The Roll-to-Roll system including continuous flexible thin materials and roller has its wide range of applications especially in the electronic printing industry. The industry is growing rapidly and the printing speed is also improving. However, the printing machine based on web and roller system has it own problem. As the web speed increases, the failure to maintain the contact may occur and the air entrain between the roller and the paper web may exist. Air bubbles may remain attached to electronic ink on the web causing defects on product surface. With the development of image processing technique, the airflow around the web and rolls can be visualized and calculated by PIV method. In our experiment, the simple web and rolls system is used to R2R simulator. The flow field is studied at various web speeds and positions. The result shows that the flow field has complicated structure with turbulent characteristic and the main trend of flow is obtained by taking time average of flow field.

Since a 5-axis machine tool has two rotary axes, it offers numerous advantages, such as flexible accessibility, longer tool life, better surface finish, and more accuracy. Moreover, it can conduct whole machining by rotating the rotary feed axes while setting the fixture at once without re-fixing in contrast to conventional 3-axis machining. However, it is difficult to produce complicated products that have a hollow shape. In contrast, 3D printing can produce an object with a complicated hollow shape easily and rapidly. However, because of layer thickness and shrinkage, its surface finish and dimensional accuracy are not adequate. Therefore, this study proposes hybrid technology by integrating the advantages of these two manufacturing processes. 3D printing was used as the additive manufacturing rapidly in the whole body, and 5-axis machining was used as the subtractive manufacturing accurately in the joining and driving places. The reliability of the proposed technology was verified through a comparison with conventional technology in the aspects of processing time, surface roughness. and dimensional accuracy.
The Roll-to-Roll system including continuous flexible thin materials and roller has its wide range of applications especially in the electronic printing industry. The industry is growing rapidly and the printing speed is also improving. However, the printing machine based on web and roller system has it own problem. As the web speed increases, the failure to wet the surface may occur and the air entrains between the liquid and the paper web. Air bubbles may remain attached to the paper web causing defects on product surface. With the development of image processing technique, the air airflow around the web and rolls can be visualized and calculated by PIV method. Purpose: The purpose of this study is to compare the shear bond strength of 3D printing denture base resin according to surface treatment of artificial teeth. Materials and methods: 3D printing denture base resin was fabricated as specimens using 3D printer. The experimental group divided the surface treatment of artificial teeth into five groups according to the application of sandblasting and primer (n=10). Shear bond strengths between denture base and artificial teeth were measured by universal testing machine. All measurements were analyzed by one-way ANOVA and Turkey test (α=.05). Fracture mode of each specimen was analyzed. Microscopic evaluation was conducted by using a scanning electron microscope. Results: Unsurfaced treated group represented the lowest value. The primer groups had significantly higher result values (P<.05). Most specimens of the primer groups had cohesive failure. Conclusion: In 3D printing denture base resin group, mechanical and chemical surface treatment of artificial teeth has increased the shear bond strength. Therefore, if dentures are produced using 3D printing, proper mechanical and chemical treatment of artificial teeth is necessary for adhesion of dentures and artificial teeth.

In gravure printing ink in printed flexible packaging considering the characteristics of the study more accurate color management options and results were as follows. When applying G7 calibration, P2P of the target GRACol G7 evaluate the delta $L^*$ and delta $F^*$, CMY and K-scale average of the results of delta $L^*$ and the highest tolerance G7 average of 1.5 and 3.0 are included in all the best. In addition, the average delta $F^*$ and super delta $F^*$, G7 tolerance by being included within the scope of color management, G7 calibration was possible. Target IT 8.7/4 CMYK, when applied to the calibration G7, Color gravure printing machine is applied to the average of the previous decreased from 12.4 to 3.6. In addition, if a digital proof is EPSON WT 7900 the average color applied to the previous reduction from 5.24 to 0.74 because of the gravure printing color proofing system was effective in the management. G7 calibration by applying the reference print profile of the Epson WT 7900-G-icc, the average was 0.74 coloration, and gravure-G-icc cases, the average color of the 3.60 per GRACol average of all the five colors below were included within the allowable range. Thus, the flexible packaging gravure printing color management of printed after applying the first G7 calibration, the results refer to the press by the profiling, and where best to take advantage of the profile creation was good.

Additive manufacturing (AM) is an alternative metal fabrication technology. The outstanding advantage of AM (3D-printing, direct manufacturing), is the ability to form shapes that cannot be formed with any other traditional technology. 3D-printing began as a new method of prototyping in plastics. Nowadays, AM in metals allows to realize not only net-shape geometry, but also high fatigue strength and corrosion resistant parts. This success of AM in metals enables new applications of the technology in important fields, such as production of medical implants. The 3D-printing of medical implants is an extremely rapidly developing application. The success of this development lies in the fact that patient-specific implants can promote patient recovery, as often it is the only alternative to amputation. The production of AM implants provides a relatively fast and effective solution for complex surgical cases. However, there are still numerous challenging open issues in medical 3D-printing. The goal of the current research review is to explain the whole technological and design chain of bio-medical bone implant production from the computed tomography that is performed by the surgeon, to conversion to a computer aided drawing file, to production of implants, including the necessary post-processing procedures and certification. The current work presents examples that were produced by joint work of Polygon Medical Engineering, Russia and by TechMed, the AM Center of Israel Institute of Metals. Polygon provided 3D-planning and 3D-modelling specifically for the implants production. TechMed were in charge of the optimization of models and they manufactured the implants by Electron-Beam Melting ($EBM^{(R)}$), using an Arcam $EBM^{(R)}$ A2X machine.

Electrohydrodynamic jet (e-jet) printing, a type of direct contactless microfabrication technology, is a versatile fabrication process that enables a wide range of micro/nanopattern arrays by applying a strong electric field between the nozzle and the substrate. In general, the morphology and the thickness of polymers/quantum dot micropatterns show a systematic dependence on the diameter of the nozzle and the ink composition with a fully automated printing machine. The purpose of this report is to provide typical examples of e-jet printed micropatterns of polymers/quantum dots to explain the effect of each process variable on the result of experiments. Here, we demonstrate several operating conditions that allow high-resolution printing of layers of polymers/quantum dots with a precise control over thickness and submicron lateral resolution.

This study aimed to evaluate the effect of post-curing equipment and time on the flexural strength of 3D printing resins produced by a liquid crystal display(LCD) printer. The three 3D printing resins(DENTCA Denture Teeth, DT; C&B 5.0 hybrid, CH; C&B Permanent A2, CP) were divided into four groups according to post-curing time(10 min and 30 min) and equipment with or without vacuum treatment. For the three-point flexural strength test and biaxial strength test were prepared by method according to ISO 10477, ISO 6872, respectively. Flexural strength was measured with universal testing machine. Comparison between post-curing time of each post-curing equipment was analyzed by independent sample t-test and Mann-Whitney U test(α=.05), and comparison between groups according to each 3D printing resin was performed by Kruskal-Wallis test and post-hoc by Bonferroni-Dunn test(α=.05). The flexural strength of the resin post-curing under vacuum was higher than that of the resin post-curing in air. In the comparison according to the post-curing time, in the case of the post-curing equipment without vacuum, the 30 minute curing time showed significantly higher flexural strength than the 10 minute curing time, except for the biaxial flexural strength of CH(P<.05). In the post-curing equipment with vacuum, the three-point flexural strength of all 3D printing resins(DT, CH, and CP) showed a higher value at 30 minute curing time than at 10 minute curing time.
