Indonesia is archipelago country and plural society which consist of diverse ethnic groups. This study select Java island and Java houses as a representative housing of Indonesia. The aim of this study is to present a comprehensive overview of traditional houses of Java in Indonesia by examining pre-existing literature. First, the Java House as a microcosm of the universe that shows universal and religious aspects. Furthermore, each building contains spiritual symbolism. These ideological aspects select the location and layout of the towns, villages and buildings, which create an order to the interior space. The space structure of Java housing is characterized by strong juxtaposition between east/west, front/back, public/private, male/female, and open space/ closed space. There is also a hierarchy of space, which were applied in floor level, height of space and lightness. The structure of the roof shows the best formativeness. Depending on the shape of the roof, the function of the building is shown, and also it represents the social rank and religious respect. Joglo's unique formativeness is an icon of the Java architect.

This research attempts to consider the influence of the green-contacts on the consciousness of the dwellers in the residential area of Nara. The consciousness of the dwellers is investigated by questionaire which deals with verdure, green-sufficiency and the green-contacts of dwellers. Five districts of the old residential area in Nara were selected and surveyed. The results of analysizing the investigated data summarized as follows. 1. The dwellers have a tendency to satisfy the greenery although the size of open space is small. Accordingly, the green-sufficiency is the available scale to investigate the greenery on the consciousnss of the dwellers. 2. Dwellers contact with the green space of housing as well as the surrounding failiarized-green. It was understood that the green-contacts of dwellers characterized by the kind of greenery, means and their frequency. 3. The familiarized-green contacts with the dwellers is related to the private and public uses. 4. In order to satisfy the feeling of green-sufficiency, the greenery space should be increased; it was found that green-sufficiency is satisfied by increasing the greenery space. 5. In the case of small open space, it is also possible to satisfy and attitude of green-sufficiency by introducing the familiarized-green, even if the rate of greenery space is low.

This study is the architectural planning of 5 distribution supporting facilities for traditional herbal medicine cultivated in the rural areas. The main function of the facility consists of storage, pre-treatment/processing, loading/unloading and the assistant function consists of inspection, office, exhibition/sale, technical equipment etc. The planning shows the modular plan and the section plan of the storage space reflecting the shape and size of storage container, the action radius of carrier and the possibilities of space lease. The total floor area of the storage is 3,192$m^2$ consisting of 27 space. The total floor area of the pre-treatment/processing is 1,488$m^2$ consisting of 7 space. The total floor area of the loading/unloading is 329$m^2$ consisting of 4 space. The total floor area of each facility storage is 8,284$m^2$ including of public space 2,170$m^2$. Also this planning shows the preliminary design, "fundamental model design" for 5 rural government BTL project. Therefore, this result of planning will be the guidelines of the RFP(Request For Proposal) for the private sector company interested in this BTL project.

The exploitation of the natural resources of the Moon and other celestial bodies represents one of the most exiting future developments in the field of space law as well as a unique occasion for the economic and social growth of mankind as a whole. The large number of benefits that are expected to be generated from the exploitation of these resources, indeed, not only will contribute to the betterment of conditions of people on Earth but also will allow mankind to face and likely solve one of the biggest problems currently affecting our planet, namely the exhaustion of the stocks of raw materials and other source of energy, such as fossil fuels. The exploitation of the natural resources of the Moon and other celestial bodies, however, has been prevented so far by the absence of dedicated space law rules allowing its orderly and peaceful development and clarifying the rights and duties of the parties involved in it. Due to the uncertainty generated by the absence of these rules, indeed, States as well as private operators have refrained from investing in the exploitation of space resources so far. The time to change this situation and to allow the exploitation of extraterrestrial resources to begin has finally come. This paper aims at fulfilling this purpose by proposing a legal regime containing specific and detailed rules to regulate the exploitation of the natural resources of the Moon and other celestial bodies.

The purpose of this study is providing useful information for consumer-friendly house plan by investigating remodeling apartments according to the area type and size. In order to achieve this aim, case study was applied. The case study was conducted of five small, medium, and large size apartments through depth-interviews, actual survey, and questionnaires on the remodeling behavior, interior design, and interior atmosphere. The results of the study are as follows: Structural alterations were frequent in communal area, and then in private and household areas. Changing lighting fixtures was frequent in all area types, and especially, in communal areas installing extra decoration was frequently observed. Besides, alterations of doors and window frames were carried out in communal, private, housework and service areas by using wood, aluminum sashes, double-glazing, and paint coating. Finally, in housework areas the material and color of counters were changed into wooden and achromatic.

Changing demographics, changing lifestyles. An international group of architects designs the homes of the future in places diverse as USA, Japan, South America and Europe. These architecture are also challenging the traditional structure of the private house, as we know it. Many of these architects are reinterpreting the private house, challenging traditional notions of what makes house. Here, the interior and exterior surfaces are transformed into 'smart skins', which blur the distinction between the digital and the real and become a part of the daily life of the occupants. The smart house will make possible amazing things we though existed only in science fiction, guarding or welfare, guessing our moods and catering to our demands in music, movies, temperature and ambience. And new materials will further transform our living areas.

우주의 급속한 상업화와 더불어 본격적인 상업우주운송시대가 열리고 있다. 이 상업우주운송 중 가장 먼저 실현될 것으로 보이는 분야는 우주여행분야로서 이를 위한 우주운송체 개발이 Virgin Galatic 사와 XCOR Aerospace 사 등 민간기업의 주도로 진행되고 있다. 우주여행을 위한 우주운송체는 재 사용가능한 운송체(Resuable Launch Vehicle)로 개발되고 있으며 Virgin Galatic사의 Spaceship I과 II는 시험비행을 성공리에 끝내고 2012년 경 부터 본격적인 우주여행에 투입할 계획이다. 우리나라도 예천천문연구센타에서 XCOR Aerospace사와 동사의 LYNX MARK-II를 도입하는 양해각서를 체결하고 계획대로 라면 2013년부터 동 우주선을 사용하여 우주여행을 실시하려고 하고 있다. 이와 같이 이제는 우주여행은 우리에게 먼 미래의 이야기가 아니라 현실적인 문제가 되었다. 그러나 우주여행을 위한 법적측면에서의 대비는 거의 마련되어 있지 않은 것도 국내외적 현실이다. 이에 따라 본 논문은 우주여행과 관련하여 발생할 수 있는 제반 법적 문제점을 (1) 항공법과 우주법 중 어느 법의 적용을 받아야 하는가 하는 적용법 문제와, (2)우주여행객의 법적지위 문제를 우주선원으로 볼 수 있는가와 우주비행참가자로 볼 수 있는가를 우주관련 조약과 미국의 개정 상업우주발사법을 통하여 살펴보고 우주여행객에 대한 우주선선장의 권한 문제도 살펴보았다. (3)우주여행사고시의 책임문제는 정부 및 비정부단체의 국제책임문제와 관련하여 살펴보고, (4)허가와 감독문제는 미국의 AST의 사례와 개정 상업우주발사법을 통하여 고찰하였다. 특히 우주선의 안전성 보장 문제가 우주여행의 본격화를 위해서는 필수적인 점에서 현행 법제도상의 한계점과 개선점에 대해서도 살펴보았다. (5)우주여행선의 등록문제도 우주물체 등록협약과 관련하여 살펴보고, (6)마지막으로 우주여행 사업의 리스크 보전차원에서 우주보험 문제를 제3자 손해에 대한 보험과 자기재산에 대한 손해 순으로 보험문제를 살펴보았다. 우주여행이 본격적으로 활성화되기 위해서는 적어도 본 논문에서 언급되고 있는 법적 문제점들에 대한 검토와 이에 대한 법적 제도적 보완 장치가 조속히 국내적으로도 국제적으로도 마련되어야 할 것으로 본다.

The purpose of this study was to clarify the space use pattern and the daily living activities of the elderly with dementia in the common space (dining room, day corner) of nursing home in Japan. The subjects were six units of the 2 nursing homes in Tokyo. For this, researcher visited from September 5 to December 5 and collected data by observations of behavior of the elderly with dementia in common space and interviews with staff for the information about basic characteristics of the elderly with dementia and administration and operation of the facilities. The data were analyzed using the frequency and percentage with SPSS 11 program and recorded in the form of behavior map. The results revealed as follows: first, 6 types (self-concentration type, physical environment-interest type, passive others-interest type, staffs-interaction type, other elderly-interaction type, visitors-interaction type) of the daily living activities of the elderly with dementia in common space were founded. Second, the daily living activities of the elderly with dementia in common space tended to focus on self-concentration type and physical environment-interest type. Third, physical environmental characteristics of common space affected space usage pattern of the elderly with dementia. And it was perceived like as living oriented space, social interaction space, facility space, staff oriented space. Conclusively it was suggested to plan dining space as semi-private space, day comer as semi-public space.

최근들어 우주분야가 빠르게 변화하고 있다. 우주군과 같은 우주의 군사화가 공개적으로 진행되고 있다. 또 한편으로는 정부 자금에 의한 정부 주도의 우주개발에서 뉴스페이스라고 불리는 민간 자본에 의한 우주상업화가 미국을 중심으로 크게 부각되고 있다. 여기에 미국은 아폴로 프로그램 종료이후 50년만에 유인우주 달탐사 사업인 Artemis 사업이 추진되고 있으며, 이에 수반하여 우주자원의 상업적 활용이 적극적으로 논의되고 있다. 비약적으로 발전하고 있는 우주기술로 인해 크게 1967년 제정되어 지금까지 우주활동의 규범을 제시해 온 우주조약은 수명이 다해가는지 모른다. 국제규범의 개정은 여러 국가의 이해관계가 반영되어야 하는 쉽지 않은 과정이다. 그럼에도 불구하고 새로운 우주시대를 맞이하려면 우리나라도 이러한 변화를 맞아들이기 위한 다양한 법적·정책적 연구가 필요하다.

The purpose of this study is to analyze behaior character of dementia patients and physical environment problem through survey, research and interview on the problems arising from the dementia specialized facilities and according to the data from it, suggesting a plan to improve physical environment and design guideline. Three hospitals were chosen, which had both private space, public space and semi-public space, and dementia patients were chosen from them, who were able to move room to room by themselves.
