프리미티브 기반 탄성체 시뮬레이션 (Primitive-Based Elastic Deformation)

  • 본 논문은 프리미티브 모델을 이용하여 다양하고 복잡한 모델에 대한 변형을 직관적으로 제어할 수 있는 새로운 방법을 제안한다. 복잡한 원본 모델을 아우를 수 있는 단순화된 프리미티브 모델에 대응시킨 뒤, 프리미티브 모델의 변형기법을 적용한 결과를 이용해 원본 모델을 역산하는 방식으로 탄성체를 제어하는 방법을 제안한다. 하나의 프리미티브 모델만으로 서로 다른 형태를 가진 탄성체 모델들을 모두 제어할 수 있기에 한 종류의 모델로는 한 종류의 탄성체 시뮬레이션밖에 수행하지 못했던 기존 기법과 차별점을 가지고 있다. 결과적으로, 다수의 모델을 변형시키기 위해 다수의 예제를 요구했던 기존 기법에 비해, 본 논문은 하나의 예제 프리미티브를 편집하여 다양한 모델의 변형을 손쉽고 직관적으로 제어하는 결과를 보여주고 있다.

다중 원시신호 기반 심전도 신호의 R-Peak 검출 알고리즘 (R-Peak Detection Algorithm in ECG Signal Based on Multi-Scaled Primitive Signal)

  • The existing R-peak detection research suggests improving the distortion of the signal such as baseline variations in ECG signals by using preprocessing techniques such as a bandpass filtering. However, preprocessing can introduce another distortion, as it can generate a false detection in the R-wave detection. In this paper, we propose an R-peak detection algorithm in ECG signal, based on primitive signal in order to detect reliably an R-peak in baseline variation. First, the proposed algorithm decides the primitive signal to represent the QRS complex in ECG signal, and by scaling the time axis and voltage axis, extracts multiple primitive signals. Second, the algorithm detects the candidates of the R-peak using the value of the voltage. Third, the algorithm measures the similarity between multiple primitive signals and the R-peak candidates. Finally, the algorithm detects the R-peak using the mean and the standard deviation of similarity. Throughout the experiment, we confirmed that the algorithm detected reliably a QRS group similar to multiple primitive signals. Specifically, the algorithm can achieve an R-peak detection rate greater than an average rate of 99.9%, based on eight records of MIT-BIH ADB used in this experiment.

중국동북지역 소수민족의 원시적 주거형식과 한국주거와의 관계 -혁철족(赫哲族), 악륜춘족(鄂倫春族), 악온극족(鄂溫克族), 달알이족(達斡爾族), 몽고족(蒙古族)을 중심으로- (The Primitive Housing of the Ethnic Minorities of Northeastern China, and their Influence on Korean Traditional Houses - based on the Case Study of Five Ethnic Minorities in Heilungjiang and Inner Mongolian Provinces -)

  • Historical study of Korean traditional houses have been carried, mainly, based on the geographical region of Korean peninsula. However, the case of primitive houses can not be researched according to the geographical and racial concept of modern nations. This study aims to examine the primitive houses of ethnic minorities of northeastern China, where the cultural and racial background have been deeply rooted in the history of Korea as well as Korean traditional houses. Through the field research and literary materials, the basic types of primitive houses of the five ethnic minorities could be identified. Among these types, those that have possible relationship with Korean houses, are cone shaped house, underground house, and elevated wooden house. Archeological evidences of underground houses were amply found in Korea already, but above ground evidences could not be found. However, It seems quite certain that the cone shaped houses and elevated wooden houses, too, existed in Korea as one of the earliest housing types, as can be examined in remaining examples in Korean peninsula. With no doubt, the primitive houses of Korea have strong connection with that of the ethnic minorities of northeastern China. This can be verified through the facts that the evidences of cone shaped houses, the similarities of the use of Inner space, the evidences of elevated wooden houses. Also, the combination of wooden floor and ondol, which is known to be one of the strongest characteristic of Korean traditional houses, could be originated from the combination of primitive summer house, the elevated wooden house, and the winter house, the underground house with ondol.

  • [ $GF(2^m)$ ]의 기약 3항식인 $x^m+x+1$을 이용한 승산기 알고리즘은 Mastrovito에 의해 제안되었다. 본 논문에서는 기약 3항식 $x^m+x+1$에서 1$GF(2^m)$상의 원시 기약 3 항식을 전개하여 회로를 간략화 하였으며, 제안된 승산기 설계는 규칙적이며 모듈러 구조, 그리고 간단한 제어신호를 요하기 때문에 VLSI 실현이 용이하다고 사료된다.

Relation between the Irreducible Polynomials that Generates the Same Binary Sequence Over Odd Characteristic Field

  • A pseudo-random sequence generated by using a primitive polynomial, trace function, and Legendre symbol has been researched in our previous work. Our previous sequence has some interesting features such as period, autocorrelation, and linear complexity. A pseudo-random sequence widely used in cryptography. However, from the aspect of the practical use in cryptographic systems sequence needs to generate swiftly. Our previous sequence generated by utilizing a primitive polynomial, however, finding a primitive polynomial requires high calculating cost when the degree or the characteristic is large. It’s a shortcoming of our previous work. The main contribution of this work is to find some relation between the generated sequence and irreducible polynomials. The purpose of this relationship is to generate the same sequence without utilizing a primitive polynomial. From the experimental observation, it is found that there are (p - 1)/2 kinds of polynomial, which generates the same sequence. In addition, some of these polynomials are non-primitive polynomial. In this paper, these relationships between the sequence and the polynomials are shown by some examples. Furthermore, these relationships are proven theoretically also.

다중스캔 모드를 이용한 형태론적인 형상분해 (Morphological Shape Decomposition using Multiscan Mode)

  • 본 연구에서는 패턴인식과 영상압축을 목적으로 2-D 영상내에 포함되어 있는 물체들의 복잡한 형상을 형태론적 연산을 이용하여 단순한 원시형상 요소들로 분해하는 방법에 관해 연구하였다. 기존의 형태론적 형상분해 알고리즘에서 가장 큰 문제점은 형상을 표현하고 기술하는데 필요한 원시형상 요소의 수가 너무 많이 생성된다는 것이다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 개선하기 위하여 형상의 기하학적인 특징과 가장 유사한 원시형상 요소와 4개의 스캔모드를 사용하는 형상 분해법을 새롭게 제안하였다. 제안된 알고리즘은 4개의 스 캔모드를 사용해서 원판, 정사각형, 마름모 꼴 등으로 구성되는 원시형상 요소를 추출하는 방법이다. 이와 같은 알고리즘은 기술 오차를 줄이면서 원시형상 요소의 수를 줄여 기술효율을 높일 수 있는 방법으로 최소의 중복성을 보장할 수 있으며, 알고리즘이 단순하고 계산 시간이 감소한다는 특징이 있다.

원시주의(Primitivism)를 반영한 패션디자인에서의 소재표현기법 연구 (A Study on Textile Expression Technique Influenced by Primitivism shown in Fashion Design)

  • Primitivism is a concept that expresses and organizes natural feelings of human beings which is hard to be identified by a rigid definition. It means "staying in the beginning or the initial state, not evolving or developing, and not affected by human beings from the intact natural state". Based on this meaning, the artistic style features inherent natural beauties, as well as plain and inornate design. These features have been reflected in a variety of art pieces. The aesthetic features shown in the primitivism art pieces can be categorized into four different aspects: naturalness, folksiness, sentimentality, and humorousness. These features, influencing modern fashion, have been reinvented by a number of fashion designers. They also adopted ideas from the fancy clothes and ornaments created in carefree life style of the regions retaining their primitive cultures, such as Africa, Oceania, and Pacific coasts, and applied those ideas to various silhouette, colors, patterns, and textiles. Particularly as for textile expressions, they tried printing techniques using the patterns motivated from primitive folk symbols or the nature, applied objet of primitive materials and elaborated ornaments that represent folk and primitive feelings, and employed the primitive techniques such as knotting, crude cutting, or natural draping, to reinvent them as textile expressions in modern fashion.

서로 다른 프리미티브 집합을 사용하는 CAD 시스템 사이에 선박 의장 설계 데이터의 교환 (Ship Outfitting Design Data Exchange between CAD Systems Using Different Primitive Set)

  • Different CAD systems are used in ship outfitting design on different usage and purpose. Therefore, data exchanges between CAD systems are required from different formats. For data exchange, boundary representation standard formats such as IGES and ISO 10303 (STEP) are widely used. However, they present only B-rep representation. Because of different CAD systems have their own geometry format, data exchanges with design intend are difficult. Especially, Tribon and PDMS use primitives for express their geometry in ship outfitting design. However, Tribon primitives are represented their parameter by values that are non-parametric. Therefore, data size of catalogue library is bigger than different CAD system using parametric primitive representation. And that system has difficulty on data reprocessing. To solve that problem, we discuss about shape DB which contains design parameters of primitive for exchange Tribon primitives. And geometry data exchange between Tribon and Shape Database that defines based on PDMS scheme are specified using primitive mapping that can represent design intend.
