Due to fast development of communications, knowledge and information have been become digitalized and distributed actively. However, the misuse and abuse of digital properties and security problems frequently take place. In this paper, we analyze the cases of the misuse and abuse of contents and the contents protection technology. We propose important items for protection technology to prevent contents from misuse and abuse based on results of the analyses. These important items are expected to be used as important factors for establishing protection technology standards.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to develop content for safety education to prevent hospital safety accidents among hospitalized children and to investigate the status of safety education performed by nurses. Methods: First, the Delphi method was used, with 18 experts, to develop educational contents for preventing safety accidents. Second, an exploratory survey was performed of the actual status of safety education for preventing safety accidents among hospitalized children using a questionnaire developed based on the Delphi method. The participants of this study were 159 nurses with at least 6 months of work experience. Results: The educational content developed through the Delphi method for preventing safety accidents among hospitalized children contained seven domains (falls, injury, electric shocks/burns, suffocation/aspiration, poisoning/abuse, kidnapping, medical devices) with 44 topics. The item mean of nurses'perceptions of the importance of child safety education was 4.18, and the actual performance score was 3.72, which was a statistically significant difference (t=11.58, p<.001). Conclusion: These seven comprehensive domains of accident prevention education for hospitalized children are expected to be useful for interventions to support the safety of hospitalized children.

In the Korean fishing boats, the abuse of Japanese term is intense. It becomes a reason of preventing the free communications between the crews who have been working for long time in the ship and crews who start new life in the ship as beginner. Also the former cannot feel and understand easily the contents of the textbook and manual which are explained with Korean or English terminology. It is reasonable that Japanese terms are no longer use in the vessel if possible. We searched and classified 170 or more Japanese terms which are used popularly in the fishing boats. So, we expect this paper is a basic research for the eradication of the Japanese terms in the Korean fishing boats.

Recently, in the course of business processes a variety of abuse cases of fax documents is common in general corporate, government, and financial institutions. To solve this problem, it is necessary for a technique to prevent falsification of fax documents. In this paper, we propose a new fax sender verification technique based on pattern analysis to prevent falsification of fax documents only using the received fax document. In the proposed technique, the fax sender is verified by analyzing the communication signal patterns between the fax sender and receiver and image pattern in the received fax document. In this paper, we conduct the experiments that apply our technique to real-world fax systems, and then tamper-proof effects were confirmed from the experimental results.

As the increase of violent crimes such as robbery, murder, and rape has become a social problem, the government is considering institutionalizing the identification of criminals to prevent crime and to guarantee people's right to know. Such an atmosphere led to the approval of the revision of 'Special Law On the Punishment of Specific violent Crimes' in the National Assembly in April 2010. The revision allows the revelation of the profiles of crime suspects including the pictures of their faces at the investigation stage. However, whether the revision had been effective in preventing crime has not been demonstrated empirically. Moreover, identity revelation is a grave intrusion into privacy and an abuse of human rights such as personal rights and the right to a fair trial, since personal information of criminal suspects would be released to the media prior to the court's final judgements. Also it violates the principle of presumption of innocence, the principles of due process, the principle of double jeopardy, the principle of prohibition against excessive, the principles of clarity, and the principle of liability.
