  • This paper presents an integrated variable amplitude high voltage pulse generation circuit with low power and small size for driving industrial piezoelectric printer heads. To solve the problems of large size and power overhead of conventional pulse generators that usually assembled with multiple high-cost discrete ICs on a PCB board, we have designed a new integrated circuit (IC) chip. Since all the functions are integrated on to a single-chip it can achieve low cost and control the high-voltage output pulse with variable amplitudes as well. It can also digitally control the rising and falling times of an output high voltage pulse by using programmable RC time control of the output buffer. The proposed circuit has been designed and simulatedd in a 180[nm] Bipolar-CMOS-DMOS (BCD) technology using HSPICE and Cadence Virtuoso Tools. The proposed single-chip pulse generation circuit is suitable for use in industrial printer heads requiring a variable high voltage driving capability.

  • Molten zone shape of pulse laser welding is affected by welding conditions such as beam power, beam speed, irradiation time, pulse frequency, etc. and is divided into conduction type and keyhole type. It is necessary to design heat source model for irradiation of laser beam in the pulse laser welding. Shape variables and the maximum energy density value of the heat source model are different depending on the molten zone shape. In this paper, pulse laser welding simulation for joining of cylindrical part and circular cover was carried out. The heat source model for pulse laser beam with circular path was applied to the heat input boundary condition, radiative and conductive heat transfer were considered for the thermal boundary condition. For each phase, thermal and mechanical properties according to temperature were also applied to analysis. Analytical results were in good agreement with the molten zone size of specimen under the same welding conditions. So, the reliability of the welding simulation was verified. Finally, the improvements for reducing residual deformation after cover welding could be reviewed analytically.

  • For pulse trigger way and the energy injection rate according to PET ($Pause^{10-90}$ $Energy^{20-40}$ $Trigger^{1-7}$) function, indeed, human body condition, period of dormancy in this research about this back correctly adjustment possible and designed harmless micro carrying along style hair exclusion so that can design and manufacture and run special quality examination and Xenon flash lamp to crawl in human body. Because creating individual's skin model to do stable treatment by light transmission way by skin impedance and measure, must embody treatment special quality of most suitable that draw skin color, energy, wave length, approximately, transmission time, pulse delay etc. and want. Specially, saved standard of war treatment pulse modeling by skin impedance, and manufacture pulse modeling system of most suitable by skin subordinate, and embody suitable treatment pulse. Specially, embody as could do root of a hair exclusion being emitted in pulse form using multi wave length of 560nm, 590nm, 640nm, 755nm and embodied clinical data. If become research repletion furthermore little more, is seen that can approximate in commercialization.

  • There are range and azimuth direction resolution of synthetic aperture radar on the aircraft or satellite. Wide bandwidth chirp pulse generation technology is prerequisite for SAR image with fine resolution. There are two kinds of digital chirp pulse generation technology as arbitrary waveform generator(AWG) and direct digital synthesizer(DDS). In this paper, we design and implement a digital chirp pulse generator to generate 300MHz wide bandwidth linear FM chirp pulse for the fine resolution image with direct digital synthesizer. Implemented chirp pulse generator can be useful for the SAR sensors to make 50cm range resolution image.

  • This paper presents a buck-boost converter-based bipolar pulse generator, which is able to generate bipolar exponential pulses across a resistive load. The concept of the proposed approach depends on operating the involved buck-boost converters in discontinuous current conduction mode with high-voltage gain and enhanced efficiency. A full design of the pulse generator and its passive components is presented to ensure generating the pulses with the desired specifications (rise time, pulse width, and pulse magnitude) for a given load resistance and input dc voltage. In case of moderate pulsed output voltages (i.e. few of kV), one module of the presented bipolar generator can be employed. While in case of high-voltage pulsed output, multi-module version can be employed, where each module is fed from an isolated dc source and their outputs are connected in series. Simulation models for the proposed approach are built to elucidate their performance in case of one-module as well as multi-module based generator. Finally, a scaled-down prototype for one-module of buck-boost converter-based bipolar pulse generator is implemented to validate the proposed concept.

  • The dual pulse rocket motor is a pressure vessel containing two pulse grains separated by a pulse separation device such as a fragile bulkhead. One of the important things in this systems is case insulation design using the excellent materials in the 1st stage pulse motor. We investigated manufacturing process of fabric/EPDM chamber insulations in order to protect the 1st stage pulse motor case with high intensity gas flow. Simulation motor connected with extension tube having FRP disc was designed to study ablation characteristics of insulation.

  • A multi pulse rocket motor(MPRM) has several advantages compared to the single one. The range and the terminal velocity of the guided missile can be remarkably increased by the application of the pulse separation device(PSD) to the solid rocket motor which resulted in appropriate thrust distribution. In this study, the full scale heavy type dual pulse rocket motor with the bulkhead type PSD was designed, manufactured, and fire-tested. The bursting time and pressure of PSD were analyzed by the pressure, thrust and vibration results of static fire tests. As a result, the design requirement was verified that bursting pressure is lower than 30% of 2nd pulse operating pressure.

  • In this paper, finite element modeling of the laser ultrasonics (LU) process in ablation regime is of interest. The momentum resulting from the removal of material from the specimen surface by the laser beam radiation in ablation regime is modeled as a pressure pulse. To model this pressure pulse, two equations are required: one for the spatial distribution and one for the temporal distribution of the pulse. Previous researchers have proposed various equations for the spatial and temporal distributions of the pressure pulse in different laser applications. All available equations are examined and the best combination of the temporal and spatial distributions of the pressure pulse that provides the most accurate results is identified. This combination of temporal and spatial distributions has never been used for modeling laser ultrasonics before. Then by using this new model, the effects of variations in pulse duration and laser spot radius on the shape, amplitude, and frequency spectrum of ultrasonic waves are studied. Furthermore, the LU in thermoelastic regime is simulated by this model and compared with LU in ablation regime. The interaction of ultrasonic waves with a defect is also investigated in the LU process in ablation regime. Good agreement of the results obtained from the new finite element model and available experimental data confirms the accuracy of the proposed model.

  • The propagation properties of square and Gaussian pulse signals on the microstrip line are investigated by using proper conventional models to meet the frequency range of a pulse, accuracy, and geometrical requirements of the microstrip line. Numerical integration technique which has its accuracy and is easily simulated, is used to obtain the time domain response of pulse signals. The dispersion of pulse signals is analyzed regarding to the relative permittivity $\varepsilon_r$, substrate height h, strip width w of the microstrip line and pulse width $\tau$ of signal pulse. The simulation results show that small relative permittivity and small rationale of w/h are advantageous for the dispersion of the pulse signals, and that pulse signals with small bandwidth cause smaller dispersion. The results of this paper are compatible to the trade-off determination of relative permittivity, substrate height, strip width and pulse width of signal pulse when a design of MIC and MMIC is necessary.
