부유식 석유생산.저장.하역선박의 소음해석 (A Noise Prediction of Floating, Production, Storage and Offloading(FPSO))

  • Recently, the demand for the Floating, Production Storage, and Offloading facility(FPSO) which has some economic and technical advantages, has increased in offshore oil production areas. The basic characteristics of a 343,000 DWT class FPSO which is being built in Hyundai Heavy Industries and shall be installed in offshore Angola, is almost same as that of oil carriers. However, she do not have self-propulsion system, but has additional facilities for oil production and positioning system. Main noise source contributing to the cabin noise of the accommodation, are classified into the machine in the engine room and the deckhouse, HVAC system, and the topside equipments. In general, the noise regulation for the offshore structure is much severer than that of the common commercial ships and the maximum acceptable sound pressure level of cabins is specified in 45dB(A). This paper describes the procedure of noise analysis along with its results. Noise analysis has been carried out for the case of emergency diesel generator running condition and the case of normal production condition and the results has been compared with the measurement results of the first case. Based on the results, proper countermeasures to reduce excessive noise level has been applied considering the characteristics of sources and receiver spaces and can be satisfied the specifications at all spaces.

캐나다 앨버타주의 수소산업 현황 및 전망 (The Present Condition and Outlook of Hydrogen Industry in Alberta, Canada)

  • 한국의 수소경제 활성화 로드맵에 의하면 2040년 526만톤의 연간 수소공급이 필요하며 이 중 해외 생산부분이 50%를 담당해야 할 것으로 설정하였으나 부생, 추출, 수전해 방식의 수소공급이 원활하지 않을 경우 해외 생산 비중이 당초 계획보다 증가될 수 있다. 따라서 국외 생산분에 대해 다양한 공급원의 확보가 필수적이며, 본 기술보고에서는 주요 공급후보국인 캐나다의 수소생산/수송 정책, 현황, 향후 전망에 대해 살펴보고 가장 현실적인 수소공급 방법으로 여겨지는 블루수소 프로젝트의 사례를 소개하고자 한다.

  • For production of thermophilic and alkaline protease, Bacillus sp. strain AP-5 was isolated from a compost. The production of the protease was reached at maximum for 4 days at $55^{\circ}$ in standing culture. Chitin and Cellulose as carbon source, and Skim Milk as nitrogen source were favorable for the production of the enzyme. Optimal temperature and optimal pH of the enzyme was $55^{\circ}$ and 11, respectively. Metal ion didn't effect on the enzyme activity, the protease was very stable at heat treatment of 30 min at $55^{\circ}$.

새로이 분리된 Klebsiella pneumoniae 균주들의 글리세롤 기반 3-hydroxypropionic acid 및 1,3-propanediol 동시 생산성 평가 (Evaluation of Newly Isolated Klebsiella pneumoniae Strains for the Co-Production of 3-hydroxypropionic acid and 1,3-propanediol from Glycerol)

  • Co-production of 3-hydroxypropionic acid (3-HP) and 1,3-propanediol (1,3-PDO) was suggested as an innovative strategy to overcome several limitations occurring in the single production of 3-HP from glycerol. In this study, two new isolates of Klebsiella pneumoniae, which produce less lipopolysaccharide (LPS) thus considered less pathogenic than K. pneumoniae DSM 2026, were compared and evaluated for their potential for the co-production of 3-HP and 1,3-PDO. The newly isolated strains showed significantly faster sedimentation rate than DSM, which should be beneficial for downstream processing. Analysis of genome sequences of the isolates confirmed the presence of all genes necessary for glycerol assimilation, 1,3-PDO production and biosynthesis of coenzyme $B_{12}$. Co-production yield was highest under anaerobic condition while cell growth was highest under aerobic condition. Both strains showed similarly good performance for the co-production although J2B gave the slightly higher co-production yield of 0.80 mol/mol than GSC021 (0.75 mol/mol). The evaluation of the newly developed strains presented here should be useful in designing similar evaluation experiments for other microorganisms.

전남 장성지역 한국잔디 재배지 잡초발생 현황 (Occurrence of Weed Species on Turf Sod Production Areas in Jangsung-gun, Jeonnam Province)

  • 본 연구는 전라남도 장성지역의 한국잔디 재배지의 발생 잡초를 확인하기 위하여 2014년 9월(1차 조사)과 2016년 5월(2차 조사)에 전남 장성군 삼서면 일대에서 한국잔디 재배포장을 밭 토양과 논 토양으로 구분하여 발생잡초 분포조사를 수행하였다. 잡초분포 조사결과 밭 토양에서는 27과 66종(일년생 49종, 다년생 17종)으로 일년생잡초 74.2%, 다년생잡초 25.8%의 발생을 확인하였다. 과별로 보면 국화과(Compositae)가 19.7%로 가장 많이 발생하였고, 그 다음으로 벼과(Gramineae) 13.6%, 콩과(Leguminosae) 10.6% 순이었다. 논 토양에서는 22과 69종(일년생 53종, 다년생 16종)으로 일년생잡초 76.8%, 다년생잡초 23.2% 비율의 발생을 확인하였다. 과별로 보면 국화과(Compositae)가 18.8%로 가장 많이 발생하였고, 그 다음으로 벼과(Gramineae) 14.5%, 사초과(Cyperaceae) 7.2% 순이었다. 밭 토양의 1차 조사에서는 벼과의 바랭이(8.49), 2차 조사에서는 괭이밥과의 괭이밥(7.26)이 가장 우점하였고, 논 토양의 1차 조사에서 국화과의 개망초(9.52), 2차 조사에서는 닭의장풀과의 닭의장풀(5.08)과 벼과의 뚝새풀(5.08)이 가장 우점하는 잡초종으로 확인되었다. 잡초발생 현황을 조사시기와 토양조건을 구분하여 비교한 결과 논 잡초와 밭 잡초가 혼생하는 것으로 확인되었다. 조사시기 또는 토양조건에 상관없이 공통적으로 발생하는 초종의 비율이 49.2%로 비교적 높게 나타났다. 따라서 한국잔디 재배지에서 제초제를 이용한 효율적인 방제효과를 위해서는 재배토양에 상관없이 논 잡초와 밭 잡초를 모두 잘 방제할 수 있는 약제를 선택해야 할 것으로 판단되었다.

앵강만 정치망 어장의 멸치 어황변동 특성 (Characteristics of fishing condition variation of anchovy in the set net fishing ground of Anggang bay, korea)

  • In order to elucidate the mechanism of fishing condition variation of anchovy in the set net fisheries of Anggang Bay, the monthly catch of anchovy was analyzed and examined based on the data acquired from 2006 to 2010 in 13 different fishing grounds. Anchovy consistently appeared from April to December and reached the production of 840 to 1,424 t (average : 1,228 t), with a big annual variation. However, anchovy production in this area accounts for approximately 75% of the production by set net in Anggang Bay whereas it holds 6.8% of the nationwide production (=18,034 t) by set net. The school of anchovy starts to appear in April at the west mouth of the bay and move north-eastward. Afterward, having three of clockwise turns in the middle of the bay, they scatter to swim into the deep place of the bay and finally go out to turn back to their coming way. These behaviors of anchovy are likely related to thermal fronts as well as distributions of food. The production of anchovy (y, kg) relied greatly on frequencies of effective northeasterly ($x_1$) or northwesterly ($x_2$) wind (${\leq}$3.5m/s) which blow between April and June. Their relationships are as follows: $y=1086.27+21.499x_1-15.16x_2$ (r=0.901). Consequently, we concluded that the northeasterly wind, which appears in the breeding season of spring, played a role to retard the movement of anchovy school to the eastern sea, while the northwesterly wind inhibits the invasion of anchovy school into the bay.

The Simulation and Control of the Reactive Distillation Process for Dimethylcarbonate(DMC) Production

  • Reactive distillation (RD) is a combination process where both separation and reaction are considered simultaneously in a single vessel. This kind of combination to enhance the overall performance is not a new attempt in the chemical engineering areas. The recovery of ammonia in the classic Solvay process for soda ash of the 1860s may be cited as probably the first commercial application of RD. The RD system has been used for a long time as a useful process and recently the importance of the RD is enlarged more and more. In addition to that, the application fields of RD are diversely diverged. To make the most of the characteristic of RD system, we must decide the best operating condition under which the process shows the most effective productivity and should decide the best control algorithm which satisfies an optimal operating condition. Phosgene which is a highly reactive chemical is used for the production of isocyanates and polycarbonates. Because it has high reactivity and toxicity, its utilization is increasingly burdened by growing safety measures to be adopted during its production. Dimethyl Carbonate (DMC) was proposed as a substitute of phosgene because it is non-toxic and environmentally benign chemical. In this study, RD is used for DMC production process and the transesterification is performed inside of column to produce DMC. In transesterification, the methanol and ethylene carbonate (EC) are used as the reactants. This process use homogeneous catalyst and the azeotrope exists between the reactant and product. Owing to azeotrope, we should use two distillation columns. For this DMC production process, we can suggest two configurations. One is EC excess process and the other is methanol excess process. From the comparison of steady state simulation results where the Naphtali-Sandholm algorithm is used, it showed the better performance to use the methanol excess process configuration than EC excess process. Then, the dynamic simulation was performed to be based on the steady state simulation results and the optimal control system was designed. In addition to that, the optimal operating condition was suggested from previous results.

면역증강성 다당 생산을 위한 참당귀 세포배양의 최적조건 (Optimal Conditions for the Production of Immunostimulating Polysaccharides from the Suspension Culture of Angelica gigas Cells.)

  • 참당귀 세포(Angelica gigas H4)를 현탁배양하여 면역 증강성 다당을 생산하기 위한 최적배지 설계 및 생산조건 최적화 연구를 수행하였다. 우선 세포의 성장에 가장 좋은 배지로서 Schenk and Hildebrandt(SH) 배지를 선택하여 배양한 결과 $25^{\circ}C$, 암배양조건에서 각각 15.8g DCW/l와 0.85 g/l의 세포 및 다당을 얻을 수 있었다. 한편 다당 생산용 배지의 개발을 위하여 여러 가지 식물세포배양용 배지 중에서 다당 생산능이 가장 높은 배지로서 Gamborg B5 배지를 선정하였으며 B5 배지를 변형하여 면역증강성 다당생산을 위한 최적배지(PPM)를 개발하였다. 그리고 최적배지를 이용한 당귀 세포증식과 다당 생산을 위한 최적 pH는 6.0-6.5, 배양온도는 $20^{\circ}C$, 그리 고 광조건보다는 암조건이 좋은 것으로 밝혀졌다. 상기 최적조건에서의 최대 세포증식과 다당생산은 각각 14.8 g/l, 1.5 g/l 이었다.

성인여성(成人女性)의 연령별(年齡別) 파운데이션 착용실태 연구(着用失態 硏究) - 브래지어와 거들을 중심(中心)으로 - (A Study on the Actual Wearing Condition of Foundation Garment for Adult Women - Focusing on the Brassiere and Girdle -)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide for the basic data useful to the effective production and marketing of the foundation garment befitting adult women's shapes and preferences, and thereby, help them improve their apparel life. For this purpose, 563 Korean women aged between 20-59 were sampled to survey their recognition and actual wearing condition of foundation garments and positively identify the factors affecting the practices and thereupon, determine the correlations among them by age group. The raw data of this study is processed by SPSS Win(10.1) and analyzed by using frequency, percentage, $x^2$-test, ANOVA, Duncan-test. The most of adult women were aware of their foundation size and the absolute majority of them wore brassieres, while a half of them used the girdles. The adult women had 5.7 Brassieres and 2.2 Girdles. The use of the foundation depended much on user's age or seasons. They had begun to wear Brassieres at their age of 15 on an average and Girdle around their age of 19 depending their individual needs. It has been found through this study that adult women's is actual wearing condition of foundation garments differ by age group, which may well suggest that foundation production need to consideration this age-wise practices when setting up their foundation production and marketing strategies.

디지털 복제 시대의 지식, 미디어, 정보 - 지식의 기술.사회적 조건 변화를 중심으로 (Knowledge, Media and Information in the Age of Digital Reproduction)

  • 이 논문에서는 벤야민과 맥클루언의 복제와 전기라는 두 가지 개념을 토대로 하여 디지털 복제 시대 지식의 위상과 성격을 밝히고자 하였다. 복제와 전기는 디지털 시대 지식의 탈물질화를 해명하는 실마리이다. 탈물질화는 디지털 시대 지식의 기술적 조건으로서 그것이 갖는 현상 형태에 대한 이해의 실마리를 제공한다. 이 논문은 디지털 복제 시대의 변화된 기술적 사회적 조건이 무엇인지 분석하고, 그런 조건에서 지식이 어떤 모습을 갖게 되는가를 검토한다. 이를 위하여 기계 복제, 전자 복제, 디지털 복제의 차이점을 정보, 미디어, 지식의 상호관련 속에서 분석하였다. 이러한 연구의 의미는 디지털 복제 시대의 지식이 처한 기술적 사회적 조건을 밝힘으로써 향후 이에 대한 본격적인 논의의 출발점을 마련하는 데 있다.
