도심지 토사재해 방어기술 테스트베드 구축 및 모니터링 연구 (Construction and Monitoring of Test bed in Urban Sediment Disaster Prevention Technology)

  • In this study, sediment transfer and precipitation analysis of the test bed watershed was conducted through the model for the application and practical use of the urban sediment disaster prevention technology, and used this as an aid to design to secure reliability. In addition, conducted the test bed monitoring with the defense technology, analyzed the effect, and established the maintenance plan. Analyzed the change of soil deposition volume through arbitrary slope adjustment for the currently installed stormwater conduit of the test bed watershed. As a result, it is important to reduce the total sedimentation amount in the adjustment of the slope of the entire pipeline, but it is important that the sedimentation depth of each sediment does not rise to such a degree as to threaten the performance of the pipeline. Considering these matters, it is necessary to design the pipeline to prevent the clogging of the soil from the viewpoint of the reliability of the entire pipeline. The sediment disaster defense technology test bed is divided into a new city and an old city, and old city test bed is under construction. The result obtained through the monitoring of the test bed in the new city, sediment disasters such as debris can delay the time to reach the downtown area, and it is possible to secure the golden time, such as evacuation and rescue through the warning system. Also, the maintenance of the test bed application was suggested. Continuous and systematic monitoring is required for securing the reliability of element technology and successful commercialization.

교육용 한국어 TTS 플랫폼 개발 (A Korean TTS System for Educational Purpose)

  • Recently, there has been considerable progress in the natural language processing and digital signal processing components and this progress has led to the improved synthetic speech qualify of many commercial TTS systems. But there still remain many obstacles to overcome for the practical application of TTS. To resolve the problems, the cooperative research among the related areas is highly required and a common Korean TTS platform is essential to promote these activities. This platform offers a general framework for building Korean speech synthesis systems and a full C/C++ source for modules supports to implement and test his own algorithm. In this paper we described the aspect of a Korean TTS platform to be developed and a developing plan.

  • This paper proposes a method for choosing the best transmission system expansion(TEP) plan considering an annual outage cost and a probabilistic transmission system reliability criterion ($_RLOLE_{TS}$). The objective method minimizes a total cost which are an investment budget for constructing new transmission lines and an annual outage cost, subject to the probabilistic transmission system reliability criterion, which consider the uncertainties of power system facilities. Test results on an existing 21-bus system are included in the paper. It demonstrated the suitability of the proposed method for solving the transmission system expansion planning problem subject to practical future uncertainties.

옻칠가구 디자인 개발을 위한 감성공학적 연구 (A Study to Sensibility Technology for the Development of the Traditional Lacquered Furniture Design)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the preference of traditional lacquered furniture and to suggest furniture design guideline. Subjects consisted of 336 residents aged up 20 years old in Seoul and Kyung-ki. area. The data were analyzed using the SPSS statistical package. The results of descriptive statistics, factor analysis, t-test and ANOVA are presented. The result of this study showed that the traditional and environmental values of the traditional lacquered furniture were highly appraised. With a furniture plan, modernized and stylelike design was desired and the table type furniture were wanted. And preference of traditional lacquered furniture was distinct by sex and age groups. Women and older age group wanted more decorative and luxury design than other groups. These results provide a practical guideline for the development of the traditional lacquered furniture design for users.

  • This paper proposes a method for choosing the best composite power system expansion plan considering a contingency security criterion. The proposed method minimizes the investment budget fer constructing new transmission lines subject to contingency criterion. it models the power system expansion problem as an integer programming one. The method solves for the optimal strategy using a branch and bound method that utilizes a network flow approach and the maximum flow-minimum cut set theorem. Although the proposed method is applied to a simple sample study, the test results demonstrate that the proposed method is suitable for solving the power system expansion-planning problem subject to practical future uncertainties.

  • In the domestic atmosphere environment, the VOCs and the NOx have a large proportion of the pollutant, and the HCHO is the main environmental pollutant factor within the house. In this study, the inorganic paint which can absorb and remove VOCs, NOx and HCHO is developed by using day-titania carrier. The basic data to develope eco-friendly inorganic paint is collected with the performance test to remove the VOCs, NOx and HCHO in the condition of the addition of several inorganic materials to the paint, and also the plan to practical use of eco-friendly inorganic paint is studied.

Urban Land Use Planning with a PSS-based Land Use Change Projection Model

  • Planning Support System (PSS), an alternative framework of computer-aided planning system combining geographic information system (GIS), urban models, and visualization tools, has been actively researched and applied in many developed countries. This paper introduces a PSS-based land use change model, What if\ulcorner PSS, by applying it to Chongju City, Korea. This model application study used the spatial database, Restricted Development Zone (RDZ), and other hypothetical land supply- and demand-related policies of Chongju City. The collaborative PSS model supported land use planning process by helping users to speedily and easily create and test policy-oriented scenarios. The study found that the fully operational PSS model was readily applicable and useful to Korean local land use planning. The paper discusses the conceptual model framework, data requirement, application process, model output, and practical usage. This study would be considered as a prototypical approach of PSS-based land use plan making for Korean cities.

지역에 따른 의료이용의 차이 분석 (An Analysis Of The Differences In Medical Use By Region)

  • Purposes: This study has the purpose to the improvement of health promotion for local residents through delivery of high-quality medical service by improving imbalance of medical use and seeking an improvement plan for accessibility of effective medical service by understanding the pattern of medical use by region. Methodology: As for the method, this study derived results at the significance level of p<0.05 through chi square test(χ2 test) and Generalized Estimating Equation(GEE) SAS 9.4 version by using the data of the 7th Korean Longitudinal Study of Ageing 2018. Findings: Study results show that local residents use medical service such as hospitalization care and outpatient visit more as compared to the residents in Gyeonggi-do/large or medium-sized cities. The more the number of chronic disease, the more they select hospitalization care rather than outpatient visit. Results also show that patients engaged in labour tend to select outpatient treatment rather than hospitalization treatment. Meanwhile, severity of disease turned out to be higher amongst medical care beneficiaries than that of national health insurance patients when comparing the types of medical security. Practical Implications: In stead of solving the problem of the difference in medical use by region from the aspect of income and economic level, an integrative solution shall be provided putting viewpoint on the social phenomenon suited to the changes of the times. This study suggests a plan for using a health and medical community care center that acts as a gate keeper of regional medical service.

대학 연계전공에 대한 교육요구 우선순위 탐색 (Search for the Priority of Educational Needs for Interdisciplinary Programs at University)

  • 대부분의 대학에서 4차산업혁명시대의 융합형 인재양성을 위해 연계전공, 융합전공 등 다학제적 접근을 통한 교육혁신을 시도하고 있다. 본 연구는 연계전공을 이수하는 학생들의 교육요구의 우선순위를 파악하여 연계전공의 효과적인 운영방안을 모색하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 연계전공에 참여한 학생들을 대상으로 포커스 그룹 인터뷰를 실시하여 연계전공 활성화를 위해 필요한 대학 차원의 지원을 탐색하였고, 온라인 조사를 통해 t-test, Borich의 요구도, The Locus for Focus Model을 적용하여 최종 우선순위를 도출하였다. 분석결과 '전담조직 설치 및 운영', '전용 강의실 및 실습실'이 최우선으로 고려해야 할 요인으로 도출되었고, '커리큘럼 특성화', '연계전공 장학금 지원', '연계전공 홍보', '전담조교 배정'이 차우선 고려요인으로 도출되었다. 이러한 연구결과를 바탕으로 대학 연계전공의 교육요구 우선순위에 대한 활성화 방안과 시사점을 제안하였다.
