This paper aims at providing guidelines enabling productive software construction by offering reusable modules which is used not only for effective maintenance for each step, but also for a re-engineering process after analyzing developed source code. There are four processing steps. The first is to analyze source code. The second is module slicing and clustering using McCabe and BP/Win Tools, The third is to transform the outputs extracted from the business model to reusable modules. The final step is to design repository and to construct a system. In this paper, we applied the fourth step to our case study, which was specified from the first step to the fourth. The specified fourth step contains various things for constructing repository. And the fourth step reanalyzes informal and unstructured information by using reverse engineering tools, in order to provide effective guidelines for productive software maintenance and re-engineering.
In order to reduce the cost of corrections and time needed for the block assembly process, the reverse setting method is applied for a back-heated block to neutralize deck deformation. The proper reverse setting shape for a back-heated block to correct deformation improved the deck flatness, but an excessive amount of reverse setting could inversely affect the flatness of the block. A prediction method was developed for the proper reverse setting shape using a back-heated block, considering the complex geometry of blocks, thickness of the deck plate, and thermal loading conditions such as welding and back-heating. The prediction method was developed by combining the re-meshing technique and inherent strain-based deformation analysis using the finite element method. Because the flatness deviation was decreased until the lower critical point and thereafter it tended to increase again, the optimum value for which the flatness was the best case was selected by repeatedly calculating the predefined reverse setting values. Based on this analysis and the study of the back-heating deformation of large assembly blocks, including the reverse setting shape, the mechanism for selecting the optimum reverse setting value was identified. The developed method was applied to the actual blocks of a ship, and it was confirmed that the flatness of the block was improved. It is concluded that the developed prediction method can be used to predict the optimum reverse setting shape value of a ship's block, which will reduce the cost of corrections in the construction stage.

The re-locatable military facilities are significant in combat zones with limited infrastructures. Military tents are particularly one of the most essential components in the battlefields, During the offensive operation. This study assesses educational effectiveness of the 4D Building Information Modeling (BIM), which is used to deliver educational information with considering re-locatable military facility construction. Furthermore, the real time for constructing temporary concentration camp was measured, By using analysis of variance associated with the educational effects of the 4D BIM. Statistically, understandability of facility construction using 4D BIM was found to be higher than the conventional educational materials with field manual.
Flow in a channel with an obstruction at the entry can be reverse, stagnant or forward depending on the position of the obstruction. These flow phenomena have potential applications in the control of energy and various flows in process engineering. Parameters that affect this flow inside and around the test channel are the gap (g) between the obstruction geometry and the test channel, the Reynolds number (Re) and the length (L) of the test channel. The influence of these parameters on the flow behavior was investigated using a flat plate obstruction at the entry of the channel. A low concentration polyacrylamide solution (0.018% by weight) showing a powerlaw fluid behavior was used as the fluid in this investigation. The flow phenomena were investigated by the velocity measurement and the flow visualization and their results were compared with numerical simulation. These results of low concentration polyacrylamide solution are also compared with the results of water published elsewhere (Kabir et al., 2003). The maximum reverse flow inside the test channel observed was 20% - 30% of the outside test channel velocity at a g/w (gap to width) ratio of 1 for Reynolds numbers of 1000 to 3500. The influence of the test channel length (L) and the Reynolds number (Re) on the velocity ratio ($V_i$/$V_o$: inside velocity/outside velocity in the test channel) are also presented and discussed here.

Genetic Programming (GP) is an intelligence technique whereby computer programs are encoded as a set of genes which are evolved utilizing a Genetic Algorithm (GA). In other words, the GP employs novel optimization techniques to modify computer programs; imitating the way humans develop programs by progressively re-writing them for solving problems automatically. Trial programs are frequently altered in the search for obtaining superior solutions due to the base is GA. These are evolutionary search techniques inspired by biological evolution such as mutation, reproduction, natural selection, recombination, and survival of the fittest. The power of GAs is being represented by an advancing range of applications; vector processing, quantum computing, VLSI circuit layout, and so on. But one of the most significant uses of GAs is the automatic generation of programs. Technically, the GP solves problems automatically without having to tell the computer specifically how to process it. To meet this requirement, the GP utilizes GAs to a "population" of trial programs, traditionally encoded in memory as tree-structures. Trial programs are estimated using a "fitness function" and the suited solutions picked for re-evaluation and modification such that this sequence is replicated until a "correct" program is generated. GP has represented its power by modifying a simple program for categorizing news stories, executing optical character recognition, medical signal filters, and for target identification, etc. This paper reviews existing literature regarding the GPs and their applications in different scientific fields and aims to provide an easy understanding of various types of GPs for beginners.

There is thixo-extrusion to form high strength aluminum alloy. But, it is a problem that grains become grain coarsening during reheating process because the alloy was exposed at high temperature. In order to solve grain growth during reheating process, calcium was added in Al-Zn-Mg alloys. Primary a grain sizes of semi-solid Al-Zn-Mg-(0, 0.4, 0.6 and 0.9, wt.%)Ca were measured with image analyzer after reheating. Measured primary a grain sizes were applied to LSW(Lifshitz-Slyozov and Wagner) equation to check the effect of Ca on grain coarsening. Coarsening rate constant K values of semi-solid Al-Zn-Mg-(0, 0.4, 0.6 and 0.9, wt.%)Ca alloys were $371\;mm^3s^{-1}$, $247\;mm^3s^{-1}$, $198\;mm^3s^{-1}$ and $166 mm^3s^{-1}$, respectively. As increasing calcium content, K value decreased which means grains are refined. Also, grains of calcium addition were more spherical than that of calcium free.
Although the use of CAD and CAM technologies has been broadly adopted by architecture-engineering- construction-facility management (AEC/FM) industry as the means of producing complex forms, there are still remained issues such as reducing cost, and enhancing quality and manufacturability. In this paper, to resolve given issues, we suggest a process of rationalization in digital architecture design and fabrication as an integrated approach. The rationalization, which is usually used as the term related with the skin panel of free-form architecture, is a process of re-designing a digital model to meet the requirements of manufacturing considering the gap with an original designs. Thus we classified this process and conducted a case study of fabricated models as an exploratory study. As the result, we found that each phase is connected with other phases with the circulation of information and rationalization process can be determined as the circulative process which re-designs digital model by minimally deviating from the original design based on the information deducted from analysis of inter-compatability of software and requirement of hardware.

The Aerosol Deposition (AD) process will be proposed as a new fabrication technology for the integrated RF modules. $\alpha$-A1$_2$O$_3$ thick films were successfully grown on glass and Al substrates at room temperature by the AD process. Relative dielectric permittivity and loss tangent of the $Al_2$O$_3$ thick films on Al showed 9.5 and 0.005, respectively. To form microstrip lines on aerosol-deposited A1903 thick films, copper electroplating and lithography processes were employed, and the square-type cross section with sharp edges could be obtained. Low-pass LC filters with 10 GHz cutoff frequency were simulated by an electromagnetic analysis, exhibiting the validity of the AD process as a fabrication technology f3r integrated RF modules.

The weight reduction of the transportations has become an important technical subject Al and Al alloys, especially Al 5052 alloys have been being applied as door materials for automobile. One of the most widely known car weight-reduction methods is to use light and corrosion-resistant aluminum alloys. However, because of high electrical and thermal conductivity and a low melting point, it is difficult to obtain good weld quality when working with the aluminum alloys. Also, Pulse MIG welding is the typical aluminum welding process, but it is difficult to apply to the thin plate, because of melt-through and humping-bead. In order to enhance weld quality, welding parameters should be considered in optimizing the welding process. In this experiment, Al 5052 sheets were used as specimens, and these materials were welded by adopting new Cold Metal Transfer (CMT) pulse process. The proper welding conditions such as welding current, welding speed, torch angle $50^{\circ}$ and gap 0~1mm are determined by tensile test and bead shape. Through this study, range of welding current are confirmed from 100A to 120A. And, the range of welding speed is confirmed from 1.2m/min to 1.5m/min.
The purpose of this study is to propose a strategy model for engineering education for citizen through the connection between colleges of science and engineering and science museums as a way to achieve citizen science. For this model, the role of universities was redefined as social contributions through engineering education from the perspective of knowledge triangle and university entrepreneurship. In addition, the science museum was re-examined as an engineering education platform and selected as an institution that supports the contribution of colleges to society. For practical model development, the connection types of these two institutions were analyzed as case studies and interview to collect opinions from experts in the science museum. In this process, convergence education content development, reinforcement of college-science museum linkage, infrastructure construction, development of college resource utilization plans, and maintenance and expansion of educational programs diversification were derived as components for model development. Based on this, engineering education model for citizen was presented that matches educational programs according to the type of participation of colleges including key factors and considerations.
