Purpose: Practical training in pediatric nursing gives students the opportunity to apply nursing knowledge to children in a realistic clinical context. Clinical practice faculty (CPF) and clinical nursing instructor (CNI) have played important roles in the pediatric nursing practicum. This study was conducted to develop a protocol to guide clinical practicum in pediatric nursing. Methods: A service design methodology was employed between August 2020 and May 2021 at four universities and four hospitals in South Korea. The participants were five CPFs, five CNIs, five nursing college graduates, and 60 nursing students. The service design process had four phases: discovery, definition, development, and delivery. Data were collected through self-report questionnaires, in-depth interviews, and observations. The data were analyzed using content analysis and descriptive statistics. Results: The participants reported needs for providing concrete guidance and explanation, nursing practice experience, and a link between school and the clinical field. A protocol was developed to fulfill the participants' needs. The protocol comprised detailed information, teaching methodology, and partnership to guide students in the pediatric nursing practicum. Conclusion: The protocol developed in this study can be used to provide guidance for students' clinical practice in the field of pediatric nursing.

This article reviews the experience of applying the Identification, Diagnosis, Prospective, and Action (IDPA) facilitating method as a means of promoting practices of dialogue between stakeholders in the radiological protection field. After presenting the characteristics of the IDPA method and its ability to promote active listening, participation, and dialogue among stakeholders facing complex situations, as well as the procedural aspects associated with its practical implementation, the article describes three examples of the application of the method in the field of radiological protection. The first one presents how the IDPA method supported a debate among decision-makers, authorities, experts, professionals, and representatives of non-governmental organizations about how to engage stakeholders in radiological protection. The second example presents how the IDPA method was used in a series of dialogue meetings to explore the challenges of the post-nuclear accident situation resulting from the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant accident. The third one presents the application of the method in the context of a training course organized by Nagasaki University in the affected area close to the damaged plant. Experience has shown that the IDPA method makes it possible to develop responses to problems posed in very different contexts and, in many cases, to find compromises regarding their solutions. The IDPA method has the merit of allowing each of the participants to better understand the situation they are faced with, even if such a positive result is not always achieved.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the habitat of Luciola unmunsana to understand the status of land snails, which are the larvae prey, and to evaluate the effects of larval feeding preferences and prey size for the restoration of the L. unmunsana habitat as a basis for future restoration projects. The research methods included field surveys of the habitat and laboratory experiments on feeding preferences using three types of land snails (Allopeas clavulinum kyotoense, Euphaedusa fusaniana, Pupinella rufa) observed in the habitat. Field surveys of 13 L. unmunsana habitat sites revealed a total of 24 land snail species. The experimental results regarding the larvae prey were analyzed for statistical significance of feeding preferences using Chi-square tests and independent sample t-tests. Consequently, larvae showed the highest preference for A. c. kyotoense, with statistically significant differences in feeding preferences (p<0.05). Also, statistically significant differences were observed in the size between the land snails that were eaten as prey and those that were not eaten. This research can deepen the understanding of the feeding preferences of L. unmunsana larvae and provide practical guidelines for the effective conservation and restoration strategies of the firefly habitat.
This study was conducted to obtain basic data for reinforcing and developing course programs in department of Food Science and Nutrition. For this purpose, data was collected from dietitians and professors who work at 2-and 4-year colleges. Results are as follows. 1. Many respondents (95.7%) support that It Is desirable to separate dietitian license into two types. Reasons are (1) specific knowledge required by job type is different(29.5%), and (2) to increse job performance (29.3%). 2. Most respondents(95.4%) agree that course programs are needed to be revised. Because (1) current programs are inadequate to provide specific knowledge required at field work (67.8%), and (2) the programs are not helpful to increase job performance of dietitians (54.1%). 3. Respondents of dietitians want to extend applied science area(37.7%) and reinforce lab training (63.1%), as principles of program revision. 4. Course titles which need to be reinforced are Internship(95.8%) and Lap training(67.8%). 5. Specialized areas which need to be reinforced are Food Service Managemant and Practical Training(90.9%), Nutrition Education and Guide(88.9%), Public Health Nutrition(79.0%), Basic Area for Clinics(85.6%), Basic area for Education and Counselling(87.1%), and Cooking Science(77.5%) 6. Courses which are needed to be reinforced by respondents(over 75% agree) are Computer Management for Food Service, Counselling, Nutrition and Disease, Diet Therapy, Quantity Cooking, Internship, Public Health (Health Care), Community Nutrition(Environment and Nutrition), Clinical Nutrition, Psychology, and Communication.

Introduction: The importance of clinical skills training in traditional Korean medicine education is increasingly emphasized. Since the clinical skills tests are high-stakes tests that determine success in national licensing exams, it is essential to develop reliable multifaceted analysis methods for clinical skills tests in actual education settings. In this study, we applied the multifaceted validity evaluation methods to the evaluation results of the cardiopulmonary resuscitation module to confirm the applicability and effectiveness of the methods. Methods: In this study, we used internal consistency, factor analysis, generalizability theory G-study and D-study, ANOVA, Kendall's tau, descriptive statistics, and other statistical methods to analyze the multidimensional validity of a cardiopulmonary resuscitation test in clinical education settings over the past three years. Results: The factor analysis and internal consistency analysis showed that the evaluation rubric had an unstable structure and low concordance. The G-study showed that the error of the clinical skills assessment was large due to the evaluator and unexpected errors. The D-study showed that the variance error of the evaluator should be significantly reduced to validate the evaluation. The ANOVA and Kendall's tau confirmed that evaluator heterogeneity was a problem. Discussion and Conclusion: Clinical skills tests should be continuously evaluated and managed for validity in two steps of pre-production and actual implementation. This study has presented specific methods for analyzing the validity of clinical skills training and testing in actual education settings. This study would contribute to the foundation for competency-based evidence-based education in practical clinical training.

This study had been analysed the establishment, the closing and the actual conditions of the fisheries school according to the four times revision and promulgation of the law of education of korea which were devided by the early term (the first Chosun educational decree), the middle term (the second Chosun educational decree) and the last term (the third and fourth Chosun educational decree), and also been investigated how the fisheries education of the school had been acted to the mobocracy and the assimilation policy and together with it's back ground through this analysis. The aim of this study is to contribute to the study of the history of the fisheries school education, analysis of change of the fisheries school education according to practical application of the Chosun educational decree. The summary of the characteristic of the each term are as under. First, in the early term of the fisheries education under the first Chosun educational decree, Experts were despatched to the each province with donated money from emperor and opened seasonal the fishing training centre, a kind of social fisheries education, and trained directly fishing technic and were going to train fisheries trainees regularly under name of elementary fisheries school. Japanese imperialism attached great importance to the vocational education in order to snack economical products from colonized Korea but actually had a purpose to train low quality technician who follow blindly their colony policy of Japanese imperialism. The fisheries schools in the circle of system in early time of Japanese imperialism, Kunsan public elementary fisheries school was established in April 1915, Yosu public elementary fisheries school was established ill May 1917 and Kyungnam Tongyoung training school was established in March 1917. Secondly, After 3.1 movement, the Japanese imperialism established an appeasement policy so called cultural politics and continued assimilation policy with skilful methods. After revision of the second Chosun educational decree, the Elementary vocational school was changed as the vocational training school. The school of fisheries education in middle of Japanese imperialism trained low quality technicians to snack fisheries resources from colonized Korea. After the middle of Japanese imperialism they paid attention on training fisheries technician through fisheries school rather than training school. With high interest and crowded volunteers, Kunsan public fisheries school was promoted in 1922, Tongyoung public fisheries school was promoted in 1923, Yongampo fisheries training school established in 1922 was promoted as Yongampo public fisheries school in 1926. Thirdly, in the time of the third and fourth Chosun educational decree, the end of Japanese imperialism, they met Pacific war after Japan vs China war. During the war time they considered the vocational school as the source of supply for materials and manpower and consequently had to expanded vocational education and systematically despatched students to war field and practiced military training. In 1938, Namhae public fisheries school was established and Chungjin fisheries school was permitted. But in order to supply manpower to Pacific war, the study period of Yosu public fisheries school was shorten from 5 years to 4 year in 1943 and also that of Tongyoung public fisheries school shorten in 1944.
The curriculum in the vocational training shall be planed and operated on a basis what is the occupational category that the students can be employed after their graduation and the ability necessary to the engagement in their occupations. Accordingly, the course selecting the quality of education in the curriculum plan for the vocational training shall be developed continuously and gradually through the maintenance of dose relation by the participation of the persons in the industries related to the major field. If the curriculum in the vocational training is for the preparation of employment, the focus of curriculum shall be adjusted to the employment. It needs to collect and analyze the related data between the universities and industries, particularly regional industries synthetically in order to develop the curriculum in the vocational training. The curriculum shall be planned on a basis of the data. As for the data related to the local community, it needs to develop new programs considering the prospect of demand of manpower by the industry, necessary knowledge, technology and attitudes, particularly considering the occupational category available in the employment with a bright prospect hereafter. Also, the contents to improve in the existing curriculum(a change of technology, a form of facilities for experimentㆍpractice, and a type of continuing & further education) shall be investigated and analyzed objectively. Accordingly, this study is to develop the curriculum more systematically in order to foster the character designer specially who to engage in the character industry that increases its role and expectation all the more with the development of animation industries and the extension of markets now. The purpose of this study is to decrease the estrangement between the school education that has been problems and the practical affairs in the field, to foster the special manpower that can satisfy the industries demand.

The purpose of this study is to verify the correlations between the amount of the online searcher's search experience and their search effect. In order to achieve this purpose, the 28 online searchers working at the chosen libraries and information centers have participated in the study as subjects. The subjects have been classified into the two types of cognitive style by Group Embedded Figure Test. As the result of the GEFT, two groups have been identified: the 15 Field Independance ( FI ) searchers and the 13 Field Dependance ( FD ) searchers. The subject's search experience consists of the 3 elements: disciplinary, training, and working experience. In order to get the data of these empirical elements, a questionnaire have been sent to the 28 subjects. An online searching request form prepared by a practical user was sent to all subjects, who conducted searches of the oversea databases through Dialog to retrieve what was requested. The resultant outcomes were collected and sent back to the user to evaluate relevance and pertinence of the search effect by the individual. In this study, the search effect has been divide into relevance and pertinence. The relevance has been then subdivided into the 3 elements : the number of the relevant documents, recall ratio, and the cost per a relevant document. The relevance has been subdivided into the 3 elements: the number of the pertinent documents, utility ratio, and the cost per a pertinent document. The correlations between the 3 elements of the subject's experience and the 6 elements of the search effect has been analysed in the FI and in the FD searchers separately. At the standard of the 0.01 significance level, findings and conclusions made in the study are summarised as follows : 1. There are strong correlations between the amount of training and the recall ratio, the number of the pertinent documents, and the utility ratio on the part of FI searchers. 2. There are strong correlations between the amount of working experience and the number of the relevant documents, the recall ratio on the part of FD searchers. However, there is also a significant converse correlation between the amount of working experience and the search cost per a pertinent document on the part of FD searchers. 3. The amount of working experience has stronger correlations with the number of the pertinent documents and the utility ratio on the part of FD searchers than the amount of training. 4. There is a strong correlation between the amount of training and the pertinence on both part of FI and FD searchers.

A Records manager and archivist should have the academic knowledge and working ability due to the working character. Archives and records centers are being changed with developing information technology so that they are requiring a records manager and archivist to have a professional working ability through a variety of practice. However, in recent, the curriculum of Korean archival graduate schools focuses on a theoretical field and neglects to apply a theory to a working field. Therefore, in this paper, the writer compares some elements to improve the working ability shown in the curriculum of Korean and American archival graduate programs, and suggests the method to cultivate a theoretical knowledge as well as working ability. The cultivating ways the writer suggests are as follows: To improve the working ability in a practical field of the curriculum of archival graduate school in Korea, the writer suggests -- 1. increasing the grades of major field and college courses, and changing the practice subject to an obligatory subject, and 2. developing an internship program for a full practice with company, government, and college, and 3. operating a continuous training program that an records manager engaging in records center and archives can acquire a new knowledge and technology and apply the professionalism to a working field.
This paper is aimed to introduce the practical case about the operation system consisted of academic curriculum and portal system for the IPP implementation. After benchmarking the preceding universities system, the academic program is renewed for our student's participation without difficulty with semi-quater semester system. The portal system is designed to focus on the studentindustry matching and the adaptation to disparate databases of the university. The IPP operation system have been constructed to fulfill the 1st-year-plan as a participating university in 4th period support of Korean government. The first year project performance with constructed system indicated that in many categories of the survey conducted by the IPP management institution, the satisfaction level in that system exceeded the average value of the IPP participating universities nationwide. The improvement direction was set after analyzing the results of the survey.
