Recently, Information and Communication Technology and SMART Phone Technology have been rapidly developed. According to the increase of data use, the era of big data has come. With the approach of non-contact society, QR Codes are becoming inseparable in our lives. In this paper, we are trying to figure out the implications of QR Code research based on Big Data in Korea. The purpose of this study is to first examine the previous studies on "QR Code" and conduct an analysis on keywords by field using Big Data. Second, for data visualization WordCloud analysis and network analysis are performed on "QR Code" frequent keyword. Third, we would like to present the research direction to future researchers regarding "QR Code". In the results, First of all, research trends showed that research is on the rise and that various fields are being utilized. Second, the results of the analysis of frequent keyword resulted in similar results overall, with some differences depending on the field and year. Third, we found that the visualization results according to the frequent keyword were also analyzed in the same way as the frequent keyword analysis results. The practical implications of the theoretical findings are as follows. First, 'QR Code' needs to be studied as a means of information delivery, not as a technical aspect. Second, it can be seen that "QR Code" is developing reflecting social trends or issues. With both theoretical and practical implications, we are trying to provide the strategic ways of QR-code in future.

QR codes as public patent are widely used to acquire the information in various fields. However, it faces security problem when delivering the privacy message by QR code. To overcome this weakness, we propose a secret hiding scheme by improving exploiting modification direction to protect the private message in QR code. The secret messages will be converted into octal digit stream and concealed to the cover QR code by overwriting the cover QR code public message bits. And the private messages can be faithfully decoded using the extraction function. In our secret hiding scheme, the QR code public message still can be fully decoded publicly from the marked QR codes via any standard QR Code reader, which helps to reduce attackers' curiosity. Experiments show that the proposed scheme is feasible, with high secret payload, high security protection level, and resistant to common image post-processing attacks.
This paper is a study on a transport robot capable of autonomously driving to a destination using a QR code in an indoor environment. The transport robot was designed and manufactured by attaching a lidar sensor so that the robot can maintain a certain distance during movement by detecting the distance between the camera for recognizing the QR code and the left and right walls. For the location information of the delivery robot, the QR code image was enlarged with Lanczos resampling interpolation, then binarized with Otsu Algorithm, and detection and analysis were performed using the Zbar library. The QR code recognition experiment was performed while changing the size of the QR code and the traveling speed of the transport robot while the camera position of the transport robot and the height of the QR code were fixed at 192cm. When the QR code size was 9cm × 9cm The recognition rate was 99.7% and almost 100% when the traveling speed of the transport robot was less than about 0.5m/s. Based on the QR code recognition rate, an experiment was conducted on the case where the destination is only going straight and the destination is going straight and turning in the absence of obstacles for autonomous driving to the destination. When the destination was only going straight, it was possible to reach the destination quickly because there was little need for position correction. However, when the destination included a turn, the time to arrive at the destination was relatively delayed due to the need for position correction. As a result of the experiment, it was found that the delivery robot arrived at the destination relatively accurately, although a slight positional error occurred while driving, and the applicability of the QR code-based destination self-driving delivery robot was confirmed.

QR code (abbreviated from Quick Response Code) is code system that is strong in against to apply image processing techniques (skew, warp, blur, and rotate) as QR codes can store several hundred times the amount of information carried by ordinary bar codes. For this reason, QR code is used in various fields, e.g., air ticket (boarding control system), food(vegetables, meat etc.) tracking system, contact lenses management, prescription management, patient wrist band (patient management) etc. In this paper, we proposed reversible data hiding for binary images. A reversible data hiding algorithm, which can recover the original image without any distortion from the marked (stego) image after the hidden data have been extracted, because it is possible to use various kinds of purposes. QR code can be used to generate by anyone so it can be easily used for crime. In order to prevent crimes related QR code, reversible data hiding can confirm if QR code is counterfeit or not as including authentication information. In this paper, we proved proposed method as experiments.
2-dimensional barcode, QR code has been used for containing various information such as image, video, map, and business cards. Currently, a smartphone is used as a QR code scanner, displaying the code and converting it to a standard URL for a website. However, QR codes are not very common in encrypted application and so have a few applications. This paper proposes a new color-code, which integrates the conventional QR code and color design, and can be effectively used in some product certification system. The proposed method exploits the fact that genuine code is produced by CMYK color model, but the counterfeit is captured by RGB color model and during this process, color information of the code is changed. This paper introduces the color matrix model to measure the distortion between genuine code and counterfeit code. By investigating the statistical characteristics of color matrix, an effective detection of print image forgeries are designed. Various experiments with color codes show that the proposed system can be effectively used in product certification systems.

Digital Image Correlation technique (DIC) is a non-contact optical method for rapid structural health monitoring of critical infrastructure. An innovative approach to DIC is presented using QR (Quick Response) code based random speckle pattern. Reinforced Cement Concrete (RCC) beams of size $1800mm{\times}150mm{\times}200mm$ are tested in flexure. DIC is used to extract Moment (M) - Curvature (${\kappa}$) relationships using random speckle patterns and QR code based random speckle patterns. The QR code based random speckle pattern is evaluated for 2D DIC measurements and the QR code speckle pattern performs satisfactorily in comparison with random speckle pattern when considered in the context of serving a dual purpose. Characteristics of QR code based random speckle pattern are quantified and its applicability to DIC is explored. The ultimate moment-curvature values computed from the QR code based random speckled pattern are found to be in good agreement with conventional measurements. QR code encrypts the structural information which enables integration with building information modelling (BIM).

The purpose of the study is to examine the current study trend of 'QR code' and suggest a direction for the future study of big data analysis: (1) Background: study trend of 'QR code' and analysis of the text by subject field and year; (2) Methodology: data scraping and collection, EXCEL summary, and preprocess and big data analysis by R x 64 4.0.2 program package; (3) the findings: first, the trend showed a continuous increase in 'QR code' studies in general and the findings were applied in various fields. Second, the analysis of frequent keywords showed somewhat different results by subject field and year, but the overall results were similar. Third, the visualization of the frequent keywords also showed similar results as that of frequent keyword analysis; and (4) the conclusions: in general, 'QR code' studies are used in various fields, and the trend is likely to increase in the future as well. And the findings of this study are a reflection that 'QR code' is an aspect of our social and cultural phenomena, so that it is necessary to think that 'QR code' is a tool and an application of information. An expansion of the scope of the analysis is expected to show us more meaningful indications on 'QR code' study trends and development potential.

The quick-response (QR) code is a two-dimensional barcode which is widely being used. Due to several interesting features such as small code size, high error correction capabilities, easy code generation and reading process, the QR codes are used in many applications. Nowadays, a printed color QR code for offline applications is being studied to improve the information storage capacity. By multiplexing color information into the conventional black-white QR code, the storage capacity is increased, however, it is hard to extract the embedded information due to the color crosstalk and geometrical distortion. In this paper, to overcome these problems, a new type of QR code is designed based on the CMYK color model and the local spatial searching as well as the global spatial matching is introduced in the reading process. These results in the recognition rate increase. Through practical experiments, it is shown that the proposed algorithm can perform the bit recognition rate improvement of about 3% to 5%.
The purpose of this paper is to present a smart QR code recording system and a method of nonstorage data delivery that transforms the original data into a form of URL information by encrypting it and encoding the URL information into a QR code so that the QR code can be written and decrypted in a medium without storing the original data. The method of the study was presented by the prior art study and the literature research. Analysis results show that the system is built on the online administration server. The data input signal matching secret code is stored in DB, the QR code generation command converts input data from the password DB to the password information combined into the subordinate locator of the admin server's domain name, URL code. Therefore, the smart QR method of data management (recording and providing) indicates that there are no limitations in the ease and space of use or obstacles to capacity use.

Recently, the expansion of smart phones, wi-fi. and unlimited service changed our life style from personal computer based to mobile device based. With this trend, a lot of companies and government facilities use QR code as an advertising material, and now the QR code is very popular service in our ordinary life. In the meantime, libraries in abroad and university libraries started using QR code in library service about 2 or 3 years ago, and domestic libraries started using it in service due to the increase of establishment of mobile Library websites. In this research, starting with looking into the literature, I analyzed the examples of the use of QR code in libraries. On the base of it, I drew a QR code library service model, and what needs to be considered for the use of it.
