The purpose of this study is to provide basic data for the production of jackets with high fit by comparing and analyzing the adhesive and non-adhesive production methods of men's jackets. An analysis of the manufacturing method showcased differences between the adhesive and non-adhesive manufacturing methods in the cutting and wick attachment method, the shape and attachment method of the chest reinforcing wick, the sleeve attachment method, and the shoulder pad and sleeve reinforcing cloth attachment method. In evaluating the outfit, the overall fit of the shoulder, the fit of the chest, and the fit of the armpit were found to be high in the non-adhesive production method. In evaluating appearance evaluation, the front shoulder, chest, and sleeve overall appearance showed a high non-adhesive production method. Therefore, in order to increase the wearability of the shoulder pad and the the attachment method of the upper sleeve reinforcing cloth, the non-adhesive production method should be used, and in order to increase the overall wearability and armpit wear of the chest, the difference in the attachment method, and the reinforcement method of the armhole should be used. In addition, to increase the appearance of the jacket, non-adhesive production methods such as differences in wick attachment methods, shoulder pads, sleeve reinforcing cloth, and sleeve attachment methods should be used.
Learning rate is generally applied to estimate an appropriate production labor cost. Learning effect is obtained from repetitive work during the production period under 3 assumptions ; homogeneous production, same producer, quantity measure in continuous unit. However, production breaks occur frequently in Korean defense industry environment because of budget constraint and annual requirements. In this case previous learning effect can not be applied due to learning loss. This paper proposed the application of learning rate when a production break occurs in Korea defense industry. To obtain a learning loss, we surveyed various learning loss factors for different production breaks(6, 12, 18 months) from 4 defense industry companies. Then, we estimate the first unit labor hours in re-production phase after production break using Anderlohr method and Retrograde method with the result of the survey. This work is the first attempt to show a method which defines and evaluates the learning loss factors in Korean defense industry environment.
Amounts of heat production determined by two indirect calorimetric methods, i.e., respiration-calorimetric method and body balance method were compared. In this report the apparatus, its operation and computation procedures for Haldane respiration-calorimetry modified by Han as well as procedures for body balance method are described. It was found that the heat production measured by two methods are similar.
To ensure that the production system of a factory is efficient, the factory layout design should consider the location and material flow plans of facilities, workshops, and storage areas. Highly productive factories need to have an optimized layout planning process, and a customized design methodology of the production system is a necessity for feasible layout planning. This paper presents a method for designing a layout module's size and shape and provides a heuristic location-allocation algorithm for the modules. The method is implemented and validated using a rich internet application-based platform. The layout design method is based on the leisure ship production process; this method can be used for designing the layout of a new factory or remodeling an existing factory and its production system. In contrast to existing layout methods, the inputs required for the proposed method, such as target products, production processes, and human-resource plans, are simple. This layout design method provides a useful solution for the initial stage of factory design.
In this paper, we propose a practical method for setting up a daily production plan which can operate semiconductor fabrication factories more stably and linearly by determining work in process (WIP) targets and movement targets. We first adjust cycle times of the operations to satisfy the monthly production plan. Second, work in process (WIP) targets are determined to control the production progress of operations: earliness and tardiness. Third, movement targets are determined to reduce cumulated differences between WIP targets and actual WIPs. Finally, the determined movement targets are modified through a simulation model which considers capacities of the equipments and allocations of the WIPs in the fab. The proposed daily production planning method can be easily adapted to the memory semiconductor fabs because the method is very simple and has straightforward logics. Although the proposed method is simple and straightforward, the power of the method is very strong. Results from the shop floor in past few periods showed that the proposed methodology gives a good performance with respect to the productivity, workload balance, and machine utilization. We can expect that the proposed daily production planning method will be used as a useful tool for operating semiconductor fabrication factories more efficiently and effectively.
In this paper, an offshore process front end engineering design (FEED) method is systematically introduced and reviewed to enable efficient offshore oil and gas production plant engineering. An integrated process engineering environment is also presented for the topside systems of a liquefied natural gas floating production, storage, and offloading (LNG FPSO) unit, based on the concepts and procedures for the process FEED of general offshore production plants. Various activities of the general process FEED scheme are first summarized, and then the offshore process FEED method, which is applicable to all types of offshore oil and gas production plants, is presented. The integrated process engineering environment is presented according to the aforementioned FEED method. Finally, the offshore process FEED method is applied to the topside systems of an LNG FPSO in order to verify the validity and applicability of the FEED method.
There are several methods for the hydrogen production such as steam reforming of natural gas, photochemical method, biological method, electrolysis and thermochemical method, etc. Many researches have been widely performed for the hydrogen production method having low production cost and high efficiency. In this paper, the patents concerning the photochemical hydrogen production method were gathered and analyzed. The search range was limited in the open patents of USA(US), European Union(EP), Japan(JP), and Korea(KR) from 1996 to 2005. Patents were gathered by using key-words searching and filtered by filtering criteria. The patent application trend was analyzed by the years, countries, companies, and technologies.

We have developed an automated circuit defect repair method. We focused on the resist patterns on the circuit material layer of TFT substrates before the etching process. In this paper, we report on the repair method that utilizes the syringe system and the stability of the open defect repair process.
Fukusuke applied for beginning "Civil affairs reproduction procedure" on June 21, 2003. It′s bankrupt. After obtaining the data of "Commodity Attribute, Sales, Sates Cost, Stock, Ordinary Profit, And Special Loss" based on the financial statement at the time of the bankruptcy, the influence of the production method improves checking. They are compared with a similar apparel company. The production method is close with the distribution circumstances. As a result, it searches for the limit of "Mass-Sail system" in fiber & fashion product by "Make To Stock(MTS) Production Method".

In order to realize a stable rubbing process for the liquid crystal panel, the authors investigated the quantitative evaluation method of rubbing process uniformity. The proposed method focuses on the relationship between the image quality of the LCD panel for gray scale images and the rubbing uniformity. The proposed method indicates rubbing uniformity using quantitative parameters of spots and hairlines on the LCD panel.
