The purpose of this paper is to examine the moderate effects of self monitoring and the ways of thinking on the relationships and the moderate effects of brand credibility and brand attachment on the relationships between the negative information about a brand and the customer attitude holistic and analytic on the relationships between the negative information about a brand and customer attitude. To accomplish these purposes, this research divided negative information about a brand into corporate ability and corporate social responsibility. In addition, research also divided product type into functional product and symbolic product. participants are classified as having Low or High self monitoring. and the ways of thinking divided into holistic and analytic on the relationships between the negative information about a brand and customer attitude. The following are the summary of hypothesis test: (1)the consumers with low(high) level of self monitering are more likely to reveal high level of preference for negative information of corporate ability. (2)the consumers with analytic(holistic) ways of thinking are more likely to reveal high level of preference for negative information of corporate ability. (3)the consumers with low(high) level of self monitering are more likely to reveal high level of preference for functional product. (4)the consumers with analytic(holistic) ways of thinking aren't more likely to reveal high level of preference for functional(symbolic) product.
Purpose - Current research aimed at exploring the effect differences between the two types of processing product information such as the imagining and the considering on psychological product ownership which could influence the intent to purchase or use the product, and focused on identifying the interaction effects of activated memory information type and advertising information type on each of the information processing types. Research design, data, and methodology - This study divided the information processing types into imagining and considering, and the consumer's memories were divided into autobiographical or episodic and semantic memory. The advertising information was approached in each of event information being together with the product and product feature information. At empirical study, 2(two types of memory activation: episodic and semantic memory activation) ∗ 2(two types of advertising information: event-focused and product feature-focused advertising information) between-subjects design was used to make four types of questionnaire according to the type of experimental groups. Through the survey platform, 'questionnaire stars' of 'WeChat' in China, 219 questionnaire data were collected for empirical study. The structural equation model in AMOS 26 and Anova were used to verify hypotheses. Results - First, the ownership affected the usage intent positively. Second, the imagining did not affect the psychological ownership but did directly affect the usage intention, and the considering affected the ownership positively. Third, the episodic memory activation positively influenced the imagining and negatively affected the considering, whereas the semantic memory activation positively influenced the considering and negatively affected the imagining. Fourth, event-advertising information increased the effects of the activated episodic memory on the imagining, and feature-advertising information increased the effects of the activated semantic memory on the considering. Conclusions - marketers should develop and advertise their product-related event message to trigger the imaging that directly increase the intent to purchase or use their product, when consumers are under the activation of their episodic memory. And marketers should advertise their product feature-related message to trigger the considering that could induce consumers' ownership for their product to increase the intent to purchase or use their product, when they are under the activation of their semantic memory.
Product image location in search engine advertising plays an important role in consumer perception when the product is relatively low involved and has functional value. The purpose of this research is to investigate the interaction effects of product image location and product type on advertising effectiveness. Building on the literature of location effects, we show that for products for which heaviness is considered a positive attribute, product image placed on the right are preferred. To test hypotheses, a 2(product image location: left vs. right) × 2(product type: single vs. bundle) experiment is conducted and a total of 144 paricipants took part in the experiment. The results revealed that respondents show higher brand attitude and purchse intention toward a bundle product's advertising with product image place on the right. The results provide implications and suggestions for improving search engine advertising and marketing strategies.
We develop a Fourier-Feynman theory for Fourier-type functionals ${\Delta}^kF$ and $\widehat{{\Delta}^kF}$ on Wiener space. We show that Fourier-Feynman transform and convolution of Fourier-type functionals exist. We also show that the Fourier-Feynman transform of the convolution product of Fourier-type functionals is a product of Fourier-Feynman transforms of each functionals.

This research was to see if the fashion product ads are standardized or differentiated, and to find what were the determinants if any differentiation existed. The purpose of this study was to identify cultural characteristics significant on marketing fashion produce. In addition, the relative importance of product appeals between rational and emotional in the fashion ads was examined. Hofstede's(l991) three cultural characteristics dimensions such as individualism-collectivism, power distance, masculinity-femininity were used. Content analysis was applied in the study. Magazine ads of apparel, cosmetics and accessories were collected from France, Japan, Korea and the US in 1999-2000. Cultural characteristics of the fashion ads were evaluated and compared in terms of country, product type and product involvement. Also ten consumption appeals were examined for county and product type. ANOVA, Duncan test and $X^2$ test were applied to analyze data. The results were shown as follows: First, all the cultural characteristics such as individualism-collectivism, power distance, and femininity-masculinity were different among countries. Second, two product appeals were significantly different among countries. Hedonic appeals were dominant fur France and the US while those were not for Korea and Japan. Third, product involvement level had significant impact on power distance characteristic and product appeals. Ads of high involvement fashion goods showed larger power distance and more emotional appeals. In conclusion, global fashion ads should be differentiated in terms of some cultural characteristics and product appeals.
This reserch categorizes the workplace recipient into selection criteria and studies the difference of demographic characteristics, counseling usage characteristics, job burnout, and differentiation of counseling behavior according to the subtype criteria. The survey has been collected 398 employee's responses who have no experience in counseling, who belong to the companies deploying counseling program and the companies are located in Seoul and Kyunggi area. As a result of the cluster analysis, the group was divided into "People-Product Oriented Type", "People-Product-Place Oriented Type", "People-Product-Process of service assembly Oriented Type". Subtype differentiates demographic characteristic and counseling usage characteristic and it convinces that junior employees belong to "People-Product Oriented Type" and senior employees belong to "People-Product-Place Oriented Type" and "People-Product-Process of service assembly Oriented Type". "People-Product-Process of service assembly Oriented Type" is the cluster who takes counseling services most likely if the counseling requirements are raised. Each subtype shows the differentiation of job burnout and "People-Product Oriented Type" is more exposed in job burnout among the subtypes which required urgent counseling assistance. This research is meaningful to take differentiated marketing strategies in subtype basis by considering workplace counseling service selection and recipient characteristics. Furthermore, it discusses the meaning of this research and the proposal for the further investigation.

In this paper, a method of disassembly time evaluation for a product has been proposed. The product designer can predict the ability of disassembly for a given product in terms of time by considering a type, size, weight, connection parts, and the movement distance of the product. The equation for calculating disassembly time were derived by applying the basis motion status of worker and some informations of connection parts, various tools, and many different type of assembly structures. The developed method of evaluating disassembly time has been applied to disassemble the product by manual labor. The proposed method has shown that the actual disassembly time was well predicted.
This research was intended to investigate how risk perception and risk reduction behavior by consumers differ according to different product characteristics of clothing. The responses of 318 female college students living in Seoul and surrounding vicinities were collected and analyzed. Inner wear, blue-jean pants, coat were selected as representing each clothing product characteristics. Frequencies distribution, regression and correlation coefficient were utilized for statistical analysis. Results are as follows. 1. The type of perceived risk and risk reduction behavior differed according to product characteristics of clothing. Physical and performance risk were more highly perceived for the purchase of innerwear. However, for the purchase of jean pants and coat, socio-psycho-logical and economic risk were also perceived highly because the rate of fashion change, social symbolism, and coordination with other clothing items become more important characteristics. To reduce perceived risk, dependency on past purchase experiences and shop-ping were mostly preferred method regardless of product characteristics of clothing. 2. Risk type as determinant variables for predicting overall risk differed according to product characteristics of clothing. But fashionability and usefulness were common determinant risk variables, which identifies typical characteristics of clothing product.
1. Introduction: Contrast to the offline purchasing environment, online store cannot offer the sense of touch or direct visual information of its product to the consumers. So the builder of the online shopping mall should provide more concrete and detailed product information(Kim 2008), and Alba (1997) also predicted that the quality of the offered information is determined by the post-purchase consumer satisfaction. In practice, many fashion and apparel online shopping malls offer the picture information with the product on the real person model to enhance the usefulness of product information. On the other virtual product experience has been suggested to the ways of overcoming the online consumers' limited perceptual capability (Jiang & Benbasat 2005). However, the adoption and the facilitation of the virtual reality tools requires high investment and technical specialty compared to the text/picture product information offerings (Shaffer 2006). This could make the entry barrier to the online shopping to the small retailers and sometimes it could be demanding high level of consumers' perceptual efforts. So the expensive technological solution could affects negatively to the consumer decision making processes. Nevertheless, most of the previous research on the online product information provision suggests the VR be the more effective tools. 2. Research Model and Hypothesis: Presented in
, research model suggests VR effect could be moderated by the product types by the usage situations. Product types could be defined as the portable product and installed product, and the information offering type as still picture of the product, picture of the product with the real-person model and VR. 3. Methods and Results: 3.1. Experimental design and measured variables We designed the 2(product types) X 3(product information types) experimental setting and measured dependent variables such as information usefulness, attitude toward the shopping mall, overall product quality, purchase intention and the revisiting intention. In the case of information usefulness and attitude toward the shopping mall were measured by multi-item scale. As a result of reliability test, Cronbach's Alpha value of each variable shows more than 0.6. Thus, we ensured that the internal consistency of items. 3.2. Manipulation check The main concern of this study is to verify the moderate effect by the product type of usage situation.
indicates that our experimental manipulation of the moderate effect of the product type was successful. 3.3. Results As
indicates, there was a significant main effect on the only one dependent variable(attitude toward the shopping mall) by the information types. As predicted, VR has highest mean value compared to other information types. Thus, H1 was partially supported. However, main effect by the product types was not found. To evaluate H2 and H3, a two-way ANOVA was conducted. As
indicates, there exist the interaction effects on the three dependent variables(information usefulness, overall product quality and purchase intention) by the information types and the product types. As predicted, picture of the product with the real-person model has highest mean among the information types in the case of portable product. On the other hand, VR has highest mean among the information types in the case of installed product. Thus, H2 and H3 was supported. 4. Implications: The present study found the moderate effect by the product type of usage situation. Based on the findings the following managerial implications are asserted. First, it was found that information types are affect only the attitude toward the shopping mall. The meaning of this finding is that VR effects are not enough to understand the product itself. Therefore, we must consider when and how to use this VR tools. Second, it was found that there exist the interaction effects on the information usefulness, overall product quality and purchase intention. This finding suggests that consideration of usage situation helps consumer's understanding of product and promotes their purchase intention. In conclusion, not only product attributes but also product usage situations must be fully considered by the online retailers when they want to meet the needs of consumers.

Home appliances go through a couple of packaging stages from the plant to consumers. The primary packaging, inner packaging for each part, happens for protection after products leave the plant. The secondary packaging happens in the unit of product, ensuring cushioning packaging to protect products from movement. The final tertiary packaging is for transportation and delivery. Each stage of product packaging, however, costs a lot of money because of disposable packaging materials used in each stage including vinyl, tapes, Styrofoam, and corrugated cardboards. Discarded packaging materials also cause environmental problems. In an effort to come up with a measure to solve those problems, this study proposed a plan to minimize logistics costs with semi-permanent packaging materials to replace disposable ones including Styrofoam, vinyl, and corrugated cardboards in the stages of inner packaging, cushioning packaging, product unit-based packaging, and transportation. The study also developed a model to cut down logistics costs by reducing various packaging stages including the primary, secondary, and tertiary stage only to the secondary one through module-type products instead of the transportation- and delivery-type ones, as well as demonstrated the excellence of the study through numerical analysis.
