  • There have been some studies about hybrid production system, which integrate push system and pull system. Most of them are based on the simple production system considering one product line. Though there are many studies about hybrid production system, it\`s not practical to implement them for real factory, because most of them did not consider various factors about real factory. On this study we designed hybrid production system considering some factor - one is automatic kanban generation, the other is dispatching rule for Multi-tasking worker, and the last one is the priority of kanban. At last, We give simulation results fur a real company, which produce various cameras in Korea.

  • Two new thiodiketopiperazines (TDKPs), designated graphiumins I (1) and J (2), were isolated from the culture broth of the marine-derived fungus Graphium sp. OPMF00224 by solvent extraction, silica gel column chromatography, and HPLC. Their absolute structures were elucidated by spectroscopic analyses (1D and 2D NMR data, ROESY correlations, and CD data) and chemical methods. They were found to be structurally rare TDKPs with a phenylalanine-derived indolin substructure. Compounds 1 and 2 inhibited yellow pigment production by methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) with $IC_{50}$ values of 63.5 and $76.5{\mu}g/ml$, respectively, without inhibiting its growth, even at $250{\mu}g/ml$.

  • Recently, a multi-facility, multi-product and multi-period industrial problem has been widely investigated in Supply Chain Management(SCM). One of the key issues in the current SCM research area involves reducing both production and distribution costs. We have developed an optimization model to tackle the above problems under the restricted conditions such as transportation time and a zero inventory. The model can be used to deride an appropriate factory and assign an optimal output the factory yields. This paper deals with the main idea of the proposed methodology in depth.

A Case Study of Explosion Accident at MEK-PO Factory using Consequence Analysis (결과분석을 이용한 MEK-PO 제조공장의 폭발사고 사례연구)

  • In this case study, results of the explosion accident at MEK-PO factory were analysed by using the consequence analysis of quantitative hazard assessment and the explosion energy, the burst pressure of vessel, and overpressures at the explosion center and at 300m distance from the explosion center were estimated, respectively. As a result, we found that a cause of accident was the runaway reaction of product(MEK-PO) because of the molecular expansion in vessel and that the possibility of the runaway reaction was classified the mechanical failure(the obstacle of refrigerator or the shutdown valve), design error, and operating error by lack of thermochemical knowledge. Also, the evasive action to prevent accident was suggested.

  • Virtual Manufacturing is a powerful methodology for developing a new product, new equipment and new production system. It enables us to check the errors in design before production. This paper deals with a case study of virtual manufacturing in an excavator factory. Boom and rotating table of upper body are selected for application. 3D models of parts and fixtures are developed with CATIA and 3D simulation models are developed with IGRIP. These models are used for the design of fixture to verify the motion of the equipment. As a result, the manual welding systems are replaced by automatic systems and many design errors are corrected in the design phase, which enables us to reduce the developing cost and time.

  • Factory automation(FA) is a part of technological innovation to make production process more efficient and it also facilitates technological innovation by accumulating the internalization ability of newly imported technology Introduction of FA, however, does not guarantee the increase of production efficiency and high product quality, moreover, the competitiveness of firm. The purpose of this paper is to analyze the relationship between firm's behavioral characteristics during implementation process of FA and organizational performance, and to find out success factors of FA. Results of the case studies for 4 SME's show that financial stability and the fitness between corporate strategy and the purpose of FA are the necessary conditions for successful implementation of FA. But the organizational restructuring for new manufacturing system, openness of all communication channels, and common mind of employees are also needed to achieve the high degree of performance from FA, especially the benefits of qualitative or organizational level.

  • 본 논문에서는 스마트 팩토리의 자동화 공정을 위하여 제품 자동 판별과 불량 시 작업자에게 자동으로 통보해주는 시스템을 설계한다. 생산라인의 효율을 극대화하기 위해서는 작업자의 개입이 적은 상태로 시스템에 의해서 자동으로 공정이 이루어져야 한다. 따라서 본 시스템을 적용해 작업자는 자동으로 돌아가는 라인에 크게 개입하지 않고 문제가 발생했을 때만 투입되어 조치할 수 있게 된다. 따라서 생산과 효율을 크게 증가시키면서 작업자의 실수를 미연에 방지하고 제품의 신뢰성을 향상시킬 수 있다.

  • This paper aims to develop a prediction model for the product quality of a casting process. Prediction of the product quality utilizes an artificial neural network (ANN) in order to renovate the manufacturing technology of the root industry. Various aspects of the research on the prediction algorithm for the casting process using an ANN have been investigated. First, the key process parameters have been selected by means of a statistics analysis of the process data. Then, the optimal number of the layers and neurons in the ANN structure is established. Next, feed-forward back propagation and the Levenberg-Marquardt algorithm are selected to be used for training. Simulation of the predicted product quality shows that the prediction is accurate. Finally, the proposed method shows that use of the ANN can be an effective tool for predicting the results of the casting process.

  • 은행의 경영환경은 급변하고 금융시장에서의 경쟁은 심화되고 있는 가운데 은행의 경쟁력 확보는 상품의 시장 진입 속도에 달려있으나, 상품 개발의 지연으로 시장 점유율의 확대 기회를 놓치고 있는 실정이다. 이에 국내 은행들은 시장 선점을 위해 IT기반의 금융 신상품 개발에 많은 투자를 하고 있다. 본 연구는 신속한 금융 신상품 개발을 위해 상품 조건들을 레고 블록처럼 조립하면 쉽고 빠르게 상품이 만들어 지는 IT기반의 상품 팩토리의 아키텍처와 상품 생성 관계도를 정의하며, 변동금리와 층화(Tier) 계층의 상품 생성에 효율적인 매트릭스 조건의 이율형을 제시한다. 아울러 이러한 기반을 활용한 시스템의 개발 생산성과 프로젝트의 특성 및 효과 등을 검증한다.
