In this paper, we try to criticize a bias that liberal arts are not practical. First, I introduce holistic models of knowledge and constructivism in education. Second, I suggest 'linguistic turn' as another noticeable phenomenon. Language is an element of culture, but a priviledged one because culture, in itself, is linguistic. So culture is a sort of a text. We can see that liberal arts or humanities to deal with texts, contexts and languages can have an important role to read, understand and construct a world. So the rediscovery of the traditional model of the education of liberal arts like processes of graduating studies of liberal arts or humanities, is relevant to a new 'practical' model of reading and leading recent social transformations. An important point is academic contribution. And current situation called 'Knowledge-Based Society' also supports my point in another way. The situation of rapidly changing knowledge requires an education of problem-solving ability by unifying and reconstructing knowledge supporting with constructivism in education rather than the cramming system of education.

As the dark side of society, Idle spaces, which occurred with the paradigm change due to rapid modernization and industralization, has been existing as a severed part in cities. But with the periodic change, interest in the existing place and regional regeneration, and the necessity of reconsidering about the idle spaces values of space, city environment, socio-culture, and economy was proposed. I estimated that the change of relational aesthetics aspect of modern arts resulted in the consideration of recognizing 'place' of art, through the study, it was revealed that the form of modern arts and change of enjoyment were related to space, and the fact that this had a relation with the rise of artistic regeneration of idle spaces. mutually communicative relationship formation and practical form of arts was deducted through the interpretation of relational aesthetics, Idle spaces and artistic regeneration space can be categorized into forms of experiential space, creative space, and cultural space, depending on the formation of relationship between author-art-audience. Through the comprehensive analysis, Artistic regeneration space by relationship formation is Vitalization of various forms of art and participation program eliminates the boundary between creation and enjoyment, and the space itself can be said to contain extensive, integral, and nonterritorialization meaning as a place of experiencing art. In other words, Artistic regeneration space of idle spaces forms a close relationship with the local society, and is placed within the context of daily domain as an open space, straying off from the existing separative and closed artistic space configuration. and artistic changeover of idle spaces is not only the appearance of space that simply fulfills function according to transfiguration of modern art, but signifies that art is coexisting with space as an indivisible relationship, and can be said to be the foothold of new relationship creation as the practical 'place' of art.

Today, sports are becoming increasingly important for national development, with all countries raising the strategic goal of becoming a sports powerhouse. Among them, martial arts, which are active in China as the main stage among East Asian martial arts, have a long history and are meaningful, and the promotion of internationalization of martial arts is also important. In this study, major problems faced in the process of promoting martial arts internationalization in East Asia were analyzed in depth. Currently, the theoretical system of martial arts is inconsistent and insufficient, there is a big difference in cultural background from region to region, there is a lack of talent for internationalization, and innovative promotion methods are not yet mature. Based on the major problems encountered in the internationalization of each martial arts, we will analyze the internationalization strategy, establish a martial arts theory system, accept the diversity of martial arts culture, and supplement the internationalization talent supply mechanism to propose a martial arts internationalization promotion method. The future succession and development of Chinese martial arts on the global stage and the promotion of internationalization of the value of Chinese martial arts have important theoretical values and practical significance.

This study tried to analyze the effects of culture and arts activities as educational method in the classroom. Compared with other activities, the culture and arts activity enables learners to have unique aesthetic experience differentiated from scientific and logical experience. This study analyzed the effects largely into three aspects (intellectual, emotional, and practical aspects) in case learners have such aesthetic experience in the field of education. Through this, the study will become an opportunity to propose practical data concerning the educational effects of the culture and arts activity, and further to confirm the possibility and necessity of utilizing such activity as an education method.

Arts is the expression of reasoning and conscious life of human and arouse human the concept of existence, utmost emotion and excellent thoughts. Also it makes humans life very abundant. I make it come first to get rid of the art thirst on the opposite sight of technical one for hair as on part of humans body. Next purpose is that to confirm the esthetic value of 'hair arts' by solidify the academic ground of beauty arts through creating 'hair arts' works and learning and make the direction for the beauty industry and education of the next generation. In this study I investigated the Greek myth and the hair styles of ancient Greek Goddesses. On the basis of that symbols I elaborated hair formative works made of metal and studied, analyzed and displayed that. Work No.1 'aphne' pictures the second of changing into a laurel tree avoiding the love. Secondly 'Muse Erato' was exhibited the peaceful figure that have enough the fine melodies. 'Leda' brings out the feature of Leda resembling a swan and the fourth piece, 'Eos' conveys the brilliant and mystery of dawn. So this study conducted based on the concept of practical hair and have made efforts to be close to theoretical manufacturing research needed at making hair arts works and academic one needed at organic design composition for pioneering new field, 'art hair.' I hope these 'hair arts' works make creativity of the practise hair alive. It will be very thankful to me if this study can help even though slightly for splendid beauty arts to make its status firm as a one part of arts, and there are following studies.

This study is a discussion about specific directions and strategies for development of subsequent curriculum of practical arts(technology ome economics) based on two issues ; developing curriculum which is 'connecting elementary-secondary course' and 'based on key competence'. Specific Study is as in the following. First, in the aspect of home economics, this study explored the meaning of connection between elementary-secondary courses, and in the process of curriculum development, we explored implicit problems through strategies that come out from elementary-secondary courses. Second, we search what the key competence is in terms of home economics, and the meaning of developing curriculum based on the key competence. For this, we examine the meaning of development of subject matters curriculum based on key competence and the conditions and tasks for developing curriculum for home economics based on key competence. Third, on the basis of discussion we explore the way to realize these two issues, already mentioned, into development of subsequent curriculum for home economics. For this, this study examines the academic interaction between home economics of elementary and secondary courses unifying the names of the subject, systematic understanding about development of curriculum based on key competence, finding strategies for appealing the subject, and practical instances. Through this study, we expect more active interaction between home economics from elementary and secondary courses and academic discussion for development of curriculum.

Philosophical and social backgrounds and inquiring into new direction of Practical Arts and Home Economics Education is done through this paper. The overall review of the related documents, records, books has been done, and research findings are presented as follows; Thought(Educational theory and Philosophy) for Korean Practical Arts Education is based on Learning to Labor, Practical Science and Pragmatism. Korean curriculum for Home Economics were originated in Confucianism background, which stressed the importance of different gender roles for men and women. However, Korean Home Economics based on Home Economics Subject Matter has been developed without philosophical base unlike that of American Pragmatism and Critical Theory. Therefore, scientific recognition in a section of value recognition was separated and developed so far. Thus, we could not answer to social missions about keeping values of life corresponding with changing environment I also observed the analysis of revision curriculum of the mentioned subject, and the changes of concepts of Work and Prasix, necessity of Home Economics Education for fixing about a basic life education and a basic life skill, and reinforcement of the function in Home. And then, new directions is proposed that the role of Home Economics Education in school be reinforced for the upcoming low birth rate and the aging society(high proportion of the aged people). Because Characters on correct values of children and youths might be nurtured in home foremost.

This study examined the research trends of sustainable development education in the family life area, focusing on papers published in journals specialized in the Practical Arts (Technology & Home Economics) subject from 1989 to 2018. The papers from three journals were selected based on the titles, abstracts, and keywords for their contents related to sustainable development education. The results were analyzed by frequency analysis and cross-tabulation. Sustainable development education has surged since the mid-2000s when national interest on this topic sharply increased. Rather than focusing on particular content areas in home economics, most research was conducted through an integrated approach. More than half of the studies were conducted in experimental studies, with the largest number of studies involving elementary school students. Of the three components of ESD, research on society was most frequently conducted, followed by the environmental area. The contents of the home economics curriculum and the details of sustainable development were related. More related research should be conducted so that various sustainable development education can improve students' practical problem-solving ability through Practical Arts (Technology & Home Economics) curriculum.

Adolescence is a period when ego resilience, the ability to overcome stress, is important because self-identity is not established. Culture and arts education has various effects on the ego resilience of adolescents, so school culture arts education and social culture arts education use teaching and learning methods appropriate to the situation of adolescents. Self-understanding of the effects of culture and arts education has a significant effect on emotional control, vitality, interpersonal relationships, optimism, and curiosity of adolescent ego resilience, On the other hand, it was found that emotional stability among the effects of culture and arts education did not have a significant effect on all factors of adolescent ego resilience. Therefore, it is necessary to prepare a plan to provide opportunities for career exploration as a more practical program for adolescence to understand themselves and develop themselves. In addition, Culture and arts education should be conducted with convergence research that enables youths to maintain good relationships with others, have high self-confidence, and play a role in a wide range of stable and mature lives.
