A Study on the Emotional Labor of Apartment Security Guards (아파트경비원의 감정노동에 관한 연구)

  • 이 연구는 선행연구를 바탕으로 아파트경비원에 대한 감정노동에 대한 경비원들의 경험을 통하여 나타나는 문제점과 이에 대한 효율적인 발전방향을 제시하는데 있다. 심층면담 범주와 결과 크게 3가지로 나누었으며 첫째. 경비원들이 인식하는 감정노동인식은 높은 것으로 나타났다. 또한 주민들의 욕설 및 인격모독에 따른 스트레스 증가로 인해 의욕저하로 이어져 왔다. 둘째, 열악한 근무환경에 따른 휴게시간이 보장되지 않으며 경비업무 외적인 업무를 더 많이 수행하는걸로 나타났다. 셋째, 입주민들의 경비업무에 대한 이해도가 낮았으며 수평적 관계가 아닌 갑을관계로 인식하는 경향도 나타났으며. 또한 거기에 따른 부당한 업무지시로 인해 높은 노동강도를 보이고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 법 개정을 통하여 인권에 사각지대에 놓인 아파트경비원을 보호할 장치가 마련되어야 할 것으로 판단되며, 입주민들의 경비업무에 대한 이해도를 높이고 나아가 처우개선 및 근무환경개선이 필요하다고 사료된다.

  • Recently the demand for civil bodyguards and security guards shows rapid growth by the social development and improve the quality of life. However the supply and training system have some limitations in spite of the high demand guard-secretary. The main role of secretaries has been to accompany superiors in order to maintain their dignity or trait. But the secretaries are required to play additional roles of safety managers such as a security manager, a protocol manager, an intelligence manager and a protective driver in order to overcome the domestic and the international safety environment and to elevate the quality of service as a competitive work. So, the purpose of this article is to analyse current situation of civil body and security guard training industry and to seek an educational model. For it, the following questions will be examined. First, Do the professional training organizations meet social demand for the body and security guards? Second, What kind of training has to be provide for the body and security guards? and what the qualifications of the trainers? Then, what are the differences in training courses between private organizations and universities? Is there differences in the job placement among the trainers of private organizations and universities? etc.. In summary to meet the social demand common curriculum for the body and security guard will be drawn from the analyses of diverse training organizations with different training courses in contents, training periods, educational value, and social aim.

Development of Fatigue Scale of Private Security Guards (민간경비원의 피로도 척도개발)

  • This study is to develop a fatigue scale for the private security guard for a private security guard to effectively manage fatigue were tested for validity and reliability. To achieve that, this study employed purposive sampling to draw 300 samples among private security guards working for the security firms registered in Seoul District Police Office as of 2014, and used 259 samples for final analysis. Fatigue scale was developed on the basis of the scale development methods and procedures in previous studies. For data processing, SPSSWIN 18.0 program was applied to conduct exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, and correlation analysis, and AMOS 18.0 program was employed to conduct confirmatory factory analysis. This study came to the following conclusion. First, the validity of the fatigue measurement tool was high. In other words, content validity was high, and construct validity was also high. The factor loading of exploratory factor analysis was .452, and the standard value of confirmatory factor analysis was .403. Therefore, the tool satisfied the basis value of fit index. The sub categories of fatigue, finally drawn from validity test, were mental fatigue, nervous system dysfunction, physical deformity, and exhaustion. Secondly, the reliability of the fatigue measurement tool was high. In other words, according to item analysis, the correlation between items and their sub categories, and between items and total score was more than .602, relatively high. And the reliability coefficient (Cronbach's ${\alpha}$) was high, or more than .658. Fatigue Scale tool will be developed by private security guards in the present study is to measure the validity and reliability verification is clearly tired of the private security guards than the tools that are used in other studies in the existing area.

A comparison study of the characteristics of private and public security service of Koryo dynasty and modern security service (고려시대 공적·사적경호의 특성과 현대경호와의 비교연구)

  • This study considers the characteristics of the separation of public and private security service during Koryo dynasty, and compares it with the modern security service. Modern day security service's definition of private and public security service was used to distinguish them. Given the different historical settings, it's difficult to argue that the distinction between public and private service during Koryo dynasty was clear, but it can be said that public security service was centered around palace guard and concerns the activities of protest, and military made for the relationship, and private security service was centered around power of DoBang and includes the activities of malingering, and Byolchogun. During the early days of Koryo, protest, district military and soldiers who stay in the palace were all parts of a palace revolt and this institutional improvement of soldiers who stay in the palace was accomplished during King Seongjong's rule. The tradition of a palace revolt can find its roots in the middle military, and after the unification, a palace revolt was reformed into the king's palace revolt of second and the 6th along the course of establishing the nation's system. All of the changes stem from the reformation for consolidating the royal authority. Gyung Dae Seoung wanted to protect himself and he slept with his army night and days and because of that, group of soldiers was created and it was called DOBANG. Some members were from dobang gyeonryong, The forced were powerful because it was gathered with a warriors with extraordinaire martial arts and competent management. Most of the soldiers followed gyeong dae seung because they believed that he has a strong leadership and loves his people, and had a strong faith in him. However, the general gyeong jang had a belief that politics must be reverted to the previous so the relationships between jungbang wasn't smooth. Because of the economic operational problems, due to fraud committed by the mens under his command failed to maintain integrity and was criticised.The misconception also fed up with the emperor and the deepening relationships between the soldiers, his dobang was dismantled. After he took over the dobang, for his personal safety and to strengthen his position he compensated gyeon dae seong's dobang and developed the organization. In the process of extending the dobang Choi chung heon recruited many talented people to strengthen the military base, and also accepted the advice and expanded the power of Dobang. Choi Chung Heon thus consolidated his political gains by weakening the power of the king's army and adjusting the myth, which could've threatened his regime, and this was called Dobang number 6th. Dobang number six got even more powerful by his son named Choi woo, and after ruling, he expanded into a room, and a substantial reorganization of Dobang was developed. And then the creation of yabyeolcho also showed the effect to prevent the crisis. Although the palace guards who were public security service of Koryo Dynasty was still maintained during the military rule era when the royal authority was incapacitated, it was only maintained to have a symbolic meaning as the actual authority including military power was with Choi, the master of Dobang, private security service group. Likewise, during the rule of Choi, private securty service could reign over public security service, and the noteworthy characteristic of Dobang is that it assisted the private soldier groups to seize the military power by reorganizing and modifying military system. Although both differences and similarities can be found when comparing the guards of Koryo Dynasty with those of contemporary society, they have a similarity in terms of the essence of guards that they guarantee the safety of their clients. As for differences, the royalty of Koryo Dynasty and the pursuit of profit of contemporary society are in contrast, and contemporary guards can be seen as the fulfillment of responsibility and duty by free will, whereas guards of Koryo Dynasty were ruled with military coercion.

The Reinforcing plan of private security capabilities (민간경비역량의 강화방안)

  • Recently in the condition of increasing of cruel-hearted crime, it is limited to keep the community safe by only police force and expanding role of private security is required. But current private security law and relation law have many delimitations. So reinforcing of Private security capabilities is needed and several measures are required. Integration of private security law and private police guards is the foundation of rule introduced of specific rights of private guards. Also authority of the private security should be ruled in private security law to prepare the conditions of performed guard duties. In relation to this, questioning of a suspicious person by a patrolman should be granted to the private security. Strengthening authority of private security can be helpful in preventing crime and policing.

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze and interpret the current situation of private security companies·guards for the past three years, security companies by size, general·special (new education), and qualification system provided by the Police Agency, Security Association, etc. It provides a theoretical foundation for private security and provides a new perspective for interpreting private security. As a result, through the current situation, this private security has a concentration of metropolitan area and facility security, an abnormal personal protection company contrast, the number of personal protection institutes, there is a special security shift to regular jobs, and the current continuous education On the other hand, the education of special security guards has been shown to be limited. In the qualification system, the utilization of security instructor qualifications and the utilization and public relations of personal probation officer qualifications will appear. The current state of typical private security is as follows. The first is the balanced development of private security and the clarity of business divisions. Second, the quality of private security education and educational institutions must be high. Third is the recognition of the qualification system and active public relations.

Relations between Conflict Management Style of Private Security Guards in Organizational Effectiveness (민간경호경비조직의 갈등관리방식과 조직성과의 관계)

  • The purpose of this study aimed to examine relations between conflict management method and organization of private security companies. 286 guards who worked at security compromies in Seoul in 2010 were selected by using the method of judgment sampling and 279 guards were used for analysis. Reliability of questionnaire used for this study was over .642 in value of Cronbach's $\alpha$. Collected data was analyzed by using factor analysis, reliability analysis, t-test, F-test, multiple regression analysis and SPSSWIN 17.0. The result is as follows. First, conflict management method for security guards is different depending on socio-demographic features. Second, organizational performance of security guards is different depending on socio-demographic features. Third, conflict management method of security guards has effect on organizational performance. The higher the method of managing conflict through integration, compromise, favor and governance, the higher cohesion, organizational immersion and job satisfaction.

So this paper is showing what a social dominant factor and a divice of development of the private security. Capitalism is based on a material desire of the human being. the social control of capital value and the management of capital ability reflects the actual condition of the capitalism well. The unconstrained growing and the expansion of capitalism, it finally lost social meaning and an importance of human being element and the safety of the civilian life, began to threat the security of citizen by forming over the material center structure of society. Improving human life quality and material richness on their life leads positive factor of capitalism whereas is causing several crimes through the society which is being threatened around a human being life for a negative factor of the capitalism. Therefore capitalistic social system has offered both a positive factor 'growing' and 'richness' and that of a negative 'structural poverty' and 'lack of security' and they have been remaining the assignment of capitalism 'poverty' and 'security' by settlement in the society for a extremely phenomenon of both sides. In Korea because their recognition of the study approach and the social safety for social security control function is still staying first step and our daily life is annoying from various threat of the society. many studies and the realistic necessity of experience related with social security is being studied. In addition. The development possibility of the civil guard and defense at the civil field which will be keep the social security has a wide position but its study approach and realistic comprehension is still in insufficient condition.
