By providing a number of unprecedented knowledge sources, virtual communities have stimulated interests in knowledge sourcing Specifically, virtual communities have triggered fundamental changes in the ways that people interact with one another. Thus, there is a critical need to examine how people try to behave for sourcing knowledge in virtual communities, particularly in terms of the demand-side perspective of knowledge. To address the knowledge gap regarding knowledge sourcing behavior from the knowledge recipients' side, this study draws upon GPA(goal-plan-action) theory with both the social cognitive theory and the goal-setting theory as overarching theories. Furthermore, we apply past experience in virtual communities and trust in knowledge providers as moderating variables to deeply understand the knowledge recipients' behavior. We expect to present theoretical and practical implications through our findings, which are relevant to cognitive goal-setting and knowledge sourcing behavior. In the theoretical perspective, this study illustrates how knowledge recipients determine knowledge sourcing behavior. Based on our findings, this study has practical implications for virtual communities to effectively balance knowledge repositories and knowledge management systems with knowledge providers and recipients.

The purpose if the study is to apply GIS technique to sample area, Choensoo-Bay basin for an efficient and practical coastal zone management if pollution control. The basins, Unit if pollution control, are selected with qualitative analysis using DEM after considered river length, degree and area of basin through channel network analysis. Choensoo-Bay basin is divided with 6 zones to 33 subordinate zones. It is found to be a big difference of pollutant loads in each zone. The pollutant loads use to review for efficient zoning. And also the result apply to measurement of water quality and building for environmental infrastructure.

The purpose of this study is to discuss the theoretical and practical strategies for the quality management of a union database built in a distributed system. To the end, this study introduces the quality control methods employed for the OCLC union catalog, which has been built in a distributed system and also known as the most typical union DB. The main discussion is about the quality issue of KORDIC's SATURN DB, the most typical union DB in South Korea. The final recommendation includes the management strategies and practical guidelines for the efficient quality control of a union DB built in a distributed system.

This research is intended to understand and make practical suggestions on various aspects of the railroad traffic controllers focusing on railroad control of the railroad safety management system's technical standards. The method of analysis is using the causal loop diagram, which is the soft method of System Dynamics. Content of analysis is about the system. 11.7 of the work of the railroad control system. In addition, we compared and analyzed railroad controllers by four railroad operators, suggesting the importance of railroad control and future practical improvement plans.

Because of the development of advanced construction technology, the inner environments of building become more and more complicated, which may result in many problems. The administer may forget where they put up the certain picture, and search for it all over the building, or they underestimate the number of the visitors, and find the situation is out of control, while the pedestrian may get lost, and after making their efforts, they found they turned back to the origin point again. So it is very necessary to establish an indoor spatial database. On one hand, it is able to assist administrator to manage the property and human flow inside the building, on the other hand it could help the pedestrian find the way easily especially when they are not familiar with the building or there is an emergency. This paper focused on how to create the indoor spatial database including both static database and moving objects database. The static database is built on the basis of 3D building models, and the moving objects database gets information from many kinds of cameras and sensors installed in the building. And at the same time the paper discussed the practical use of indoor spatial database mainly in three aspects including consistency management, building restructure, and pedestrian navigation.

Purpose: Within the ever-changing realm of modern e-commerce, this study delves into the complex effects of factors like performance expectations, ease of use, social influence, favorable conditions, and enjoyment perception on users' intentions and usage patterns in online marketplace apps. The research centres on Tokopedia app users in Denpasar City, encompassing a wide and varied demographic. Methods: Utilizing a non-probability sampling method, 200 participants were selected for extensive data collection through surveys. Subsequent rigorous analysis of the gathered data was performed using Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) techniques. Results: This study aims to contribute substantially to theoretical and practical knowledge regarding marketplace app usage. Theoretical contributions involve enhancing the marketing domain, especially in digital marketing, by revealing the intricate factors influencing user conduct in online marketplaces. From a practical standpoint, this research provides valuable insights for entrepreneurs aspiring to join or improve their positions in the Tokopedia app market. Conclusion: Based on the study, we suggest optimising online shopping apps for a more appealing and user-friendly interface. Enhancing the enjoyment and simplicity of finding desired products can prompt heightened usage of online shopping services, thereby reinforcing distribution management strategies and overall market presence.

ChatGPT, a leading example of generative AI, is expanding the use of its LLM (Large Language Model) from traditional academic fields such as literature and creative writing to practical areas like management, tourism, and media. This study was conducted with active seniors to analyze their perceptions of travel and tourism, identifying key areas of interest and specific details. ChatGPT was utilized as an analytical tool in major areas of the study, providing suggestions for key findings.The research findings are as follows: First, terms closely associated with active senior travel include retirement, together, service, consumption, leisure, health, life, hobby, culture, generation, platform, wellness, and program. Second, centrality analysis showed that words like service, leisure, and together had high degrees of centrality and closeness centrality, while terms such as health, domestic, culture, activity, program, and life had high closeness centrality. Third, based on the CONCOR analysis with suggestions from ChatGPT, two clusters were identified: 'Retirement and Lifestyle' and 'Senior Services and Platforms'. Based on the research findings, practical implications for active senior travel were identified, along with academic implications for the field of tourism studies.

Recently, the demand for building demolition in Korea has been increasing due to the rising number of old buildings and diversification of the types of buildings subject to construction demolition, and the related market size has been continuously growing. On the other hand, the laws, systems, and safety management related to building demolition are not implemented vigorously enough, so safety accidents frequently occur during the demolition process. In this study, we introduce the case of the collapse of a demolition building in Gwangju Metropolitan City in 2021, and we analyze the cause of the safety accident with the survey report published by the Korean government. Also, this study consists of institutional aspects of the demolition construction process in Korea and practical aspects such as sub-contracts, which are two main problems. Although Korean construction-related laws prohibit re-subcontracting in principle, illegal re-subcontracting is prevalent in building demolition and the supervision of building demolition is poor. Also, the dismantling plan does not function effectively as a practical checklist at the construction site due to complicated procedures and many requirements. In conclusion, for building demolition to be carried out more safely and efficiently, it is needed to reasonably improve related practices and systems in Korea.

As the importance of national technical qualifications for hairdressers to verify qualifications and skills as a professional is increasing, it is time to improve achievement motivation and job attitudes through research on job attitudes perceived by hair designers toward hair practical tasks. As a result of studying the effect on the job attitude of a hairstylist working in a hair salon, it was found that blow-drying induced the hairstylist's job efficacy among the practical tasks for the hairdresser's hair national technology certification, and scalp scaling and shampoo were the job of the hairstylist. was found to induce satisfaction. Based on the research results, it is possible to present a variety of practical certification tasks with practicality that can be usefully applied to customers in various techniques in the beauty industry, rather than unrealistic practical techniques limited only to wigs. We want to induce improvement. In addition, I believe that this study will provide basic data for the development of various practical tasks to improve the achievement motivation of hair designers.

This paper describes the development of a scale for measuring top management commitment towards continual quality performance improvement in small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). A set of self-assessment questions of the ISO 9004: 2000 Standard was used to assess the adoption status of quality management practices. This paper investigates the inter-item reliability and the content validity of the Quality Management Principles Scale (QMPS) in an integrated improvement process in SMEs. An empirical study was conducted to acquire senior management views on the use of the QMPS in manufacturing sectors in Trinidad and Tobago. Based on 328 responses from 110 SMEs, statistical software packages were used to analyse the empirical data and determine the reliability and validity of the QMPS. The paper contributes to develop a self-assessment scale that can be used to measure top management commitment. It is anticipated that the findings would provide practical insights for evaluating the levels of maturity on performance improvement in SMEs.
