  • This paper is for the a study on home healthcare system for a patient using SAW Tag. This system is useful when there's a patient in home. Many patients are wounded in restroom. But restroom is very private place and nobody want to be disturbed here. The place where the patient is most injured in the house is the toilet, and it is the point where the privacy of the individual should be kept and the patient's condition should be checked and cope with in case of emergency. And using saw tag, we can calculate position and ID through reflected rf signal. Therefore we propose a general home healthcare system. The management system utilized a seat bed system to monitor at-home patients. The system mounts a bio-signal measuring unit on a toilet seat, measures a bio-signal from the bio-signal measuring unit, and the measured bio-signal is transmitted to the main server through the user's smart phone. With proposed system, we can expand operation area to silver town where many patients are cared. In this paper we developed sensor system and saw tag positioning system and showed the result.

The data were collected by sketching and taking pictures of community centers, and interviewing with the representatives and old peoples. The results were as follows : 1) when the percentage of old population, the physical conditions of private houses of the elderly, and the usage pattern and needs for village community center were considered, the village community center as the welfare center for the elderly would be efficient. 2) The necessary spaces in village community center were entrance, kitchen, 2 rooms, living room, restroom, and storage. In addition to these, healthcare room or auditorium can be added according to the conditions of each village. 3) The elderly wanted the village community center as a social exchange space. Therefore, two rooms which many centers had, can be used for it, one for men and another one for women. 4) The living room can be used as the space for dining. 5) Maintenance and its fee should be considered at the stage of planning. 6) The outdoor toilets should be upgraded and the indoor restroom would be desirable.

  • Purpose With regard to the use of radioiodine in domestic medical institution, the case of exceeding the allowance of nuclear safety Act about radioactive concentration in drainage was found. Through understanding the cause of exceeding case and analyzing radioactive concentration in drainage, evaluating the relationship of the public waters in surroundings and usefulness. Materials and Methods From November 1, 2014 to April 30th, 2015, the research is aiming at domestic twenty hospitals for six months. By using a HPGe gamma-ray spectrometer(Canberra DSA-1000) and GENIE-2000 Analysis software for comparative analysis, measuring a radioactive concentration of radioiodine in drainage. Consequently, we confirm the excess of radioactive concentration of radioiodine in seven medical institutions. Results Conducting a survey of twenty hospitals and average radioactive concentration of radioiodine in drainage appears $42,100Bq/m^3$. The features of domestic hospitals where show a high radioactive concentration are a number of medical treatment patient when using radioactive iodine and the absence of private rest room. During I-131 whole body scan, the pretreatment procedure of urinating is considered emission of residual Iodine. In public waters, the cause of exceeding detect on radioactive concentration in drainage suppose a diagnostic radioactive iodine. Conclusion We confirm the importance of enhanced education, providing a safety control instructions and installing a private rest rooms for patients who injected a low capacity radioiodine. Also, constructing institutional and legal management system is considered about the Emission management standard in drainage.

The majority of them are almost 65-84 years old with living detached house. Most of them own their house. They living in detached house are of a mind to remodel bath/toilet first of all and they living in apartment or row houses have a intention of remodeling an air conditioner and paper walls and ceiling and flooring of all things in house. As the bath and restroom have been pointed as a dangerous space for elderly, the elderly living alone pointed out them as to be remodeled. It seemed the air conditioner in house do not work well in view of their poor economic condition. For the elderly It is needed economic and institutional supports of private organization or government.
