱 의향 고려요인 연구: 여성니트복종(women's knit wear) 생산을 중심으로 (An Exploratory Study of the Determinants of Global Sourcing Intention in Korean Clothing Sewing Industry: Focusing on Women's Knit Wear Production)

  • Purpose - This study seeks to investigate the determinants of global sourcing intention in clothing sewing industry, in particular with its focus on women's knit wear production. Design/methodology/approach - This study collected a unique set of qualitative data through 31 in-depth interviews with fashion brands, promotion agencies, and sewing factories between July 2023 and October 2023. In addition, it analyzed the dataset using the MAXQDA to complement the research findings. Findings - We have two findings. First, the interviewees commonly mentioned the following factors as reasons for considering global sourcing: the human factors(aging of skilled technicians and labor shortages), the financial factors(gap in production unit prices at home and abroad), the relational factors(lack of novelty), and the physical factors(loss of production infrastructure and network), while the human factors(skilled workforce), the production factors(delivery date and product quality), and the relational factors(timely communication and mutual trust) as reasons for continuing domestic sourcing. Additional code analysis of interview also supports this finding. On the other hand, there was also a subtle difference between buyers(brands) and suppliers(promotion agencies and processing plants), and buyers consider the exact delivery date critical so that they could see trend-sensitive women's knit wear on time, and suppliers took production costs, labor costs, and labor shortages, which are financial factors, more seriously. Research implications or Originality - This study provides a richer and more balanced view of existing literature, which has generally tended to introduce global sourcing across the clothing industry despite the existence of various diversity within the industry. In addition, through qualitative research, we introduce that the sewing industry is carried out according to complex factors, and by revealing and categorizing the determinants of global sourcing, we supplement the existing research on the clothing sewing industry centered on survey. On a practical note, this study introduces that there is a difference in view of domestic sourcing and global sourcing between buyers(brands) and suppliers(promotion agencies and sewing factories), suggesting practical implications for revitalizing networks and deriving win-win cooperation network models among members in the future.
