A Low-Voltage High-Speed CMOS Inverter-Based Digital Differential Transmitter with Impedance Matching Control and Mismatch Calibration

  • A digital differential transmitter based on CMOS inverter worked up to 2.8 Gbps at the supply voltage of 1 V with a $0.18{\mu}m$ CMOS process. By calibrating the output impedance of the transmitter, the impedance matching between the transmitter output and the transmission line is achieved. The PVT variations of pre-driver are compensated by the calibration of the rising-edge delay and falling-edge delay of the pre-driver outputs. The chip fabricated with a $0.18{\mu}m$ CMOS process, which uses the standard supply voltage of 1.8 V, gives the highest data rate of 4Gbps at the supply voltage of 1.2 V. The proposed calibration schemes improve the eye opening with the voltage margin by 200% and the timing margin by 30%, at 2.8 Gbps and 1 V.

  • The increase of vehicles stagnations leads to the increasing attention to the way customers pay and a large number of projects on electronic cash system. Transport system is comprised of a number of advanced technologies, including information processing, communications, control, and electronics. Recently many research on a system which provides contact in order to protect driver's vehicle passage have been carried out. And some potential problems from that system are being reviewed by electronic cash system. In this papers, we suggest RF protocol developing technology using the concept of electronic cash. ATM electronic cash developing is consist of component of pre-developed coin throw, integration of component using its, and production of more requirement-satisfactory ITS solution. Result increase 15~40% pre-type vehicles stagnations. Especially, we expect this proposed concept would be well adapted to our national environments.

  • 본 연구는 중앙선(덕소-원주간) 복선전철 터널공사론 기초로 한 것으로 주변 보안물건에 대한 피해가 발생되지 않도록 시험발파를 통한 발파 환경 영향권 분석을 실시하고, 그 결과를 상호 비교, 분석하여 안전하고 효율적인 공사가 수행될 수 있도록 적합한 대체 굴착공법의 적용에 대하여 연구하였다. 시험발파를 통해 제시된 대체굴착공법을 이용하여 더 안전하고 효과적인 작업을 수행한 수 있었으며, 무진동 구간은 일반적으로 2차 작업이 병행되므로 breaker 작업에 의한 진동이 지속적으로 발생되어 연구지역의 경우 적용이 사실상 어렵다고 판단됨에 따라 선대구경 수평보링 공법+라인드릴링 공법+다분할 미진동 소발파 공법을 적용함으로써 발파진동 기준치 이내의 수준으로 굴착작업이 가능하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 가상 AGV를 이용한 AGVS의 시스템 모델링과 교통제어 대해 연구하였다. 실제 AGV에 기초한 가상의 AGV의 모델을 제안하고 각각의 가상 AGV가 독립적으로 명령을 수행하도록 하였다. 또한 공장 환경을 모델링하기 위해 연속된 직선경로정보와 AGV가 작업할 작업장소를 Vector Drawing방식으로 모델링이 가능하도록 하였다. 그리고, 서로 다른 AGV가 경로 합류점에서의 충돌을 방지하면서 정지하지 않고 AGV를 통과시킬 수 있도록 합류구역의 교통제어방식과 경로가 정체될 때 이를 우회할 수 있도록 하는 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 그리고 제안된 모델과 교통제어방식에 대하여 시뮬레이션을 수행하여 유효성을 검증하였다.

A Study on The Controllability Function and Sevice Design for Disaster Damage Reduction in the IoT Environment

  • In this paper, we propose the controllability function and service design to efficiently implement the control of the disaster communication network, using Internet of Things(IoT) Technology. In accordance with the spread of Information Communication Technology(ICT), the era for building a disaster communications system without exclusion over the entire areas has emerged. National wireless mesh networks for public safety and disaster relief have been evolving to strengthen the pre-disaster response system using the latest technologies through the convergence of various technologies and services from the viewpoint of the command and control between disaster response agencies. In line with such a technological paradigm shift, the controllability of the objects in the IoT has been emerging as a key quality requirement of a disaster communications system. In this study, the objects are classified by the subject of control according to the IoT component, such as data, network resources and services in order to effectively implement their controllability. In addition, based on the destination of this controllability, technologies and services have been designed that can reduce the damage caused by disasters. Technologies and services that were derived from this study must be implemented in the current disaster safety network systems together with the establishment of an infrastructure for the networks in order that all persons are able to effectively utilize the disaster communications system for their safety.

Effect of Genotype on Whole-body and Intestinal Metabolic Response to Monensin in Mice

  • Two lines of mice, M16 selected for rapid growth and a randomly selected control ICR as well as their reciprocal crosses were used to study the effects of genotype on whole-body energetics and intestinal responses to monensin. Six mice, eight weeks of age, from each line or reciprocal cross were assigned to one of two treatments, 1) drinking water containing 20 mmol/L monensin dissolved in 0.5% V/V ethanol, and 2) drinking water containing 0.5% V/V ethanol (control) for two weeks. After 11 days (age of 9 weeks and 4 days), whole-body $O_2$ consumption was measured. At the end of two weeks, jejunal $O_2$ consumption, intestinal tissue composition and histomorphometrics as well as the rate and efficiency of glucose absorption were estimated. In comparison with the control, monensin administration in drinking water resulted in less daily water intake (13.4 vs. 15.5 ml/mouse, p<0.01), less protein to DNA ratio of jejunal mucosa (5.41 vs. 6.01 mg/mg, p<0.05), lower villus width (88 vs. $100{\mu}m$, p<0.05), and less jejunal tissue $O_2$ consumption enhancement by alcohol (7.2 vs. 10.5%, p<0.01) in mice. Other than those changes, monensin had little (p>0.05) effect on variables measured in either line of mice or their reciprocal cross. In contrast, the M16 line, selected for rapid growth, as compared to the ICR controls or the reciprocal crosses, had less initial (pre-monensin treatment) whole-body $O_2$ consumption per gram of body weight (1.68 vs. $2.11-2.34{\mu}mol/min{\cdot}g$ BW, p<0.01) as compared to the ICR and reciprocal crosses. In addition, the M16 mice exhibited greater growth (412 vs. 137-210 mg/d, p<0.05), better feed efficiency (41.7 vs. 19.9-29.3 mg gain/g feed, p<0.05), shorter small intestines adjusted for fasted body weight (1.00 vs. 1.22-1.44 cm/g FBW, p<0.05), wider villi (109 vs. $87-93{\mu}m$, p<0.05), more mature height of enterocytes (28.8 vs. $24.4-25.1{\mu}m$, p<0.05) and a lower rate (91 vs. $133-145{\eta}mol\;glucose/min{\cdot}g$ jejunum, p<0.05) and less energetic efficiency (95 vs. $59-72{\eta}mol$ ATP expended/${\eta}mol$ glucose uptake, p<0.05) of glucose absorption compared to the ICR line and the reciprocal cross. Monensin had little (p>0.05) effect on whole-body $O_2$ consumption and jejunal function, whilst selection for rapid growth resulted in an apparent down-regulation of intestinal function. These data suggest that genetic selection for increased growth does not result in concomitant changes in intestinal function. This asynchrony in the selection for production traits and intestinal function may hinder full phenotypic expression of genotypic growth potential.

실시간 이미지 처리 방법을 이용한 개선된 차선 인식 경로 추종 알고리즘 개발 (Development of an Improved Geometric Path Tracking Algorithm with Real Time Image Processing Methods)

  • In this study, improved path tracking control algorithm based on pure pursuit algorithm is newly proposed by using improved lane detection algorithm through real time post-processing with interpolation methodology. Since the original pure pursuit works well only at speeds below 20 km/h, the look-ahead distance is implemented as a sigmoid function to work well at an average speed of 45 km/h to improve tracking performance. In addition, a smoothing filter was added to reduce the steering angle vibration of the original algorithm, and the stability of the steering angle was improved. The post-processing algorithm presented has implemented more robust lane recognition system using real-time pre/post processing method with deep learning and estimated interpolation. Real time processing is more cost-effective than the method using lots of computing resources and building abundant datasets for improving the performance of deep learning networks. Therefore, this paper also presents improved lane detection performance by using the final results with naive computer vision codes and pre/post processing. Firstly, the pre-processing was newly designed for real-time processing and robust recognition performance of augmentation. Secondly, the post-processing was designed to detect lanes by receiving the segmentation results based on the estimated interpolation in consideration of the properties of the continuous lanes. Consequently, experimental results by utilizing driving guidance line information from processing parts show that the improved lane detection algorithm is effective to minimize the lateral offset error in the diverse maneuvering roads.

  • Dially disulfide (DADS), a component of garlic (Allium sativum), has been known to exert potent chemopreventive activity against various cancers. In this study, the synergistic effect of DADS and daunorubicin on the cytotoxicity of HL-60 cells, a human leukemia cell line, was investigated. DADS at 25 M greatly potentiated daunorubicin-induced cell death, decreasing cell viabilityto50%ofthe control. Daunorubicin-induced apoptosis was accompanied by the activation of caspase-3, the degradation of poly-(ADP-ribose) polymerase (PARP) and D4-GDI, and DNA fragmentation, which were blocked by pre-treatment with acetyl-Asp-Glu-Val-Asp- dialdehyde (Ac-DEVD-CHO). Treatment that combined 25 M DADS and 100 nM daunorubicin caused a similar degree of caspase-3 activation, PARP and D4-GDI degradation, and DNA fragmentation to that caused by treatment with 250 nM daunorubicin alone. These results indicate that combined therapy using daunorubicin with DADS, a component of food, and garlic can effectively decrease the therapeutic dose of daunorubicin, preventing the severe side effects of daunorubicin.

  • 본 논문은 Ku-Band 선형화 채널증폭기를 위한 비행 모델의 설계 및 측정에 관한 것이다. 모든 MMICs, 가변이득증폭기, 가변전압감쇄기, 전치왜곡 보상회로를 위한 브랜치 라인 결합기와 검출기는 Thin-Film Hybrid 작업으로 제작되었다. 제작된 모듈의 성능은 초고주파 회로분석 시뮬레이션 틀과 우주환경에서의 전기적인 성능 시험을 통하여 검증하였다.
